Jon Stewart Monday night.

Sometimes Jon Stewart just impresses the heck out of me, like last night with his rebuttal to the media about Ron Paul.

It's so good I watched it three times. Here it is:

If Ron Paul gets the GOP

If Ron Paul gets the GOP nomination, I truly fear for him. If the polls show his numbers are close to Oblahblah's (or even better), then TPTB will JFK him. They can't have a US President who genuinely cares about his country, people or defending the constitution.

It is really, really sad that I have come to this conclusion. Truthfully, I feel helpless.

Understanding The Risk

No need to worry, I am absolutely sure that Dr. Paul is acutely aware of the risk involved with him getting the presidency. He has been playing in that world for a very long time. Some things in this life are well worth the risk. And by his actions he obviously feels that saving the greatest country on earth from those that would see it turned into a third world police state, Is worth the risk. . We are a Nation of risk takers throughout our history. Along with great risk comes great reward. We as Americans know this instinctively. The first time the good Doctor uttered the words in open session of Congress "We need to end the Federal Reserve" he painted a target on himself. And he knew it, Yet his convictions out weighed his fear of The Powers That Be. To live your life knowing that that Everyday is a gift with the courage to act upon your convictions. Now that is Freedom.

I supported Ron Paul in 2008,

I supported Ron Paul in 2008, gave money etc... and will wholeheartedly do so this time. However, it will be a minor miracle for him to win the nomination. And an even bigger miracle to beat Obama.

The minor miracle will occur if 1) Ron Paul supporters become delegates and vote for him no matter what in caucus states 2) the other progressive republicans stay in the race and split the statist vote.

Let's say the minor miracle occurs, I think the general election would be far more of an uphill battle than most. The debates would be hilariously sided to Paul, but most americans don't care for debates. Once they realize Paul believes in taking away their goodies and war fun, the progressive republicans(and there are lots of them) will vote for obama. Every statist, welfare queen, warmonger, socialist, communist, fascist, and journalist will crawl out of every hole and vote for obama. Your cousin, brother, and mother will vote for obama. There are too many people receiving checks from the federal government.

The dollar better collapse before 2012 to increase our chances. Chaos will give us a chance to have an honest president. 50% inflation or such.

Paul/Freedom vs. Obama/Welfare

I hope, Mr. P, that even those on welfare realize that the checks are buying a lot less these days than they used to, and that a reluctance to raise the debt ceiling signals a reluctance to sign welfare checks.

I believe that most Americans, given the option of working or taking a poverty-level welfare check, choose to work for their living. It's all about jobs. So far, Paul has won the character/honesty/best principles competition. Let's hope he can also present some appealing ideas for stimulating the jobs market.

If he does, I think he wins by a landslide.

Jon Stewart's piece on the

Jon Stewart's piece on the "invisible candidate" was a pretty clear picture of what lies ahead for Dr. Paul. I was a delegate for Ron Paul at my State GOP convention in 2008 and that process taught me a lot about just how owned, corrupt and depraved is the GOP, along with the entire political process in the USA. Based on what I learned during my time as a Republican, it is hard for me to believe that the GOP will allow Ron Paul to be their nominee. I wish Dr. Paul all the best, and it would hearten me if he somehow become the new POTUS in 2012. But no matter who wins the 2012 election, a great amount of courage and effort will be required, on an individual level, to prevent this nation from stumbling headlong into the abyss of a full-blown fascist warfare state.

Libertarian on Libertarian Hate Crime

I saw this youtube video of a Reason.tv editor dogging Ron Paul. I encourage everyone to spread the word to watch and "dislike" this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCdh3K-dSFg

Hilarious and an extremely

Hilarious and an extremely sad commentary on both the media and the consciousness of the American public. But we knew that.

There is a shit storm coming soon and the American Public is going to suffer from their ignorance. And the small percentage of people will be prepared will weather this storm. I can't say I'll feel bad for those who suffer because they brought it on themselves. Ok, I'll find compassion for they know not what they do.

PS. F*** Fox News! Murdoch deserved more than a shaving creame pie.
