Ruger stock outperforms Gold

For those of us who are still gun-shy about PM investing (I pretty much got wiped out in May), an alternative may be investing in actual guns. Sturm/Ruger (ticker RGR) has apparently been quietly outperforming gold, as well as increasing profits 90% per year. Full analysis here:

Glad to hear they're doing so

Glad to hear they're doing so well because I love the Ruger product line. I especially love that it's an American company.

Some of my favorite products are the Mini 14 ranch rifle, the SR-556 carbine, the 45/22 pistol and the LCR revolver.

The 10/22 is legendary. The SP101 revolver is a very compact, concealable .357 powerhouse. I own both, and am very pleased. Rugged and dependable. Much like the products, the stock looks more like a buy 'n hold than a quick moneymaker.

Ruger makes great products.

Ruger makes great products. I did not know that they are American. I always assumed they were German. Nice to hear that I have a favorite manufacturer in America.
