How do you store yout physical PM's?

I'd like to hear from the community how you store your physical PM's. I want to store in my house. I'm thinking about getting some kind of safe, but can't a robber just take my safe out with a dolly like they can with my refrigerator?

Thanks

MG :)

Be creative

There are lots of ways to store without use of a safe or even including but not limited to a safe.

Use the rule of 3s.

Store in 3 locations

1/3 Home

1/3 Trusted location

1/3 Oh Sh*t location

In each location if possible, store in 3 different places/ways.

i.e.

Safe and in walls and in a stash (buried pvc pipe)

Be creative.

A safe is not really

A safe is not really safe.

Better in the walls etc.

Always remember inside metal or next to metal is good.

you might put them inside a metal pipe that is not used and make it look used for something like sewerage. no one will look inside a metal sewer pipe.

You can have a big safe screwed to the cement floor of a basement. but when the robbers see the safe their first reaction will be to put a gun to your head and tell you to open the safe.

fire safes are no good at all for robbery. they are super easy to open.

gun safes are no good. robbers will want the guns.

I am almost always wrong. But the fun in life is those few times when I am right.

If I told you

Reality check

If criminals come to your house with a gun, it will not matter whether or not you tell them where your goods are stashed. You are still dead. So if it gets to the point where you have a gun to your head, you might as well not tell them.

You are dead either way. The best thing to do is own and be proficient with a firearm and not allow them to gain the upper hand. Only in the movies do the bad guys let you live. Also, once guns are drawn, you are past the talking stage and on to the trigger pulling stage.

I might could get flamed for this, but I keep mine in a safety deposit box.

The first rule is...

... don't tell ANYONE you even own PM's, much less that they are stored in the house.
