Ruffian, You're good person.  You got warts like the rest of us.   You got spunk and people like that.   You've said alot of things that people want to hear other people say to make them feel good about how they feel.  That works!!

But you have to stop defending people who dig their own graves.  They pull you down.

Pleading with them to stop, like you've done on previous occaisions won't work.  It doesn't work.

You're on some shadow web with others who want to stop others from stealing our liberty.  You say you put yourself in the way of bodily harm for the cause.

But there are people right here using the same tactics as those dipshits.

first off, I didn’t hat tip the post that GL is complaining about getting too many hat tips for or whatever is going on there.

Last time I hat tipped GL I told him, and he called me a fool for doing so.

I did scan most of the 36 posts

we have AGX calling IRB names, which is how leftist SJW’s argue. I didn’t catch the part where he actually addressed points that IRB raises

i May have missed it though. If someone would like to quote where this was done I will happily stand corrected.

We have GL trying to drag Ruff into defending his sophistry, plagiarism, misrepresenting points people make and his other integrity issues.

GL, in the quote above, claims that Ruff has pleaded with “them” to stop

I’m pretty sure he is referring to a couple days ago where he FALSELY led her to believe that someone here had made a gun threat

A total fabrication

AGX’s “squad leader”

smdh

PS: almost forgot the “flat earth” debate! I’m looking forward to finding out what y’all decide on that.

One more thing

I’m looking forward to a very, very interesting news week?

anyone else?

its nice to have an America First president.

good thing the youth and right wing got inspired

or the usual republican suspects would’ve likely nominated another Bush!

The 4th turning seems to be gathering steam, time will tell

anyways, this upcoming week?

Hopefully Trump/America keeps winning

im not tired of winning yet

Mel

now I'd give your post a trillion hat tips if I could. That first paragraph is platinum.

You and the missus can get thru this too. Anyone who can survive a Montana winter can take anything. You will decide when you have had enough. Plus I'll be sending you some good karma or Mojo or whatever it's called.

Im hoping someday I'll make into the Pryor mountains. I'd kinda like to spend a few weeks up there alone meditating.

Thx for sharing,

warmest regards,

ruffian

First off I'm not a good person. I'm just a person like everyone else. I've got good and bad in me.

Cont...

I'm not defending anyone and I'm sure not accusing anyone without a scintilla of evidence. I gave my opinion based on previous behaviors and I stand by it. Until someone has other evidence to prove otherwise.

Now for the third time let me state anything I do will add nothing but more heat to an already raging fire.

No one tells me what to do. I've been on my own too long to take orders.

Ruffian You can always be counted on to provide balance

I need to reel it in too. There are far bigger matters that concern us right now!  Being triggered by certain people is not what's best for me.   I have tendency is to be a blog hog, something that is not productive to civil discourse when I get the red ass.

Cheers

Mel, hope you both do well

Mel, hope you both do well taking care of business. Yes even here in the Idaho northern panhandle we  did quite well with a wet and cool spring, the grass is just starting to loose it's green hue. I was checking out the fire incident site and both of us and even Washington are doing well with the fire issues so far this season, hopefully with the extra load of fuel we are late enough in the fire season to avoid most of the worst.

Not sure what this means

“red ass”

I’ve felt that way before

when I was a kid

after an ass whooping

but maybe that’s just me

im sure some people get “red ass” for other reasons

But I ain’t going there...

.

.

Ps edit: you say there are more important things to focus on...

i say saving European and American culture (aka: western civilization) is most important.

unfortunate you don’t think that way

the situation can us you or you can use the situation

Senior Silver66 developed pneumonia and Saturday morning when I got off the golf course I had a text from my sister to say he was up in emergency as Dad had had a fall. He was checked out and then back at retirement home and had another fall so back up to hospital. His balance was off and was talking incoherently. I went to hospital at 5pm to relieve sister. Years of having kids, I packed a back pack including some books to read, as I have learned that hospitals are hurry up and wait

Here are the 2 books I read

https://www.the1thing.com/

excellent, very similar to 7 habits

And

https://www.amazon.com/Zen-Golf-Mastering-Mental-Game/dp/0385504462

Really not about golf, that is just the teaching construct

Saturday night in the Emergency was a gong show, however I was a peaceful observer of human behaviour. I read when dad was dosing and was present when he wanted to talk or need to talk to medical staff. Big hat tip to them!!

I left at 3:30 in the morning when the Resident had done an excellent evaluation and said they were admitting for a few days. I could see him Sunday up on the 5th floor as that is where the Resident was sending him.  Dad presented delirium and it was interesting to say the least to have conversations with him in that state surprise

I returned to the 5th floor Sunday morning only to be informed that he was still in emergency room . The bed the Resident told me was available, turned out not to have been available. It was not a good situation, but it was what happened. He finally got a room this afternoon and was sleeping peacefully when I left.

My point is this, it was an unfortunate situation for our family.  My observation was many were not handling their own personal situations well. I think I managed to make do with what was presented and much of this behaviour could be attributed to what I have learned about myself over last 5 years with the resources I have garnered from DOTS.

I used the situation and accepted it for what it was. There was much out of my control and my sister was the calmest I have ever seen her

My other option would been to behave in ways that were negative. Instead of pro-acting by taking material that I could use to influence my environment I could have sat there and fretted. If I had chosen that route, the outcome would probably have been the same but I would have been wound tight as a 8 day clock and it would have been more stressful.

Stackhola,  I have to admit

Stackhola,

I have to admit you outing me infront of everybody that I lifted that Joseph Conrad quote and you were able to figure out it wasn't mine, and in good time too,  and track down the original author was embarrassing as hell.  I should have known better.  You deserved more hat tips than I got on those plagerized Shakespeare quotes.  I was hoping people would think I authored those quotes, but I'm guessing people are smarter than I make them out to be.  Sengfarmer included.

So I've went back and I gave you a hat tip.  Unfortunately, i can't do better than that.  But some of the lurkers that were present at that time who added one or two, might be able to help me out to equalize the field.

I love that Paul McCartney/Stevie Wonder song.

We all know that people are the same whereever you go
There is good and bad in ev'ryone
We learn to live, when we learn to give
Each other what we need to survive, together alive

Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard, oh Lord why don't we?
