Discovery Metals
Was speaking with Eric on this one again today. He really likes this company. They apparently have a massive potential silver find.

Discovery
Craig,
Eric obviously likes Discovery and so do you. Thank you for sharing!
My question to you personally is how much do you like DSVMF?
How many shares do you own and at what price?
When Eric bought it with warrants he paid approx $.405 USD and now its at $.88.
If you own 5000 shares it means one thing but if you own 50,000 shares it means something entirely different Thanks!
Regrets
The July 2020 corporate presentation claims the Cordero property (100% owned by Discovery) is currently the worlds 4th largest undeveloped silver resource with an estimated 595 million ounces of silver! Cordero is also in a mining friendly district of Mexico, which is obviously a big plus.
The corporate website has a section for audio/video presentations - listened to a couple of them today. Very interesting stuff.
The Discovery Metals market cap is $308,400,000 (Canadian) as of close on Friday (July 17th, 2020), so the silver resources they have in the ground are being valued incredibly cheaply. More so when you consider there is also a bit of gold, lead, and zinc on the property AND because they have 4 other projects on the go at other locations.
I bought this stock at $0.44 (Canadian), but my position is quite small. I really regret not buying more at lower prices. That said, the company still presents a very good value at the current share price, but I would love to see a pullback before buying more. Keeping my eye on this one.
here's the news release from earlier today
I don't know...but a potential of 1,000,000,000 ounces of silver seems like a lot

Trading Platform?
What trading platform do you recommend for buying the smaller priced stocks?
I'm in at $1.04. This company
I'm in at $1.04. This company is going to make Eric Sprott more money than any other of his other investments.
I've been using Fidelity
I've been using Fidelity Investments. I'm able to buy a lot of miners for $0 commission.
Anyone have any updated views
Anyone have any updated views on the potential of DSV at a CAD$ valuation currently sitting at $400million....
I think silver is going to vastly outperform gold going forward - wondering if anyone has located a silver junior with more undeveloped potential is a safe jurisdiction like DSV?
Market cap - 1bn ounces of
Market cap - 1bn ounces of silver. Let's say, $1/ounce for the underground silver, gives you a $1bn market cap as bottom line...any revised valuation of $silver/ounce north of $1 gives you upside of market cap.

Discovery Metals is years and years from being a mine!
DSV today closed with a market cap of 1/2 billion US.
They have a PEA suggesting an annual production of 8 million ounces of silver.
Fortuna Silver has a market cap of 1.25 billion. They produced 8 million ounces of silver in 2019. As the silver prices rises they will be minting money.
Meanwhile DSV will be spending money and repeatedly diluting shareholders. They are a long way from even making a construction decision. A bank might finance 70% of the 570 million dollar cost. Where is discovery metals going to get $150 million cash? They either sell a massive amount of shares or become a junior partner. Either way current shareholders will see massive dilution before Discovery pours their first ounce in how many years?
My suggestion is buy Fortuna or Coeur or First Majestic. Large cap dirt plays are money graveyards!
Apparently this is some pretty good news

Yes, nice intercept. The most meaningful thing about this is that its not just one of the best-ever intercepts at Cordero but that it came from an area that hasn't seen much drilling yet, which means this deposit is likely to get much bigger. Very promising for us shareholders... https://t.co/Fcs7DLhycS
