This is a test...

I do have a menu bar

And the one on the old website never worked for me.

Maybe it was a Mac thing and maybe it wasn't...

It's looking to me like that not only do I have a menu bar, but it is now working for the first time in many years.

I'm pretty sure it worked before the pay wall went up, but I haven't been able to use it since.

Some of it I'm going to have to learn how to use...

Now I can yell in bold italics,

Which a lot classier then just typing in all capital letters

Thank you for adding the blue border at the top, it makes those faded and washed out headings a little bit easier to read.

Would it be possible to add a few more colors?

Seriously, the old website just seemed to have more character, as if an interior decorator had gone through it, using lots of colors, just to give it a homey feel.

This format just strikes me as way too stark.

I'm also curious if there is anything similar to an archive of posts by individual members.

It used to make for some interesting reading...

I don't seem to be able to find it now.

When I get some time later, I'll do some more exploring.

At least for now, it's good to be bold!   devil

You said you use a Mac, I'm

You said you use a Mac, I'm assuming you use Safari as your browser? Do can you find out what version of Safari you are using? Typically there is an "About" menu buried somewere in the upper right corner of the browser.

Craig has the ability to modify anything he wants with the color scheme. We set it up with a pretty basic layout, and it's up to him to decide where he takes it from here.

Hi Steve W...

Let's see what happens when I try  the quote thing in the menubar...

I used the term biologically defective in a loose way. While you consider spirit somewhat separate from mind, I don't make that distinction. Whether my thought and emotions originate in my brain or in my spirit is not something I explore since I have no tools to make that distinction. I like to think my spirit and mind are well integrated but am prepared to accept that my mind (spirit) is susceptible to external influences that are called empathic.

Alright, that's different...

Years ago, when I was seeking information that is not readily available, pertaining to sources of free energy, and accessing the Aether,

Someone who I haven't seen here in ages, I think it was Pontiac, suggested accessing the Akashic records. (highly unlikely I spelled that right)

Basically, that's what Rudolph Steiner is trying to teach, but you have to accept a few premises...

He also suggested changing the questions that I ask myself, for example "why can't I remember my past lives"?

He suggested rephrasing that question to "how can I remember my past lives"?

I've learned enough to know that better questions solicit better answers.

The distinctions that I've been making have practical applications, which I am exploring.

His teachings aren't really any different then what spiritualists have known for many thousands of years, but when they are incorporated into lessons and exercises, it's probably worth taking them seriously.

This calls into serious questions the old phrase "the answers are all within you".

It may just be a matter of knowing where to look. Hey, it could also be a matter of semantics.

Anyway, I'm working on it. I'll get back to you with any significant developments. angel

The website fixer upper

Hi Admin

I'm using Safari  Version 11.1.2 (11605.3.8.1) if that means anything to you, and I generally ignore updates these days, since I got one on my iPhone that literally destroyed it.

My favorite old saying is, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I wish more people would adopt that notion...wink

Having the "Reply" button actually referencing the right post would be quite useful, since we usually have some long-running conversations, referencing what each other says.

I'm sure we can work around it, but the "Reply" button is how we have been doing it for quite sometime now.

Fixing it would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the "reply"

I'm pretty sure the "reply" is connected to the right message, it's just displaying the wrong #.

For example, this one is saying it is a reply to the last post, but is actually a reply to a previous post that I made.

So you won't be losing any context by clicking "reply" or "quote", we just need to get the front-end display synced-up to what the link is. I'm thinking that should be a fairly straightforward fix.

The new science of psychedelics - by Michael Pollan

“I felt immersed in this incredibly detailed imagery that looked like Islamic architecture, with Arabic script, about which I knew nothing. And then I somehow became these exquisitely intricate patterns, losing my usual identity. And all I can say is that the eternal brilliance of mystical consciousness manifested itself. My awareness was flooded with love, beauty, and peace beyond anything I ever had known or imagined to be possible. ‘Awe,’ ‘glory,’ and ‘gratitude’ were the only words that remained relevant.”

Michael's book 'The new science of psychedelics' cuts through a lot of confusion about the  nature of spirit, life and consciousness.

Great to see Mr.Fix uncovering some profound pearls of wisdom on the subject.

"Consciousness is a property of the universe, not brains. On this question, he holds with Henri Bergson, the French philosopher, who conceived of the human mind as a kind of radio receiver, able to tune in to frequencies of energy and information that exist outside it."

the individual

who is able to abandon ego and merge with mystical universal consciousness is an instant creative genius.

The brain is a simple conduit with the potential ability to see the entire blueprint of creation.

The raving psychopath has figured how to exploit this power to control others. (religion etc.)

The humble genius with a big heart shares the riches with their fellow man (science etc.)

Earthquakes

First one of several at 6.5 last night, around 11 pm local time on the Juan de Fuca plate. The first 3 were over 6 and felt by some in the Vancouver metro area. I just slept and it didn't shake the bed enough to wake my wife  who previously woke me during an Earthquake to complain about why I was shaking the bed.

EDIT: AGXIIK, you just beat me to it but I've been busy all day. At least I got the graphic!

Commentary on the caravan, let's pretend it's an invasion....

So, all the news is about the caravan through Mexico, let's pretend they are importing Democratic voters.

Well, that's what they want you think....

The real invasion force that is being funded by Catholic charities, Jewish charities, and various other charitable organizations, is advancing forward unimpeded, as military aged men are being hired to form a fifth column within the United States.

The Mexican charade is just for show, so the Donald can look like he's tough against immigration...

Now if this was a genuine problem, these so-called invaders would simply be carpet bombed like we do to school buses, schools, and hospitals, and wedding parties when they are primarily   brown people on the other side of the world.

News reports show this caravan as predominantly women and children.

Kind of tears at your heartstrings, doesn't it?

All the bombing that we do in the Middle East works really well at pissing off the fifth column that the Vatican is relocating to be used against civil society's wherever they are found.

The Donald has promised us that he is going to send as many military personnel into the southern states as is required to secure the border.

This is bullshit.

This is just a another law that the government is breaking, namely, deploying its own military within the United States,  the big scam, is to whip up public support for this debacle.

The military dictatorship pretending to be a democratically elected government, will now deploy its soldiers to maintain "Law and order" where ever the suppression of basic human rights is required.

The Donald says:

"Sadly, it looks like Mexico’s Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States. Criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in. I have alerted Border Patrol and Military that this is a National Emergy. Must change laws!"

Due for arrival right on

Due for arrival right on election day.   All sorts of shtuff floating around, Guatemala/Israel connection, needing to sway elections in the tropics and home.     It also feels a little like tightening the rope on our Central America leaders who have a newly acquired taste  for Chicken Chow Fun to go along with their  arroz et habichualas .    Chinese also have very warm hearts when it comes to offers of nation rebuilding.

And generous offers to refurbish their homes.   Really, a multi-purpose operation.

I offer you my promise that none of you will ever see a Hondurian walking around your town.  Unless, they somehow magically get around military and border patrol and make it into your townsquare with 10 MSM camera teams interviewing the poor hungary freedom seekers

1/2 of the countries have been shipping them back home.  Think about it.  You need some real good Nike sneakers to walk 1400 miles.   I wouldn't be surprised if some in the Caravan were getting paychecks while CNN offers them filet mignon dinners.   Rib-eye even better.  In my opinion.

It's still October 25 and the moon is full

Hey guys, where is everyone   Did the new site send you packing?

I am feeling a little lonely here on the forum without the regulars jumping in---regularly
