Wallace Wattles

Green Lantern:

I downloaded the suggested collection of Wattles' writing to my Kindle. I've skimmed a few pages and am suitably intrigued. I'll dig into it later and will surely have commentary.

I just finished Barbara Hand Clow's book on Chiron and it's heavy load of karma to jump start enlightenment. I could use a break. I also enjoyed Steven Forrest's books. He has explained the basics of a natal chart in a way that I finally am able to understand and begin to decipher. I always enjoy your bibliography and often read your suggestions though don't often comment. I know you feel like you're shouting into the wind from time to time but your influence is greater than you are aware.

AGXIIK,  GLParents (what's

AGXIIK,

GLParents (what's wrong? )

GL:  I don't want to go to Sunday School.  I don't want to go to Sunday School

GLClergy:  Your parents told me you don't want to come here anymore.   Is there something wrong?  We want you here.   Why don't we give you a solo that you an sing for everybody here.

GL:  I don't like it here because you guys aren't teach me shit.  You're reading things that have no meaning.  There is no meaning.  It's all ritual and all dogma with no meaning.  All I know so far is that God is an old man with a beard and a big stick.  Why should I waste my time when I could be chasing the girls on the street?  Of course, I didn't say any of that but those were the thought forms I couldn't articulate at the time.  They couldn't teach me because they didn't understand.  They just passed along what somebody taught them.

Once I read a 100 books.  Joseph Campbell comparative mythology comparing all the world religions and you see they have ALL THE same stories.  All of them.  SAME, SAME, SAME.  Indigenous people all around the world have all the same myths except they change names and some themes and variations.  Creation myth, flood myths etc, etc, etc  You come to the realization, there is something that somebody is not telling you.

If you look at all the religious from the perspective of principles, there is very little that is not universal.  The trinity, the son of God etc, etc, etc, So you speak Christian when you are talking to Christian, Hindu with a Hindu, because that's how they think.  Anybody can be "enlightened" in any of them, and anybody can be full of shit. That's nothing to do with the institutions.

People curse the institutions thinking they are free of it all and it's just them and Jesus.  HOwever, it never occurrs to them that their entire understanding comes from.....THE INSTITUTION.  Not from any sort of direct revelation.

So all these weird Christians, Wattles, Neville, Gann, Merton, Theresa of Avila decided to do it their way.  These people have been cut off.  They would all bring down the institutions if their work was acknowledged as true because they saw the inner side of the teachings.

Fix: Whatever works for you.

Fix: Whatever works for you.  It amounts to sitting down and going in the closet (shutting your eyes and connecting to your heart) and hallucinating out of your mind until the pictures in your minds eyes are real.  Adams took the other path and found that out that writing is the act of creation.

The original DC Comic writer for Superman and Batman discovered that writing moved the aethers and was a powerful way to inner discovery and creation.   He realized he wasn't writing Superman.  Something was moving through him to write it.  He was coming in contact with a higher force and it was writing the story through him.

For 17 years Alvin Schwartz lived a double life, one half of which was spent writing the adventures of Batman and Superman, the other half writing novels and spending time with members of New York’s intellectual society such as Saul Bellow and Jackson Pollack. During this period, his characters had taken on lives of their own, and he realized that his writing of their adventures was more like dictation than creation. He found that personalities can be taken off and on like the suits worn by his superheroes and that the lives of Batman and Superman were melding into his own. The journey of inner awareness that Schwartz undertook at the prompting of the tulpa Thongden (who appeared in his earlier book An Unlikely Prophet) evoked a great sense of metaphysical unrest, which is where this story begins. With the aid of his mentor Thongden, Schwartz is carried beyond the ordinary boundaries of personal identity into an interpersonal consciousness inhabited by a multitude of selves, including the dark figure of Batman.

While in An Unlikely Prophet Schwartz was able to channel the ever-present figure of Superman into a positive voyage of self-discovery, in A Gathering of Selves he uses the raw strength offered by Batman to carry him to the next stage of understanding: What we think of as “self” is but one layer of an onion-like structure of multiple selves that co-exist, representing the foundation of the fundamental unity of all being.

What Scwartz didn't realize was that Superman represented a universal archetype.  People needed the image of Superman to understand what was coming into the world.   He was preparing people's consciousness in a way that people could relate to without freaking out.  In the meantime, he had an extraordinary experience. And realized the act of creation is essentially the art of aligning your consciousness with a higher realities and bringing them into form.

Like a Boeing 787 Turbofan at full throttle.   cheeky Like watching somebody try to pull their huge dog by a leash when it wants to just sit in the same place.

I'm glad you're enjoying the journey and taking the time to investigate.

Yep, understanding the archetypical stories associated with just one planet is a deep dive but it pays off once you see how those behaviors work in yourself and out in the objective world.  The trick becomes putting it all together with all the other archetypes and coming up with one cohesive story that our celestial friends are imparting to us.

Honey, I love you so much.

Honey, I love you so much.  Please Quite Smoking

Thanks babe.  Let me think about it

Honey, You need to loose some weight.  You'll feel better about yourself.

I'll try.  I bought those low carb Costco Peanut/Butter Chocolate bars and the Greek Yogurt Ice cream.

Your opinions seemed to based on some antiquated way of thinking.  You keep reaching the wrong conclusions.  You might want to pick up a book by Joe Longo on timing your investments according to ancient wisdom of the tree's.

Go Fuck yourself. You Nazi bastard

Telling people to 'be' different in anyway, shape and form and to consider new behaviors, new way of thinking is the same as playing the Mega Lotto and expecting you're the winner.

They have done experiments with lotto winners.  They were poor.  Won tons of money.  Guess what?  They were poor again.  If they didn't know how to handle money before, there is no reason that giving them a boatload of it is going to change their behavior.

Stopping a habit.  Loosing weight and Considering new information and applying it in the real world only happens when a person has a change from within.   SHIFT OF CONSCIOUSNESS.  You're understanding of how the world operates.

If by now, people have summarily refused to buy any of the great books on fishing offered here, it only means they still want people to do the fishing for them.

Declaring disaster areas is the new way  the states get federal funding these days.

Sunday School, increasing consciousness and the simulation

It was around 1959, I was 7.

I wanted to play with my friends on Sunday since school took up 12-14  hours a day with homework and all.  7 AM to 9PM.

Teachers and parents required of us little preppy fuckers to get a thorough and regular douching of school nonsense with 3 hours of home work a night. Failure to do 3 hours of homework got your ass caned because the teachers told our parents to nark us out if we didn't do the 3 hours  I figgered it was easier to do the drill than get smacked around.

Talk about cruel and unusual punishment. I'm surprised I survived this boot camp crap.  Dammit, I had a full time job by age 6 without a frigging paycheck. That sucked bad enough.

Saturday should have been a play day but usually involved errands and running around with parents doing whatever shit they had to do, not chance to play with my little homies in the hood. I got dragged along because they considered me too young, stupid and irresponsible at 7 years old to  stay at home by myself on Saturday while they did their parent erranding.  They didn't have much trust in my innate sense of responsibility which was very strong for a 7 year old.

Little did they know that left home alone I was a perfectly behaved model child  whom a parent could always trust.  There was everything at my disposal to search and destroy, set fires when possible, shoot anything with my pellet rifle that moved, dig holes in the flower bed, sample the home brew, mess with the cat, play with the dogs, make gun powder for home grown bombs, chop down trees in the forest, and make a pig sty of our home.  All in one day's worth of Saturday fun   What could go wrong with that scenario.

Yanno, typical kid stuff that I could do when parents were off doing their thing.  I failed to see how that was a problem but still got dragged off with the big people

So Sunday was the only day to get to play with my friends.

What were they doing?

Going to Sunday School.

The first time I heard this lame ass excuse I thought they were fuckin' messing with me.  Who goes to school on Sunday?  What type of grabastic mind fucking bullshit was this???  I knew how to swear and was salty at a sailor.  My parents were models of decorum. Riiiiight

My friends explained to me that Sunday school was what their parents said they needed, as  if they didn't get enough of an educational high colonic 5 days a week.  I figgered they'd been bad, didn't do their lessons, fell behind in class,  set fires in the locker room, generally effed up.

But no, they had to go to Sunday school because they needed more time to learn about god.

Well Jesus H Christ, our prep school crammed god down our throats every day. Man oh Man, we got god all the time.  Not that it did much for me. I was usually the one who got caught talking or dicking off waiting for the head master to read something from the bible or lead us in a hymn. I got called out regular for playing grab ass during our group meetings.

Whatever.

I still have to admit I really liked Onward Christian Soldiers because they were  always off to war.

How cool is that?   War!  I was totally on board with war.  Pugnacious little basturd that I was.

Hey---God's on our side while we little goody two shoe Christians got to go out and kill a bunch of people who wore different hats and smelled funny.  Sign me the fuck up to that program

Anyhoo, my friends are all getting an extra doze of God on the only play day of the week and I'm sitting around looking for something to do. Or at least something else to blow up.  Because you never know when we'll be marching off to war.

It probably explains why I think religion kind of sucks, at least for this heathen. And maybe a bit of my attitude, as much as I'd like to expand my consciousness, was evolved by this exposure to some weird shit.  This is my story and I'm sticking to it.  But I might have a better on tomorrow if you ask me.

As for Cernovich's 44 minute video. I like this guy even more now. It appears that he is wrapping up his time on the internet, having challenged plenty of orthodoxies and smashed more than a few along the way.  Gorillamindset and his private channel are his next venture according to his timeline.  He mentions the problems with pilots and planes too. And  the Alt News is bad ass.

My question is

Who will pick up the baton he's carried this far?

Us?

All humor aside, on Mainstreet a note was posted about an M8.2

earthquake 563 km deep, 280 NM  NNE of Fiji.  This is one of the largest of its type in several years. Effects might not be felt elsewhere but this sort of quake can have follow on quakes thousands of miles away. West coast, South America, Pacific Rim The last one of this magnitude was 1 year prior to the start of the Eddy minimum

Martin Armstrong just posted his prediction for earthquake cycles starting 8-20 through 9-10  Not cataclysmic but worthy of note  He was one day off if you take into account the international date line  The Fiji quake was 8-19

I'm chronologically dyslexic but it was 19.38 UTC.

I strongly suggest that you follow lee Stranahan on Twitter and read his populist page. He's about the best investigative reporter on the planet. Writing the Russian stuff is near impossible for me cuz I can't phonetically spell out the names. I know how accurate and meticulous his work is from what he's done in the ME.

You tube stole ten years of work from him a year ago.  He does things that bother me that have nothing to do with the content and quality of his work. Reading him will give you many of the answers that you are looking for and he backs up everything. He's dangerous and I would be surprised to see him suicided cuz they have for years killed his work.

I don't always agree with him but his research is impeccable and he presents facts not opinions. Look there

We all have the. I've just had to rely on them to get by. I'm dealing with people who are smarter and don't have an iota of empathy. I am the best tracker that I know because it necessary. I can lick my index finger hold it in the air to determine temp, humidity, wind speed etc. i purposely leave the entrance to my drive way dirt. This way I can check tire treads and tell approximately when the last vehicles passed thru. I can do the same with footprints.

I've also have had to learn to notice everything. I watch a glass left on the counter and can see the ice melt and tell when someone put it there about. I do the same when watching the ponies work. I don't use a stop watch. Others around me do but I don't.

It used to trouble me but I learned way to early to read body language. I had to cuz I realized I was alone. My parents were still alive but I recall being in bed thinking it's all up to me. That at some point no one was going to cross over that line between this life and next with me. What triggered that in so young - perhaps six or so I do not know. But I do recall feeling my eye sockets and realizing I had a skeleton and wondering what other people think in their heads. I just knew I was odd and constantly in trouble. I took a toilet apart and ended flooding the kitchen below so I could see how it worked. That need to know has gotten me in mucho trouble over the years.

Every single one of you can do this if you needed to. Modern medicine has shown that stroke or brain trauma will cause the brain to use or develop new or different pathways. I think that occurred naturally in me. It was only as an adult I wanted it verified that I was wired differently. Imaging and comparison clearly show something is different from most others in me. It's confirmed so I no longer dwell on it.

Fortunately my father refused to accept the schools testing results and have me placed with severely learning impaired students. Keep in mind these things were in their infancy when I began school. Unlike mr fix who got no help. I had plenty. Mainly thru a private tutor who was a young Jesuit priest. Who btw never discussed religious dogma with me. In fact once when I was overwhelmed he pulled out clip on roller skates and took me skating thru the church aisles. I believe I mentioned along with sophisticated techniques. He used one I found out we're used inherent keller. Only mine were common fridge magnets for little kids. That how I could finally see numbers as everyone else does.

On the other hand it's great not caring what others think. Insults roll off me cuz they are correct. I know exactly who I am.

Lastly the same weather pattern repeated again today. I'm inclining to believe someone or something is tampering with the weather.

Oh not that it matters but I'm going to Saratoga NY not Sarasota.  It can be hotter than hell there this time of year. I'm just hoping the travers is run in a dry track cuz they have had a lot of rain too. It's known as the graveyard of champions. Even secretariat failed there to a horse named onion hehehe. It's the best dirt meet in the world. I'd rather win the travers than the derby.

my main concern is the door gets opened constantly. It does have an automatic ice maker. Damn, I didn't notice or think about a scoop. I use so much I also have a portable one that died after constant use over 3years. I'm going to have to bag ice. We are all ice junkies.

I do have a commercial one in the barn. Garrett my mechanical genius, his  father works at a scrap yard and one came in and he held it back. Garrett fixed it after a lot of new parts but I'm using creek water. Cuz when I was running the public stable we used hundreds of pounds a day. I'm hoping it still works but I'd never use it for humans. But it's fine for sore legs and feet on runners. Being iced down is regular routine even in winter.

It's my own stupid fault for spending a whole 3 minutes buying it. My concerns were will it fit and wow I can shove entire cases of whatever in it. They had another one cheaper with the freezer on top but NO ice maker. Plus I'm not spending 3-4K for a damn fridge that will break in a few years anyway and spies on me.

Word of caution

I've known cernovich for a long time. He broke away from us several years ago. He refused to quit playing loosely with the truth. Hes a blatant shameless self promoter.

But what bother us the most was he was getting info from Schiff and went with it without spending five minutes checking it out. He has another guy I can't remember now he lost too. So he had to change his schtick. He doesn't take to the slightest criticism and if you dare question him look out.

Havent paid him a bit of attention in years. Perhaps he's changed. I hope so cuz he was a real asshole prior to 2016.

Ruffian, On Cernovich,The

Ruffian,

On Cernovich,

The  blatant self-promotion and dickishness often go with that territory.  I’m headed toward the conclusion it’s 3 parts ‘persuasion strategy’ and 1 part defence.   Maybe in this guys case an extra part $ since he also sells supplements.

It’s a pain in the ass to filter out and you can’t know in advance if it will be worth the effort  :(

From what you’ve said and some hints from quick research - politics may not be his strength or the time may not be right.    That might not matter.

Cernovich has very clear thinking, at least in the 44 minutes of video that I saw.  If you can spare the time then catch the first 30 mins and see if it is anything new to you.

Interesting comments about Cernovich Ruffian

I have little problem with obnoxious braggadocio oversized egos, having dealt with that sort for years.  Its either a matter of pushing back, deflecting or overpowering their ego. Getting past the ego, sometimes they have something worth learning. I can go with that despite the clutter.

I think we'd have a heck of a platform on DOTS to do what he did.   It's not as complex as it sounds.  The knack of seeing a trend developing well ahead of others is one talent that appears here with great frequency.  Our voices are muted being on a paywall subscription.  Getting beyond the confines of the board is the only way to expand what is discussed here.

I'd think twice about buying any new appliances, even a coffee maker. Aside from anything that's called 'Smart' giving me an inferiority complex, knowing that it's spying on me gives me the creeps.  Our electric meters are smart but those are forced on us.  Anything else is optional.   The trend reminds me of a movie called Idiotocracy.  It was kind of a silly flick until you realize that the movie theme was 500 years in the future.  It's actually here with us now.

Given enough time entire generations will be glued to their pods and Ipad, never having the company of a real human being, thinking life and conversations are a series of tweets and texts.  Everything else will be handled by androids.  The Japanese appear to be well on their way to that eventuality

I noted you're a tracker.  A friend of mine was part of the Nye County mounted patrol, tasked with tracking people who were lost, escapees from the local jail etc. He was also a heck of a water douser.  It's a natural talent.  He half white half Cherokee so that helps a bit with those skills. It helps to know you have those extras senses. It might not be something you notice all the time but it's like the Force.  It's always there, tapped any time you need it. Most people have not a clue.  It's also helpful to see beyond these 3 dimensions.

Have fun at Saratoga.  Correction noted.  I betcha it's fun to see the mighty egos humbled by that track as their horses can't handle the nature of the course

AGXIIK,I used to think the

AGXIIK,

I used to think the Japanese are on the way to robotizing everything but now I’m not as sure.

I don’t have a way to validate the following and welcome input or resources from the board...

Heres the concept in brief:

Japanese society realizes that there are differences in work interest and aptitude among themselves.   They want ‘everyone’ to have a job, and ‘everyone’ to have a shot at employment.  Eliminating too many menial jobs will eliminate from the workforce the people who are best interested and best suited to those jobs.  Therefore a number of those jobs will not be eliminated by robots or software.   It may be jobs such as sweeping/cleaning, customer service, etc.

If true I think that’s hugely enlightened.   Locally I avoid using self checkout and when the bank branch is open I use the teller.  Not because I can’t change but because we need jobs for students,  part time caregivers and so on.  I don’t claim to be as deep as the idea I just presented,  my motivation was not with  such a complete understanding of big-picture purpose.

anyone know anything about this?
