Venezuelan President Chavez repatriated his county’s gold in late August. Has the gold been delivered?

This story was big news a few weeks ago. Does anyone have an updaye?

Was the gold every delivered? What can we expect next?

I suspect he hasn't received it yet. Funny how they can take possession within a day but it takes weeks or months to get it back. When Greece leaves the EU everything will freeze including his gold shipment...I'm waiting for news in this too.

Once you wake up, it's hard to go back to sheep!

It's probably a big deal to ship 250 tons of gold. Needs transport, INSURANCE, etc. Would probably takes several months, at least. Most central bank gold doesn't go anywhere, it just hangs out in vaults, and the title is changed PRN.
