New Fukushima Fission?

Tepco Detects Nuclear Fission at Fukushima Station Q By Tsuyoshi Inajima and Yuji Okada - Nov 2, 2011 4:38 AM ET

Tokyo Electric Power Co. detected signs of nuclear fission at its crippled Fukushima atomic power plant, raising the risk of increased radiation emissions. No increase in radiation was found at the site and the situation is under control, officials said.

.....meaning, the current emission rates can get you dead enough already.

The hubris behind the fallacy of "control" regarding this nuclear genie running rampant still never ceases to amaze me.

China Syndrome At Fukushima

This report is from August. The corium has melted through the cement of the reactor containment vessel and is in the wild. The heat from the corium has caused the ground to crack outside of the reactors and extremely radioactive steam is pouring out of the cracks. They are getting 1 million milliroentgens per hour in this steam. This is twice the level of a lethal dose and millions of times the maximum annual allowable radiation. An email from a worker at the plant said they were being evacuated.

I would love it if you would post a lot more text transcripts or articles. Those of us who are deaf cannot understand the videos.

Aside from that, does this mean that "in the wild" means it has gone into the ground? If so, they are fucked because the stuff will explode upon contact with the water table. How big an explosion are we looking at? Is it enough to crack the landmass east of the explosion and send it off eastward?

You have a bigger concern to worry about - typhoon propagation of radiation. They didn't think about that did they? How contaminated will our now-expensive-but-cheap trinkets be with radiation? Go long the expensive trinkets before they start glowing in the dark, bitchez!
