Civilian Expeditionary Workforce

A new call to service has been sounded across the nation. A call for each of us to be part of a greater purpose. A call

e of us at the Department of Defense can heed by being a part of the Civilian Expeditionary Workforce (CEW).

The Civilian Expeditionary Workforce (CEW) serves alongside our military men and women at the forefront of America’s mission around the globe. A mission to protect. A mission to build communities and renew nations. A mission to spread freedom and democracy. A mission to stand up for the disadvantaged and for the oppressed.

Our uniformed forces deploy around the globe in service of this mission, but we will not ask them to do it alone. Stand up and join them because when we go, we go together.

From the comments to Turd's Blog - re CEW; Very Scary Stuff

I jumped on some of your sites you mentioned, including Zerohedge, one of my favorites anyway.

I read a comment about overseas federal worker jobs. I clicked around, and found this:

My take:

This is officially a US govt-run mercenary force!! Read the FAQ's. It requires the "civilian" workers to wear military uniforms, and even carry weapons. This is some scary stuff. Not only is the military budget huge, but now the govt gets to lie about troop levels, staffing, etc., because the boots on the ground ARE ACTUALLY CIVILIANS!!

Holy shit this is scary!!

Is this from whence the jackboots who want our PMs, our guns, and our food might come? I mentioned on the "Conspiracy" forum earlier ( a scary development I see coming down the pike, that is:

the "youth" of America are drowning in non-dischargeable, and largely useless college loan debt;
the same "youth" are largely unemployed and increasingly disillusioned, despondent, depressed . . .

I fear that either:

the Gov't will "call those loans due" and conscript everyone into service (foreign/domestic; military/civilian - - what's the use of drawing distinctions anymore, really. Don't woooooorrrrryyyy about it!); OR
due to the complete lack of any good options to provide for one's well-being, military / civilian brown shirt service will have a huge draw.

Oops, clearly these musings belong on the Conspiracy Board . . . but perhaps it's good food for thought for general consumption, too.

@California Lawyer replied with this:

Exactly!! Like any behemoth, changes occur incrementally. Think about the ramifications?

Civilian Expeditionary Workforce: Who will this attract? large numbers of disillusioned youth, who for some reason or another, could not qualify for military service. All of these young people will get 10 weeks of training, then off to overseas assignment. Once overseas, think of the training they can get, all without any prying eyes or scrutiny.

Something else to consider: none of the CEW will have been steeped in patriotism, or military discipline, or unit cohesion, chain of command, following orders, UCMJ, etc. Instead, they all get their orders from a CIVILIAN boss, even though they are operating exactly precisely like a military soldier.

Think also the lack of Geneva Convention protections for the CEW? Isn't that the very premise for why there are no protections for the imprisoned "enemy combatants" at Guantanamo and which means the US Govt can detain the combatants forever without due process? The official answer to indefinite detentions is because the "enemy combatants" were not part of the military forces, but were instead civilians. It just keeps getting more and more bizarre and Orwellian.

Then, as you point out Magis00, all of those civilians are forced to return to the USA, and take a 90 days break between new assignments. Does that not also imply that these same people will be doing nothing for 90 days pending an new assignment, which means that they will be easily called up to mobilize at a moments notice, since they will not be able to establish community roots, or residency, etc.?

Ohhhh....the civilian security force?

I remember him about that during his campaign and thinking the exact same thing. Looks like his concept is going to rear it's ugly head and O'Bummer will try to control us by pitting us against one another at some point.

I would have to say that they are already successfully doing so with our budget cuts and unions going against non-unions and white collars vs. blue collars vs. no collars and the unemployed etc...Look how Wisconsin and their budget/teacher union disintegrated into a you vs. me situation. The politicians actually ran away and a huge amount of people had no problem with that concept at all. (We're fucked!)

I see a civilian secret police eventually if things continue along the lines they are headed. Slipping into a socialist/fascist type way of doing things is what I see eventually.

Wonder if O'Bummer will count those as new jobs. Guess it's one way to get the unemployment #s down before

the election.

It is indeed scary. Halliburton ran the same thing after the Iraq war as a contractor for DoD. Now there's no pretense.

Looking longer down the road, it'll be good training when they need that security force on the home front.

@legerde said this:

This also allows a fictitious reduction of the official troop count overseas.

That should get the discussion up and running . . .

Oathkeepers -- Spread the Word about Them, too!

Hopefully this thread piques the interest of those who should know of Oathkeepers. If you never have, do check out this group's website. Here's the beginning to their self-description:

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, veterans, peace officers, and firefighters who will fulfill the oath we swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God.

Our oath is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and we will not obey unconstitutional (and thus illegal) and immoral orders, such as orders to disarm the American people or to place them under martial law and deprive them of their ancient right to jury trial.

We Oath Keepers have drawn a line in the sand. We will not “just follow orders.”

Our motto is “Not on our watch!”

If you, the American people, are forced to once again fight for your liberty in another American Revolution, you will not be alone. We will stand with you.

Whats in a name?

CEW = Civilian Expeditionary Workforce.

National Socialist Party Youth = Hitler Youth

All of these different organisations have a common thread that runs through them all - they are militaristic and fascist by nature. The very high youth unemployment rate, lack of opportunity, anger at being left behind, a sense of being disenfranchised, some carrying crippling student debt loads, etc. All of these things play into providing the raw material for these organisations. Where it is ("molded") propagandized and trained to do the bidding of the power elite.
