Freegold Ventures

Eric first mentioned this on May 8 and the market cap has since tripled from $50MM to $150MM. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

great post from another TFMR member yesterday

https://aheadoftheherd.com/Newsletter/2020/Freegold-Ventures-Climbs-Gold...

I've been adding. This info helped with some perspective. Love this part:

Hole GSDL 2002 could provide the confirmation that Freegold is on the brink of unlocking the incredible value of the Golden Summit property.

Geo fantasy

  • Hole 2002 drilled at a -70 deg will confirm the dip and thickness of the mineralizing structure so that a true width of the zone can be determined. Remember Hole 2001 did not get all the way through the zone bottoming in mineralization, so the zone could grow wider than the 155m true width estimate from Hole 2001.
  • A second Hole in the zone will also give us a vector by determining the strike of the structure. Hitting the zone where predicted and intercepting the first 9m of 2.4 grams radically increases the odds of these two intercepts being directly related to the controlling structure in the footwall of the Dolphin Stock at one end and the Cleary mine structure at the other with 600m to 800 m strike length as a very high probability.
  • The PEA that used $1300 gold to pit constrain 2,947,000 million ounces gold (1,363,000 ozs indicated and 1,584,000 ozs inferred) will now be wide open for revaluation. Firstly, the rising gold price now north of $1700 will in itself significantly enhance the economics of those ounces.
  • Having the option of blending much higher-grade tonnage into the flow sheet of the PEA from this new structure (which has obvious bulk extraction potential) almost certainly means a large portion of the existing historic global resource 6,524,000 ounces of (1,683,000 ozs indicated and 4,841,000 ozs inferred) gold at 0.63 grams will be reconsidered.
  • Potential to add significantly to those 528,000 oxide ounces at Dolphin provides very attractive cash flow to finance a sulphide processing plant for the higher-grade zones on the property.
  • The discovery ounce potential between Hole 1 and 2 is quite staggering. This exercise is complete arm waving but we have enough facts to provide a pretty good target should Hole 2 to be similar to Hole 1

Great post mgilbert

And wow this one has been fun. Don't think I've had one go up so quickly. First shares I bought for 25 cents on May 8th os so and .88 cents today. Bought more at .39 cents. Wish I would have bought more and probably will soon.

I loved Sprotts comments from this AM's update. Hoping we find the source of all that alluvial deposit from the creeks - could be the motherlode of motherloads + location - ect / ect / ect. ceo.ca talking about why stock jumped so much - perhaps a leak on seeing VG on that big hole - hope thats true!!!!!

My thought

So, I bought into FGOVF a bit ago, very thankful!!!

I like the price action now. It had a rather meteoric rise there, and now has stabilized for around a week whether the price of gold is down or up. Is it just me, or is this not GREAT price action considering that rise. Good consolidation.

My thoughts
