OBTW, The 5 pointed star has nothing to do with dark arts, wicca, etc – they just use it

Imagine my surprise years ago when somebody started a forum here on the numbers and symbolism of the illuminati. Certain symbols can be debased and misappropriated but 5 is 5 and will always be 5. But do you remember a couple of weeks ago when I posted the five pointed star and some planets circling around each other and said this is important to understand where we are going and where markets are going?

Your interpretation of the picture is probably as good as it gets. Worlds within worlds, universes within universes, the micro reflecting the macro etc, etc, etc, etc, And pardon me if I am repeating myself.

Years ago, flipping through some Farrell books in the New Age section along with similar authors (Barnes and Noble catalogers not that hip) and on the next shelf below is a slew of books with pictures of crop circles and sacred geometry. Whats that guys name Drivelo or Drovelo Medilizedek? Medelizek? With all the elongated skulls and sacred geometry and ancient stuff?

Anyway, I pull out one of the crop circle books filled with large color photo's and begin flipping through it. And begin studying one of them and begin gagging and wretching. I throw the book down and go outside because I realize what's happening and rather deal with it without a crowd watching me. Now that's finished. I am like WTF just happened. But now, I feel like a million dollars. Never felt so good in my life. So I run back upstairs, pick up that book and plob my money down at the counter.

FREQUENCY. That's been my general approach with these things. Said another way, What is it doing for me and what is it doing to humanity unconsciously? Once you have this happen to you, no more needs to be said, no more proof necessary. Kind of like smelling a rose. What does a rose mean?

So it would be an interesting exercise to look at what is newly appearing, comparing it to the star maps, and what's going on, politically financially, socially and see if you can find a correlation. My guess whoever is cutting the grass knows a thing or two about timing. The point being, it's not all bad. Both the white force in the yin yangie thing and the dark force in the yin yangie thing are just a little at odds.

Didn't St. Augustine go to prostitutes? And then throw away all his money? Nope, not my type of saint, but he did get his act together in other ways. Can't say I'll be thinking of him tonight.

Abguy, You were saying

Abguy, You were saying something about the 5 sided star. Don't worry about all the glyphs and what they mean. Just look for the 5 pointed star with the yellow lines and then go mmmm? That's weird.

Historic flooding in Japan due to Typhoon Prapiroon leaft at least 126 dead. Max windspeed occurred July 2, the same day a facet of the moon formed an exact pentagon to the n/s meridian. Oh yeah, there is a triangle there too..

So five pointed stars and triangles seem so innocent but seem to have a strange sense of humor on how they want to effect reality.

One of the locals on the site who is in the NW neighborhood up here has spoken highly about the values of CBD and I highly agree there is plenty to be said about the natural remedies and their abilities to resolve and ease our issues. I just recently got onto the Natural News site and have been reading about plenty of the naturals and highly respect the usage of what nature has provided over the patented products pushed by the Pharmaceutical/Medical industry. I'm primarily looking at the preventative end of things. Those running the Pharm/Med industry have been ruthless in pursuit of profits and neglecting our 'cures' over 'client for life' maintenance products.

My racing buddy has been abusing Hydrocodone for a decade now for his injuries and it always seems like he is injured but self medicating so he can train and compete. He is however on another page. It is good to see folks getting back out after getting fixed, I know when I had my injuries getting back on track always felt incredible.

Stars, stars, stars ...

abguy4, when I stare at the crop circle you posted, I see colors move from light to dark and back again. This highlights certain stars for a while, and then others regain prominence. Anyone else seeing that? I assume it's the computer in my head doing that and not the one humming to my left.

Aint' no damn way a hu-man did that during the night with muck boots and a flashlight. Just sayin'.

OK, great, that's the start of meditating on the formation. It's coded in symbols and geometry to break down your normal waking hypnotic state. You are not going to get stock quotes or Wimbledon results, it's all 'higher' notions/ideas. The trick as it were, is to just let go, totally, and see what comes. It's subtle

Soulscape - Perhaps I could have stated it more correctly?

The list has no meaning for me. I don't let what other peoples mind constructs are influence/infect mine. I try to see impartially - at least I work at it.

When I said "the people I adore on here" I was not stating that I adore people who have snipes at GL. I know who I meant and it's not them. GL took it the way he did because of his own constructs. That was the purpose of the list.

all imho of course smiley

Why as a forum have we spent

Why as a forum have we spent 100,000 man hours joining the fight against socialism?

Donald Trump doesn't defeat the left with his twitters. Scott Adams doesn't defeat the left with his persuasion. Q's 5000 (whatever #) sealed envelopes, the dark web doesn't defeat the left, none of the rhetoric, cheerleading, voting for your favorite guy, bias's or anything else defeats the left. The numbers defeat the left. Socialism can't survive when money runs out. Socialism and government is in a death throes. Taxes that steal your money to pay for more government, undefined space weapons and all the unnecessary things runs out. You run out of money. That is why you are here? Right? To find ways NOT to run out of money.

The great socialist experiment ENDS. And it ENDS badly, and it doesn't need your help. It doesn't need you to sacrifice your life, your limb, your peace of mind. The numbers will do it for you. It's simple arithmetic. Tell a man he is full of shit and what does he do.....he fights for his survival. Call out the left what does he do? They fight for survival. Try to kill the candida in your body by starving it of sugars, and pouring anti-candida herbs down your throat. What happens? YOu begin jonesing for sugar. It will fight you to the death even on a body level.

And yet, you've now written more posts about the lists than you have on any other subject that has appeared on DOTS in two years. For something that has no meaning, you have given it lots of life. I thank you for that.

Of course, the list has meaning for you. That's why you are taking the time to publicly reject it. But this time it is just you. I'll consider that a cognitive shift. YOu think there is some invisible principle here?

And you do let other peoples mind constructs influence you. We all do. That was sort of the point of AM's post. Did you see it? You've identified enough them to declare victory? Or just over my mind tweaking?

Your presence here might even be the result of some higher intelligence herding you too?. Scary right? Your thoughts on manipulation, which is the last thing I ever recall you writing about some years back that even slightly pertains to financial issues was a result of a construct that infected you. How did that get in? Notice how associations and lists stick in people's minds in perpetuity?

You would fight the list as a construct, thereby making the construct even larger. But interestingly you are one of the peeps that have no say on maybe the 100's of constructs that cross your eyes that seem to have infected others and undermine the posts that undermine true discovery? I wonder why that is?

So maybe you are controlled? Maybe I am controlled? Maybe even AM isn't above it? He's just incredibly aware that they exist.

Speaking of control mechanisms, herding, all the unnatural things that effect us whether from above or below, from the sky, or the ground (there are influences there too you know), I forward a new premise. A different sort of premise. That the greatest form of control is not your computer, not facebook or twitter, not mentioned in ZB's book, Corbett has yet to make a video about it. It is the one form of control that seems always to get missed that allows all the other forms of control to have even more power.

Now if you can identify that, I'll believe your other statement that other people's constructs don't effect you? Anybody?

Anytime, you want to talk about the list, I'll be happy to join in. Just to give you an update, it has grown since the last time we talked, and it's bigger than a bread box and smaller than an airport hanger. It grows and shrinks with time. It has it's beingness in the same place where those unseen constructs that don't effect you live.

I also surmise that I don't get you, or nobody here understands you has a secondary gain for you. And maybe, you like most of humanity are figuring out how to understand yourself? Because once you do that, the rest is easy.

Just curious about something.

Just curious about something. I posted two links yesterday. How many of you watched the second to the end?

How to tell? Well I'll put a reply post to this and if you did NOT watch the second video to the end, please hat tip that post to let me know I'm not getting through as much as I might.

The point (of the second video) was not merely in the title you see .... a point certainly was, but sometimes a quick glance does not notice all that's there.

I have some sort of odd

I have some sort of odd permanent association with New Zealand and Sheep. Why is that? Because it was memed into me. I can't get rid of it. I wonder if it has any lasting effect on tourism.

Am I the only that found it humorous that when TFmetals was founded, one of our favorite pasttimes was calling others who weren't in our flock, sheep.

The biggest problem with the association between sheep and non-gold bugs

is that it creates a disinformation picture of sheep.

But if we really understood the true nature of sheep, we would have thrown off the invisible chains of authority within the metals community. Not invested in things that we associated with an authority simply because he was the face of that investment.

I'm calling that the Frank Perdue Syndrome. No greater persuasion to buy a chicken from a company, not because of their organic farm raising techniques, because of the face that they put on it. That's persuasion.

Would you buy a chicken from this guy?

Because this picture wouldn't make the sale. Rule of persuasion: A face is more persuasive than the facts.

So put up a picture of an innocent, honest looking older man with gray hair and receding hair and becomes permanently etched into your associative mind.

So how do we replace authority as a way of knowing what the hell to do with our money? Should I listen to Turd? Silver Doctors? Jim Sinclair? King World News? Jim Rickards? Peter Schiff, Martin Armstrong, AM? It's a problem.

Can sheep teach us how to invest?

Mentorship.....

Why Mentorship? Because it says so in the bible in all those parables and that's what sheep really teach us.

It doesn't matter what's in the ground as long as you have a person you trust telling you it's there because unless you have a neutral person who has first hand assessed the property, the paper is going to tweak your image to their favor.

There’s no domesticated animal species that has had more of a reputational fall from grace than the sheep. To call someone a sheep today is just about the worst insult there is. To call someone a sheep is to call them stupid and — more pointedly — stupidly obedient and in thrall to some bad shepherd.

It wasn’t always this way. Jesus isn’t insulting you when He calls you a sheep. The point of all those Biblical allegories isn’t that sheep are stupidly obedient or easily led, but that the healthy life of a willful sheep requires a good shepherd.

Ask anyone who actually keeps sheep. Sheep are weird. Sheep are evolved to have a very different intelligence than humans. But sheep are not stupid. Sheep are not obedient. And sheep are definitely not easily led.

Of course, no one except a dilettante farmer like me keeps sheep today, so all of the Old Stories about sheep and shepherds have lost their punch. They’ve all been diminished through the modern lens of sheep-as-idiot-followers.

Today most people dismiss the notion that good shepherds — i.e., individuals with expertise and wise counsel in some difficult to navigate field like … I dunno … investing — exist at all. And they utterly reject the idea that it’s actually okay not to have a fully formed and forcefully held opinion on anything and everything, that it’s not a sign of personal failure to say “I don’t know” and follow another’s lead.

It’s not just the media careers and media business models that are built on the notion of the Constant Hot Take — an unending stream of contrarian opinions expressed in the most incendiary way possible, solely for the entertainment value of contrarian opinions expressed in the most incendiary way possible — it’s the millions of hours that so many non-media civilians will spend engaged on Twitter or Facebook or whatever to construct their own steady stream of Hot Takes and bon mot responses. All tossed out there like bottles into the vast social media ocean, never to wash up on any inhabited shore, lost in some great Sargasso Sea of impotent and forgotten texts.

To answer that question, I want to go back to the Old Stories. I want to share with you what sheep are really like.

Sheep are evolved to have a specific type of intelligence which has the following hallmarks.

  1. Enormous capacity for other-regarding behaviors. Sheep are unbelievably sensitive to what other sheep are doing and their emotional states. If another sheep is happy — i.e., it’s found a good source of food, which is the only thing that makes a sheep happy — then every other sheep in the flock is filled with jealousy (there’s really no other word for it) and will move in on that good thing. If another sheep is alarmed — which can be from almost anything, as bravery is not exactly a trait that tends to be naturally selected in a prey species — then every other sheep in the flock is immediately aware of what’s going on. Sometimes that means that they get alarmed, too. As often, though, it’s just an opportunity to keep going with your own grazing without worrying about the alarmed sheep bumping into your happy place.
  2. Zero altruism and overwhelming selfishness. The most popular misconception about sheep is that they are obedient followers. It’s true that they’re not leaders. It’s true that they are incredibly sensitive to other sheep. But it’s also true that they are the most selfish mammal I’ve ever encountered. They don’t lead other sheep or form leadership structures like a pack because they don’t care about other sheep. Every sheep lives in a universe of One, which makes them just about the most non-obedient creature around.
  3. The determination to pursue any behavior that meets Hallmark #1 and #2 to absurd ends, even unto death. My worst sheep suicide story? The first year we kept sheep, we thought it would make sense to set up a hay net in their pen, which keeps the hay off the ground and lets the sheep feed themselves by pulling hay through the very loose loops of the net. Turned out, though, that the loops were so loose that a determined sheep could put her entire head inside the net, and if one sheep could do that, then two sheep could do that. And given how the hay net was hung and how these sheep were sensing each other, they started to move clockwise in unison, each trying to get an advantage over the other, still with their heads stuck in the net. At which point the net starts to tighten. And tighten. And tighten. My daughter found them the next morning, having strangled each other to death, unable to stop gorging themselves or seeking an advantage from the behavior of others. The other sheep were crowded around, stepping around the dead bodies, pulling hay for themselves out of the net. That was a bad day.

In both markets and in politics, our human intelligences are being trained to be sheep intelligences.

That doesn’t make us sheep in the modern vernacular. We are not becoming docile, stupid, and blindly obedient. On the contrary, we are becoming sheep as the Old Stories understood sheep … intensely selfish, intensely intelligent (but only in an other-regarding way) and intensely dogmatic, willing to pursue a myopic behavior even unto death.

Why are we being trained to think like sheep? Because sheep are wonderful prey animals. They pay the rent with their fleece, and when push comes to shove you can eat them, too. Plus they’re not helpless prey animals. Sheep are quite competent and rather self-sufficient prey animals, which from a smart owner’s perspective is really what you want. If sheep were truly docile and stupid, then they’d be way too much trouble to keep. Nope, with sheep you can let them wander around all day and do their thing. Just keep them from killing themselves in some really stupid accident and you can harvest them for years and years and years.

How are we trained to think like sheep? By the rewards we receive from our modern social institutions for other-regarding flock behaviors like jealousy (feeling sad when others are glad) and schadenfreude (feeling glad when others are sad), and by the penalties we receive for self-regarding pack behaviors like honor and shame. If you’ve ever kept a pack animal like a dog, you know how clearly they can experience a sense of shame, that feeling when you believe you’ve let the pack down through your personal failure. Sheep have no shame. Not a bit. Shame requires self-evaluation and self-judgment against some standard of obligation to the pack, concepts which would make sheep laugh if they could. Sheep are enormously other-aware, but never other-obliged. They’re high-functioning sociopaths, shameless creatures of jealousy and schadenfreude, which is exactly the type of human most purely designed to succeed in the modern age.

The mechanism for all this sheep training, particularly in our investment lives, is what game theory calls the Common Knowledge Game. Once you start noticing it, you will see it everywhere.

So is gloating as a group of your superior knowledge have to do with this psychology outlined in the song schadenfrede?

For instance, would some of you be happier if I were hit by a train? That's Schadenfreude. CAn you relate?

the process of awakening

some thing to ponder Today, on this date, in the year 138 AD, the Emperor Hadrian died--and in so doing initiated the succession process that would eventually put his protege, the young Marcus Aurelius, on the throne. On this anniversary of Hadrian’s death, it is worth making a hearty recommendation of the book Memoirs of Hadrian by Marguerite Yourcenar. This beautiful French novel purports to be a fictional correspondence between Marcus and his mercurial, but compassionate and thoughtful, mentor. One quote in particular, which Marguerite puts in the mouth of her fictional Hadrian, is worth pulling out because it was illustrated movingly by both men in the course of their actual lives: “Nothing is slower than the true birth of a man.” What Marguerite is really getting at is the process of awakening that is philosophy, specifically Stoicism. Wisdom is not something we are born with, or something that comes to us in a transformative moment of Zen. While our literal birth may take only a few hours, our spiritual and philosophical birth is far slower. It is a gradual process of growing awareness--we get one insight here, another there. We have an experience somewhere else that adds an element of connective tissue between the two, or perhaps opens up an entirely new area for exploration, and slowly it begins to take a shape. One that, when we look back upon it near the end of our lives, we recognize as...us. Remember this, today or any day, if you are frustrated in your studies or your lack of progress. It took a lifetime for Marcus Aurelius to become Marcus Aurelius, and a lifetime for Hadrian to become Hadrian. What makes you think that wisdom is going to magically come sooner or more completely for you? Remember again, this this philosophy is not about an end goal but rather it is a process, a cumulative one in which each day is a little better than the last, even if imperceptibly so. Put in the work. It’s worth it. But just remember that your true birth will be a slow one. These paragraphs above were emailed to me today by the Daily Stoic and I thought was relevant to some of the conversations that have been happening at DOTS Silver66 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fYnfE5Cycg

I watched them both...to the end. I hat tipped all your post including the one that I have just quoted. And I see the meaning in both of the video's although the first one, the Simpsons said it all.

Of course, we might have breached Puck T Smiths laws of discussion by moving on to crop circles, and other things before we fully took the meaning out of your post. Suffice to say, you kept me busy for a while.

Next I've speculated to myself why you posted it, in relationship to what is happening on DOTS, and why you just came on here a second time after my exchange with silverlyblue to ask us again if we watched it to see if we got the message. So I'll take your timing as a hint. I see you are taking the humanitarian approach instead of forcing your opinion on us, the leading us to water approach to see it for ourselves.

Again, this is all speculation because I can't be inside your head to know what you think but the preponderance of the evidence based on the content of those video's leads me to believe that you are have sort of a comment on the list itself.

And I also speculate that you think the counter behavior here has something to do with the content in the videos but NONE of us can see it. That would mean that some of us are inside a construct that we can't see, and we as a collective are having a hard time expressing this idea.

Now, I'd ask you a question or two back but because I am more overt than you in making a point, I would have to figure out a more subtle manner to ask the question or find a good example that expresses my point in the same way you are doing it. .

I could be all wrong here. Probably not on the content of the video's but what you are trying to do here and where and by who it should be self applied. But I've given you my best guess.

I kind of like your approach. I actually like it very much. But it leaves alot of room for alot of people to be left out and the crux of the manner never addressed. But I like it. But I can say the same for my overt, in your face, state it straight up approach, it has the same chance of failing and people interpreting according to their filters.

Again, if you're asking me what I see. I've said it without saying it all.

edit: The second one has less to do the psychic meaning and differences of the list and more to do with another sentiment expressed here.

Sheep, growth, self awareness, hat tips, Selco- wanna be a hero

Dang I hate it when the light of day kind of blinds me.

Sheep Good article. I had no idea of their nature. Having been a sheep, now in recovery, 12 step SA program, been a shepherd (business owner), desperately needing to evolve and seeing that I can still be a selfish rat bastard, silver 66 offers some solace that this is a journey of a million steps, several lifetimes (if one can remember the past ones).

GL You mentioned that Kali Yuga started around 1,200 BC. We're now 3,200 years into this process yet there have been hundreds of golden and silver cycles with the big cycle. Who did we piss of that we got to this point? 3,200 years seems a bit much if iron age is some sort of punishment.

Or are we still that freaking unevolved that we collective sleep/sheepwalk through the milleniums. Maybe it's just me but this is a long slog with little chance of anyone seeing some surcease any time soon Actually that's a selfish sentiment, like it's about me or you or someone else on this long march

The sheep comment forced me to think of altruism, working with others and being something of a team player. I forgot about hat tips until AM mentioned them just now Yes, I went back and watched both videos and pretty much got the second one while Lisa Lionheart is a gob smack that rankles me because women are still terribly demeaned today. That's always hovering just below the surface.

Maybe it's women who will lead humanity past this Kali Yuga cycle stage of our evolution. If we survive. I went back to did HT every post that rung a bell with me. Even YKW. (3). This allowed me to take a second look at to what was written over the last 4-5 days and take it in some context. The dustup is just part of a larger theme of energetic disturbances that are hitting all of us hard right now. I think the next 10 days could be dicey.

If things take a really dark turn for whatever reason then we get down to basic survival. I haven't thought about Selco, his site and posts of a year in hell, in maybe a year or so. Story of survival in Bosnia's epic crash, told a story of how a multi cultural civilized country flash crashed into overwhelming violence, death and destruction. He told the tale of what he learned and one lesson was--Heroes die.

They fail the basic test of taking care of their family. They stick their head out and it gets chopped off. Then they can't take care of their family. Almost as bad as having to fight in a basement bar. The basic rule of survival is taking care of your immediate family and trusted allies. Plus a boat load of guns and ammo, fuel, tampons, med supplies, BIC lighters, more food, water and means to purify and a strong hold.

If the technicals roll around the corner you best put maximum rounds on target and do so really fast. It's not the heroes that survive. It's the well prepared hard headed and very aware people who have just enough forward knowledge to take cover, open the gun ports and are always vigilant. Since there were few, if any, guns posts since this time last week, this is my advice.

Can it happen here?

Just a cursory view of some neighborhoods that are no go zones, filled with have-not peoples who have a hard on for the haves. If the spice fails to flow the shit will hit the fan.

I'm not ready. Not really. Not but a long shot but might be closer to being ready than most. This everything bubble has me very concerned because when it pops and Kali Yuga and his crew come rolling up in their cars and vans, there is only so much that you can do against a determined adversary.
