Trade Wars. It's so much easier for us resolve something that pushes our buttons. Bombs, guns, explosives etc...
Consider this material suitable for a bed time story. But let's give it a try anyway.
If two experts give their version of the dynamic of a trade war (assuming there is one and it's not just negotiating rhetoric (which it is so far) how do you know which expert is correct if you're not an expert?
If two candidates predicate their election on these two platforms which one are you voting for?
A. No idea. I'm not reading it.
B. Inny, minny miny moe
C. The guy that's going to remove all the Mexican's
D. Have somebody else tell you the answer based on their reasoning skill.

To make a long story short, there are solar cycles and planetary cycles that have much influence on the climate we experience on earth. Landscheidt and others predicted many years ago, based on these known cycles, that starting about now, earth would start cooling due to those cycles, and this cooling period will peak around 2030, then slowly start to warm again, so the total period of cooler climate will be 25-50 years long. I wonder if Deagel's prediction in 2014 that the U.S. of A.'s population would drop from 332,000,000 to 54,000,000 by 2025 has anything to do with this? He doesn't say this on his site--he says it is due to migration (and deaths) after the western financial system fails. Regardless of cause, the Deagel prediction is spooky. The temperature of planet earth might not get so cold that kills people but if you consider the effect on food supply, that spells big trouble. Millions could die.
Citrus, fruits and vegetables problematic. Chile where we get alot of citrus already had a very bad cold spell recently.
Now alot of you are gardners. How is it going so far? You can only plant your seeds according to the moon cycles when the grounds NOT frozen.
Hydroponics or green house is the only solution.
If any of you in the northern plains would like to relocate to the tri-state area and need some idea's, ask away.
Looks life is gonna be rough soon in the nice area's of the country.
As we sit around watching the collapse of civilization as we know it, including a collapse in faith in government, a faith in the banking system, and faith in mainstream religions, and their holy books, it has occurred to me that at some point, something that resembles human civilization must be started over.
For the purpose of this thought experiment, invision a small town, with reasonably well-defined natural borders.
Be it mountain ranges, rivers, an ocean, or even remnants of an old civilization long gone, such as a highway.
The only purpose for these perceived boundaries, would be for the purpose of delineating those who played by the rules, and those who don’t.
Since I am the one writing this essay, I get to name the imaginary town.
We're going to call it Fix’s Republic.
As I'm sure you can guess, this town does not have any authority figures who rule over others, since the only law in this town, is:
“Do what ever it is you wish, but bring no harm to anyone else”
In this town, all men and women are considered equals under the law. This is the true meaning of "all men are created equal”.
Fix’s Republic has a town charter, which is nothing more than basic guidelines for personal fulfillment, and getting along with others,
There are also sanctioned penalties for those that don't play by these basic principles.
Since some are familiar with ancient historical documents, that have served populations well in the past, I'm going to save time, and borrow the antiquated and deeply flawed United States Constitution Bill of Rights as a basic rough outline of my town's charter.
Please read carefully, your life and well-being might depend upon it.
We are only going to focus on the first few concepts in the Bill of Rights, but in summary, if the actions you contemplate brings no harm to others, it is your right. If however, it is your nature to contemplate actions that do bring harm to others, then this community is not for you.
All people have the right to engage in free speech, with the basic caveat, that it works from the premise that all men and women are created as equals.
This in no way should be interpreted as human beings are identical. That would be stupid. But there is no class of human that is any better, or any worse than any other. Any aberrant beliefs such as ”a divine right to rule”, or a ridiculous assertion of being "God's chosen ones”, will have their residency terminated.
There is no freedom of religion in Fix’s Republic.
If you wish to express tenants of your particular spiritual pursuit incorporating concepts such as "the only way to salvation”, a "megalomaniacal and vengeful imaginary sky daddy”, threats of "eternal damnation" for noncompliance, you will be rightfully charged with engaging in terrorism, and expelled.
Expulsion is a one time act of grace, people who return to continue to engage in the practice of "Missionary work” that includes such a terroristic threats
will be executed.
Defending your rights to life, liberty, and your own pursuit of happiness is your own responsibility. It is your responsibility to defend yourself against anyone who claims authority over you, demands payment for services never rendered, brings harm to your person, or your possessions, or trespasses on your property by whatever means are available to you.
Since every person in the town of Fix’s Republic should be considered armed and dangerous to any parties wishing to impose themselves upon the town, it is the responsibility of the residents to maintain their freedom as individuals, or in the face of overwhelming force, as a collective.
There is no military, and there is no police force. You are all obligated to maintain your freedom.
Your right to be left alone is absolute, and anyone who insists on violating that right, can be lawfully executed.
Fix’s Republic has no jails. You cannot be held for any reason. If you have caused harm to another person, or their property, and cannot or will not make restitution, you will be expelled, recidivism that continues to bring harm to others will require execution.
Criminal complaints will be brought to a town council, or magistrate which are voluntary temporary positions held only by those cognizant of natural laws. These are not elected positions, and are by appointment only. Appointments can only be made by and to those deemed knowledgeable on such subjects. Nominations will be accepted,
Since Fix’s Republic operates on natural laws / common laws, it is the responsibility of all citizens of Fix’s Republic to know them and abide by them.
Ignorance is not a defense.
All manner of compensation will be determined voluntarily by those involved in any transaction. The value of any goods or services will be arrived at by the parties involved in their exchange.
All exchanges are considered permanent, unless otherwise negotiated prior to transaction.
Parenting is the obligation of the parent. Education is the obligation of the parent. Parents will be considered responsible for the behavior of their children until a parent has determined that the child is responsible for themselves.
If you are concerned with "who will fix the roads”, and would rather complain about a pothole, then to fill it, this is not your kind of town.
The people in Fix’s Republic will be of the nature that when they see a need, they will perform the service required to remedy it.
What I have outlined, is a thought experiment, to open up a dialogue.
Comments are welcome.
In the meantime, I've got more dents to pound out, and holes to fill. My Bondo awaits me.
Have a nice day.
Wouldn't it be an irony of fate if millions of Americans start migrating south into Mexico only to find a wall with all sorts of eye, dna, and finger print censors keeping you from escaping to a warmer climate where you can plant your seeds?
The universe is smart enough to pull such a feat off.
A couple of thoughts come to mind If everyone is equal, then who makes people leave especially if there is no police and who gets to decide. Expulsion is an act of Grace, who determines if it is an act of Grace of just good negotiating? Who gets to decide on the execution? Benevolent dictator or the mob mentality IF everyone has free speech, then those that speak out against the republic, are they exercising free speech or are they ner do wells who should be expelled Silver66
Silver66 Rage against the dying of the light
I'm guessing the Canadian wheat fields might be a type of tundra by 2030. So, not only Americans would be looking for a place to plant, but the Canucks, too.
Makes me wonder how the civilizations that some say live in the center of the earth ever plant and harvest crops...
Once it is been determined that an individual has brought harm to the society, which could be arrived at by consensus, or by the voluntary magistrate who is up on such things, that person if choosing to remain recalcitrant, is expelled.
Expulsion, would probably be voluntary, when you consider that the alternative would be execution.
You are right, this is a mob mentality, and I have harnessed the power of the mob to maintain it's own sovereignty.
Who's the executioner? You can start with whoever was wronged, the survivors of whoever was wronged, or anybody who might be reasonably concerned that he or she could be wronged next. I don't expect any problem in finding volunteers at that point.
We won't have any crap like "May he without sin cast the first stone". If a person has done harm to society, or is an ongoing threat to a society, he needs to be removed. Fire away.
This society is completely voluntary anyway, there really aren't any State sanctioned requirements. Ultimately, all we are implementing is a natural laws, which really don't require State sanctioning in the first place.
Speaking out against the republic, or bringing harm to it in any material sense, are two different things.
For example, if you want to call Fix's Republic "a bunch of Neanderthals", you will have to answer to the Neanderthals.
Keep them coming,
I've got a run to the store for more sandpaper.
Looks like there are other laws embedded in your new fiefdom, one being the expressed outlawing of religious freedom; which seems to collide with an expressed, total freedom of speech.
It doesn't look like a republic, but it's not anarchy, either.
Appears to be run an appointed, educated nobility. Are these law enforcers (not police) and decision makers paid?
GL, I was going to respond to this post, however you beat me to it.
I have followed with interest Armstrong and various others who have spoken about global cooling and its effect on crops.
I first become interested when I visited the Bio-dome in Arizona 24 years ago. There was a researcher in there by the name Roy Wolford.
I bought his book about high nutrient, low caloric eating for longevity. I found it very interesting but did not pursue, due to a very young family and it was not a focus.
Fast forward to last few years and joining this site and having a mindset of being prepared. My eating is very different at 50+ than in my early 20’s
How does this tie into global cooling?
I think having food security is easier for the individual than many think possible. It does, however, require preparation
I want to give a shout out to 57GoldTop. We have spent a fair amount of time together over the last few years and a big hat tip to him for his experimentation and resourcefulness with home preparation. We both independently became interested in sprouting as a method of supplementing our diet and have both realized that IF required sprouting can provide a significant nutrient portion of a diet, for minimal cost and infrastructure. This weekend we went to the local grow op store and I got some grow lights for my seeds and for sprouting. What is cool about 57 is he has built his own battery packs using old ammo cans and got solar panels to charge them, this allows him to run his sprouting system off the grid. Very impressive. It is my plan to get my system the same way very shortly.
The supplier for our seeds sells in bulk and to be honest, for a couple of hundred dollars I can have a year or more of nutrition stored in my basement fridge. This will allow me to significant supplement my families diet if required.
How is this for a lunch, 3 free range chicken eggs fried , 3 cups of lettuce and micro greens with balsamic vinaigrette from your home garden, two pepperettes of deer jerky from fall hunting?
We both agree that this adds significantly to our food security. Since we are sprouting indoors, the frozen tundra/ cold weather will affect our garden but not our nutrition.
While I haven't played with solar light, I have sprouted buckwheat, sunflower , lettuces, and wheat grass and made my own fermented vegetables. You can do it with trays and you can even do it in canvas bags without soil. With nuts, you can make all sorts of things. It's pretty radical lifestyle.
I studied at Ann Wig mores in Puerto Rico and a similar type place in California. Tony Robbins sent his team to Puerto Rico to learn the lifestyle and all the techniques. So yes, survival isn't an issue even in cold climates.
Full court press against Trump. Feds just went into trumps lawyer office and seized records as ny media is crucifYing trump on the fire
People harvesting rhino horn for $25,000 a pound so some demented son of a bitch can get a bigger better boner
Hey fuckstick Ever hear of viagra or sildenafil $1.50 a pop $25,000 will buy you a lifetime supply
Here's an idea. Airdrop some of these sons of bitches into a herd of rhinos hippos and elephants and let the critters have their way with Mr Boner Pill Fuck with the bull, you get the horn. I'd pay a dollar to see jumbo rotofuck someone for killing his brother.
The Fix Republic.
Knowing my nature, I guess I'd have a lot of problem with the killing aspect. If someone transgresses, then someone has to kill that person. What sort of person would be able to do that killing? How does the nature of the executioner square with the demands of the council or the group's demand that the transgressor be killed. What if the executioner gets a taste for blood. To avoid that, do the people draw lots to see who executes the transgressor?
Knowing my nature, I'm sure that I'd have case of the red ass one day, mouth off to the elders or council, rub their fur the wrong way, as is my nature when fucked with, or maybe because someone thought it their natural right to kill a rhino for their horn. And in my usually diplomatic way suggested that was NOT COOL. Suggestion made in a kinetic way, of course.
Who's right and who's wrong The person working overtime to kill Rhinos for fun and profit even as they go extinct, or the person who thinks killing rhinos is against the larger part of natural law.
So what does the council do
Who get's the axe?
"we condemn you to death for transgressions against the commonweal'
Uh huh, OK. If it's me that's getting the axe I might object to this determination because I think the indiscriminate harvesting of rare and endangered animals demands the severest punishment. That'd be a law in my Republic.
Just saying, but sometimes I get cranky and shoot my mouth off---regretting it later but there does not seem to be much leeway in the Republic.
Let it be known that I am in high dudgeon today
So----One last thing. What the fucking bloody fucking hell is Trump doing allowing the FBI to invade his attorney's offices. Trump appointed Sessions. He's Sessions boss.
Where is that sack of putrescent shit Sessions? If it was me, and the FBI invaded my attorney's offices, I'd call a fucking airstrike on the offices of the DOJ and FBI that's make the action in Syria look like a pin prick.
Hey Sessions, you fucking asshole----look up BOOM YOU'RE FIRED
PS I have been accused of not playing well with others. The charges have little or no merit because the accusers were fucking assholes AND I was in the process of doing everything I could to blow their shit up---as was needed in my little natural law world of AGXIIK. Fix's Republic might not be a good fit.
