IRA Money

I was wondering if anyone had some good advice on what I should do as far as investing/rolling over an existing IRA into a precious metals IRA. First off, is this something that I should even consider doing since there is a big trust issue here. How do I verify if they really are purchasing physical metals in my name and storing it somewhere until I retire. If it is a good idea are there any reputable companies out there worth doing this with. Or should just cash out, take the loss and buy physical? Thanks.

You could roll over your IRA

You could roll over your IRA to Ameritrade (for example) and buy PHYS / GTU / CEF / PSLV / SVRZF (for example). Fairly painless and inexpensive.

I have looked into setting up an IRA LLC, where your IRA owns the LLC, and you manage the LLC. Might be worthwhile if your IRA is big enough.
