CAN WE PLEASE ROLL OUT A WELCOME MAT . . .

There are folks who I would like to invite here, but, the current structure of the site and the Forums is rather akin to throwing a non-swimmer into the English Channel in winter and saying 'Go For It'!

We have talked a lot about rolling out a welcome mat for folks waking up. It is our prime mission in fact, to help folks deal with the coming change.

I would like to see, pinned to the TOP of the Forums list, a 'Welcome New Members - Start Here' forum, with, among other things, an introductory post covering the basic premise (end of the Keynesian Experiment explained), FAQ, resources, pointers to our glossary (which needs expanding and citing).

When I send people here, it would be a direct link to that Forum, where they can get the basic premise and ease into things. Make the red pill a little easier to swallow.

And, if we can get that Forum created and pinned, I will volunteer some time to help organize and write those initial welcome posts, if you like.

Can we please do this? I believe it will help our cause.

Example of what should be in the welcome mat thread

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it." - Frederic Bastiat https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Fr%C3%A9d%C3%A9ric_Bastiat
