Initial jobless claims spiked but Durable Goods soared as new airplane orders inflated the numbers. Of course, the reaction in Comex Digital Gold was a little up but then more down.

And you can see this below. The data was released at 7:30 CDT on this chart with the jobless claims coming out first, followed by the Durable Goods number.
