That's amazing.

Cant come close to that but I can toss 100lb bales above my head from the back of the pickup to be stored above stalls. Something I hate doing cuz it makes me itch and even with gloves the twine does a number on your fingers. Hope the baler if it caught a snake up in it killed it cuz if it didn't it's gonna be pisseed. Tossing a few hundred makes your arms burn and once that wears off they ache like a bitch for at least two full days. After which you feel weak as a baby. Job that ruffian dreads the most. Being on the stacking end is just as bad. If those bales aren't crisis crossed perfectly. You will have tons of dried grass become an avalanche and burying you and chances are good you fall from 20-30 feet above.

Wheres muh Mexicans when I need them ?

Stacking hay is no fun.

The salmon fishing has been OK, they gave us a 4 day week and limit of one a day so filling a card isn't going to be an option for me. I have 8 fish processed and in the freezer and hoping for 4 more before the season winds down.

Glad I haven't fumble fingered any long posts, but then I haven't been posting much either.

No you haven't.

Good luck with salmon. One of if not thee best meals ever - fresh caught salmon. We don't have them out here on the prairie  but we have trout and it's on par with salmon.

We catch them and grill them over an open fire on soaked wood planks. Better than anything you can buy.

Ima start saving heads and eyeballs for GL.

Another shot

I had begun by saying I never listen public speakers, especially politicians.

Trump gets huge coverage - mainly positive on fox. The rest of the msm covers him so close I don't have too. They should have been covering Obama like trump. But they didn't and worse they covered up the bushelfuls of scandals and corruption from his WH and cronie DOJ. So corrupt they openly perpetrated their fraud despite holder being in contempt of congress and Lois Lerner walks free? That was just beginning.

I watched the debates cuz trump was pure comedy. I didn't watch Obama cuz I already knew what a fraud that muzzie huzzie was. So they can't control my emotions I read what they say not listen to them.

Anyhoo I know we have a majority of anti voters on here. You are wrong. If only 5% of America picked up their phones things would change and change fast. I saw it work when we launched a campaign against John boehner and immigration. We shut down the switchboards and immigration was pulled and boehner forced to resign. Don't think he left willingly he wanted that position.

But we are living in times of weak men. You are being controlled by the powers to be with comfort. It's only going to be strong men who survive the conditions we are hoping to create. This is the only way we can genuinely fight them. When we take away your comfort.

As long as you can go home to your warm or cool house and fill your belly with food and take a shower weak men will do nothing. They have lulled you into being complicit. In fact your their accomplice. I know all the arguments. So don't bother telling me what so and so said. I already know.

How many refugees are living in Nantucket or the hamptons ? Their neighborhoods are the same as they have always been. Do you think they care about public schools? Their kids go to private ones. But go take a gander where white flight has occurred. Go anywhere where white majorities are gone and you find Dearborn, Baltimore etc where black churches motivate their people to vote. Baltimore is a perfect example the entire city is run by black progressives.

The midterms are coming up and they hold more power than ANY Potus. So make sure you let them outvote you. Then again you can wait until the comfort level vanishes. Which is going to happen by numerous ways. Or you can stop letting a few getting away with feeding off our backs. Are you going to pay for another Pigford?

Yeah it's a pain in ass researching local reps and waiting in line. But the one thing I promise you. You have gotten away with it for long enough. You drank the koolaid. You even bought into the minimalist decorating style. (The homes of the rich are not like that). But I promise you will regret ignoring this. Once blight starts it spreads quick. Tell yourself : oh the poor children we must let them in. We don't want them separated from families either. We want them back with their families in their countries. Unaccompanied minors huh? What kind of parent sends a 3 yr old off alone? Who do they send them with? Smugglers and what do smugglers do to kids eh?

Think people think.... Btw those chain link cages are fences from the Obama admin. Another thing the press hid from you that's why your just seeing them now.

My guess is that the majority

My guess is that the majority of people here voted for Trump.  The minority, Mr. Fix and Me are the anti-voters.  However,  I'm not anti-voter.  I'm there is no republic.  We're all making decisions on rhetoric.  (see Fox interview with Trump) 20 minutes of meming and persuading. No news, no facts, no policy, no nothin'   Campaigning and waging partisan war.

As for the long laundry list of reasons why voting has minimal value, that's Mr. Fix's gig and he already done it.

I defended Trump on the separation of parents and children because it's all lies.  Obama put them in cages first.   And the act that allowed it was the Flores Immigration Act (?) inacted in 1997.

NOW, everybody has to talk about it. http://www.businessinsider.com/migrant-children-in-cages-2014-photos-explained-2018-5

They don't have places like

They don't have places like this in the Prarie.....

Don't go to Manhattan Chinatown, head east to Flushing for the real shit.

Get the real hand rolled noodle. Anthony Bourdain's favorite.  They still have his video playing in the background.

And Atarangi, if you come to New York, I'll be your perosnal food chauever.  We're head to Flushing and eat Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings,  some Biang Biang Noodles, and headover to the World Food Court and for some red hot Ma La Tang.

And finish at Fu Run for the Chinese Muslim lamb Chops.   Alllaaha, alllaha, allaha HU.

When I'm finished with you, you'll be shittin' blood.

We have nothing

even slightly close to that. There is no china town in the burg either.

I'm very fond of Chinese but the ones here don't come close to authentic. Bourbon chicken a staple at food courts is not Chinese. I do like american food prepared like the Chinese do. Like fried chicken wings in peanut oil - so crispy.

the family owned joint I go to is the closest but even they have general tzos not Chinese either.  I ask the kids what they like and that how I found the real stuff. But it isn't big sellers here. But I love the garlic chicken and veggies. I love all the soups.

We also have a buffet place which is very good. But I don't like how the owner treats the employees almost all young girls. They have lots of stuff I don't know what is is. I like how the warming dishes appear low. So fresh stuff is immediately placed. Only thing is a buffet is too much for me. Like I said I don't like the owner.

Oh and I'm not eating that swims or worms.

My italian clients said flushing was dangerous. Italian food is my least favorite. I can make a meal out of bread with olive oil and soup cuz I dislike pizza and spaghetti.

Mexican is my second fav but they pretty much serve southwestern style. We have few of those too. They all kinda suck but enough salsa makes most things edible.

Driving into the city where they have much better quality and selection is something I rarely do. Only if I have another reason to be there.

Definitely a drawback to living in bumfuck. Also why I overeat at auctions where celebrity chefs prepare the menu and it's free. Stuff I'll never have again. They have to keep the deep pockets on site. They don't want them leaving to go eat. The deserts are to die for I admit.

There was a noodle place I always wanted to go to in flushing but I've forgotten the name.

Nz has some great food. They are very fond of lamb. I'm not. I don't like Arabic shawarma or Greek gryos. Something about the smell bothers me. No worries cuz they have everything else but turkeys.

Your Italian friends are full of shit.  Look at that video of those annoying ABC Chinese kids doing a food crawl.  For whatever reason, the least dangerous place is around large groups of chinese people.  They can be pushy bastards walking into you, but in general no harden criminals.  Not a better race of people, not smarter, but for some reason in general don't mug people with knives.

Somewhere in Flushing, far away from the business district there are some projects.  I don't even remember where they are and you have to take a bus.  As you go east in Flushing toward Bayside, it's wealth.  Chinese and Koreans made shit loads of money here.

What the Italians might be bitching about is once upon a time, Flushing was filled with Italians and Irish too. But the Italian markets all went out of business.  I remember one or two American supermarkets.   They couldn't compete with the Chinese.

Chinese had everything fresher and cheaper.  They have their own farms, their own shipping networks, own labor, their own type of vegetables,  and out priced everyone.  Italians closed their markets.  All the American chain supermarkets closed down.

Now the fruit is off the wall expensive this year.  Peaches, cherries, watermelons .... just expensive.

I go to Flushing all the time.   On occaision, there are crimes like anyplace else and it's usually not Chinese doing it.  The roque sick bastard.

The problem with Flushing is infrastructure.  They keep building, building, and building. Luxury high rises, more fancy malls with restaurants and the sidewalks are too narrow to accomodate the flow of pedestrian traffic.  They actually widened the sidewalk in one place.  They removed a big multilevel parking lot to build another highrise.   Flushing is busier than any midwestern city.  And it has a nice small botanical gardens on the quieter section.

Jupiter got one big butthole there, we do not want big J to break wind any time soon or we would fly out of orbit.

The giant red dot (I had three on top of my foot) of Jupiter. A storm the size of two Earth's, with 400mph winds that has been going for 150-400years by now, wow, and they complain about the weather here.

My wife loves the salmon and would eat it several days a week if I would let her, but two times a week is max for me. The salmon run I am working is a Chinook (King) Salmon like SB mentioned and the spring run is only good for about a month or better (spring run is the best for the Chinook). My goal is to try and freeze enough for a meal a week for the year for us and two more fish will accomplish that with any more being bonus eating. When I head home to bring a possession limit home I try and bring the fish caught that morning in fresh out of the water for dining that evening and yes the fresh caught out of the water for only several hours is delectable. Besides the river to BBQ fresh salmon we have been eating locally harvested elk mixed in with our dinner menu. YUMM

I fished trout in the Sierra for over 40 years and outgrew eating it after about the first ten years. The small brook trout are the tastiest but you need several for each person, I will occasionally bring home a nicely colored 5 pound rainbow when I was fly fishing for my wife to savor though.

If you are using the store bought cedar wood planks for grilling/baking them they are likely made just down the street from us at a small cedar mill, I think they distribute nationally.

When I am fishing 4 hours south from home we are in deep river canyons with no real phone or internet services except when we surface to the plains and can get service for the short times we check our DFG web sites and river flow, dam fish counts and weather along with a couple of phone calls then back down to the rivers.

Good looking eats in nyc GL. The big cities have the full smorgasbord of the finest of foods and it is fun to surf the restaurants and street vendors.

Amor Fati

Got this email today, seems relevant to the discussions

The way to to have the best life ever according to Epictetus was simple. “Don’t seek for everything to happen as you wish it would,” he wrote, “but rather wish that everything happens as it actually will—then your life will be serene.” Friedrich Nietzsche built off the Stoics 1800 years later when he defined his formula human greatness as Amor Fati.

“That one wants nothing to be different, not forward, not backwards, not in all eternity. Not merely bear what is necessary, still less conceal it….but love it.”

Amor Fati translates to “a love of fate.” Instead of wishing for things to be different, to be better, you wish them to be as they are, embrace them and make everything you can out of them. A weaker person needs things to be a certain way. The truly unstoppable person loves it all because it’s fuel for them.

Of course, this is easy to say, difficult to do. Which is why we created first our amor fati medallions which people all over the world carry with them to touch in their pocket as a reminder of this formula and are excited today to announce the pendant necklace version. Many of you wrote in requesting one and we worked with an awesome jeweler here in Texas to make it happen.

Many generations before Nietzsche, Marcus Aurelius wrote “A blazing fire makes flame and brightness out of everything that is thrown into it.” That’s why the front shows a fire—the force within you that can make good out of everything. On the back are Nietzsche’s words so you won’t forget them.

Earlier this year, bestselling author and strategist Robert Greene described amor fati as a power “so immense that it’s almost hard to fathom.”

There’s a reason why great thinkers and doers have repeated the concept for centuries, and a reason why we’re once again emailing about it—because it works.

By treating each and every moment—no matter how challenging—as something to be embraced, not avoided, you’re bulletproof. Suddenly you’re not just okay with situations, you love what happens and become better for it. Like oxygen to a fire, obstacles and adversity become fuel for your potential.

We don’t get to choose so much of happens to us in life but we can always choose how we feel about it.

3 is the creative cycle, beginning, middle, endings.   birth, live, death.

Because I'm not AM, or Olga, in terms of experience or equipment, and stuck with a decent software but I have to use reading glasses to see the lines through the air,

When I look at gold bottoming at 1277, I see 90 degree square the most outer planet, an ingress into Libra (avoiding details) and some Capricorn.

I see gold above the Saturn line at 4/11 top and I see it then diving below it.   I don't see Jupiter involved

How do I use that for the future?   I guess I'll have to keep watching to see the relationship of price and SAturn.

Here's what I figured out for myself.

All the Gann books will only take you so far unless you roll up your sleeves

In order to figure out what's going, I need a bare minimum astrology software that shows planetary lines.   Somebody might retort, well, he did it on graph paper.  Well, I am not a meticulous individual.  I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a screw driver than draw lines all day and keep such meticulous records.   Jung was like that too.   Not me.

After you get the software, you'll be faced with now WTF do I do?

This is where learning small bits will save your soul.  And just working on small things like how to use the software and which techniques do I need to learn to get some use of it.  Fortunately, somebody made that video.

And here is what nobody tells you up front . The transits are NOT enough.  The cycle of the rotation of the planets is not enough.  Knowing the archetypical meaning of the planets not enough.  You need to be able to find angles and certain fractions.    You need squares and lines.

I figured this out not from books but watching other people and of course they don't tell you all the secrets so you have to reverse engineer how they figured it out.

For the first time since I've been reading Pete (I may have missed it before) I saw Peter invoke a planet.  Has that happened before?   I thought he was all TA?

When we get to the 100th monkey washing the potato, we'll be in business and at last seeing the truth behind the investments that we've spend years making postulates about because Mr. X on youtube said it was true.

Bitcoin looks as if it's

Bitcoin looks as if it's supporters we're all taken.

They were taken by

1. Greed

2.  Memes

3.  Failure to sell

4.  Lack of analytic skills and failure to seek out people who had better skills, but then they would have gone into cognitive dissonance rejecting countrary arguements based on somebody with better skills.

5  Fighting off counter arguements and telling novices that they weren't ready to invest in something like this.  (Putting themselves above others because they thought they saw something others didn't)
