Gold or Silver? Please share your thoughts!

Gold, Silver, or Both? What to invest more actively?

I read and hear about silver bugs almost as much as I hear and read about gold bugs but who to listen to?

For example, according to the silver ones, the opportunity to make more profits will come from silver since it is still too undervalue, but what I have seeing is gold keeping going up while silver remain steady.

Just Buy

what you can. Silver is cheap and has allot of upside due to price, Gold also has allot of upside but at a much higher cost per oz.

I have allot of Silver and some gold, which is more about the ability to purchase than which metal is the best.

Both are the only true money, buy what you can, when you can, and if the ratio' comes back to where it should be, it really wont matter which metal you have as long as you have it.

This is more about protecting the future than it is about anything. Personally I hope I will never need to use mine, but I see the fat lady entering stage left, so I hope to have enough protection before she sings, regardless of which metal I hold more of.

Thanks

Thank you very much for your reply.

Some people are more bullish on silver than gold, but like you said, this is probably because silver is still cheap.

I understand when you said that you hope you won't need it but as the world market fears a new credit crisis, I would say precious metals are the best place to be.

Great

Thanks for the link. It was really informative!

I was reading Mike Maloney and he mention that an OK stack for beginners means 3 oz of Gold and 100 oz of Silver. I wonder how did he get to this ratio.

Not sure

I am not sure how he determined 3 oz gold and 100oz silver. I think you should have much more. Don't tread on Me. (https://dont-tread-on.me/) stated in his last video "Final Warning" you should have 1000 oz of silver. Personally the higher your stack the better. Be it gold, silver, or junk silver. Everyone has a different ability to stack. But, they should stack as much as possible. Sure, gold is preferred, but silver will treat you just as well. Or better, if the gold silver ratio comes down to historic levels. The point really is not how much, but that you have some. A mix is better, but any beats none.
