@ Maryann

We also like the scriptures in 1Thess. 4 and they fit perfectly into our view. We will be caught up together with Him. The timing is the differing views. 1Tess. does not say at the beginning of the tribulation nor in the middle but the entire bible points to "after the tribulation of those days". Thanks for your view. Jim

Rev 4

in Rev 4, John, not the church, is taken up into heaven to see the spiritual side of things in his continued vision, because those things occur in heaven (hence he must be in the spirit to see them). Nothing to do with any "rapture" of the church. Pre-trib "rapture" and "2nd chances" are not supported by scripture. Pre-trib is a political invention, along with a 7 year "grace period" to be able to repent. Beware.

Related and on this topic, Daniel is also misquoted out of context in support of the "rapture" for the 70 weeks of years being chopped up to suit the pre-trib agenda. while there were 70 weeks of years, all were fulfilled perfectly with the Jews already. Daniel is a stunningly powerful book written by a Jew, on, for, and about the Jews. It teaches lessons of faith for all of course, but was/is prophecy/history for the Jews only.

@ Dr. P. Metals

As you know, there is so much confusion over these dates and times and seasons. I do not follow John Hagee nor any of the crowd that 'think" they have it all figured out. He has just 2 more weeks for his date of Aug. 30, 2016 for the antichrist to be seen (or he may have new dates or seasons, I do not know) Oh yes, most of the steeple houses think the rapture will happen before the antichrist is here for all to see.

Do we remember the multitude of books sold by the rabbi on the Harbinger? Oh Lord, send us some of Your men like David Wilkerson, who will direct us to Your Pathways for the coming tribulations. amen Jim

That crowd is easy to figure out

anyone who sets a date is both wrong and a false prophet/wolf. Beware.

Randy @ SQ site:

A Father’s Broken Heart

A father’s heart is broken as he hears his children cry
Their mother is near panic in fear that they will die.
“Daddy I am hungry,” the children say before their sent to bed
And the father’s barely holding onto sanity from the pounding in his head.

It is not from lack of caring; he works hard everyday
They had a comfortable living and received a decent pay.
Now his wife is blaming him for the pantry being bare
And the fighting is wearing on all of them as their tempers flare.

There is little food that can be bought and his check won’t even buy some bread
They both wonder how much longer they’ll have a roof above their heads.
Even if he is fortunate enough to continue working, what will it avail?
The entire economy is crumbling, the system now has failed.

He didn’t heed the warnings; he thought they were given by merchants of fear
And now those things of which they warned are not coming, they are here.
He thought it silly to make any preparation
Like many others he thought warnings just to be sensation.

The temperature is getting colder and without power there’ll be no heat
And in three more days they won’t even have a cracker left to eat.
How can the power be off? He thinks, “I always paid my bill.”
His wife must take medicine but the drug store hasn’t got her pills.

Yes this father’s heart is broken as he hears his children cry
There are moments when he thinks it would be better if they died.
They cannot leave because they haven’t any gasoline for the car
And yesterday he heard some news about a giant passing star.

Is that true, he wonders, because he’s now afraid not to believe.
How can he protect his family from a cosmic siege?
In fact his fears for his family are growing by the minute
And the ability to remain safe has far surpassed its limit.

The children can longer go outside for the neighborhood is not safe
A father’s heart is broken because his family is in this place.
A little food and a little water a little light and a little soap
These are precious commodities and the only thing more rare is hope.

Then a soldier comes to his door and asks to speak with him
He tells the father they are saved and a bus will come for them.
They family cries tears of joy for the children will get to eat
And they won’t die from the winter cold; they will have some heat.

They all pack their bags waiting for the bus in anticipation
When it arrives they quickly board without hesitation.
Their destination is unknown to them; but they don’t really care
This appears to his broken heart as an answer to his prayers.

Of course he never was one much for praying but he had been as of late
In fact just like he did the watchmen, most preachers he would berate.
But now things will be ok for to the rescue has come the State.
As the bus arrives at the FEMA camp he soon will learn their fate.

This father was a good man, he just did not take heed
This father was a good man and his family he longed to feed.
But this father did not provide his family’s greatest need
To have a father who believed God’s Word and spent time on his knees.

The family has been separated, the children from the parents
This facility is not what he imagined; it wasn’t at all apparent
That the children would be sent away to undergo education
And that even he and his wife would have to live in separation.

Every night his mind replays the words that he so long ignored
The words of the prophets and the watchmen as they implored
Warning good men and fathers to seek the God of all creation
Preaching we need repentance and the wise make preparation.

None have left this camp; none have returned to their homes
And in the Oval Office they have carried in a throne.
There is no one to represent those who have been interned
And a father’s heart is breaking as for his family he yearns.

This story continues to get darker and there is more that could be told
But you must seek the Truth for you today for time will not hold
Time marches ever onward and every day the prophecies unfold
May the fathers heed the warnings and the children be consoled.

To be prepared for tomorrow is not a difficult task
To be forgiven of our sins all we must do is ask.
Repentance is the preparation of the heart
And the heart is where the preparation for tomorrow starts.

Thanks J.Jr. for firing me up on this wonderful day.

Anytime, Jim, not that you need it from me but you raise some great points.

God's wrath will not be poured out on Believers. Period, Paragraph, End of sentence.

Christ took ever last drop of it at the Cross. That is not to say we will not have some troubling times ahead as believers, but for us, personally, after my years of study, for what it's worth, I believe when the missiles - the ICBM's are coming into America- Babylon, the Bride of Christ goes out.

Whenever that is, is where I stand on the translation of the Saints (ie; the Rapture).

The first act of God's Wrath is the taking of Babylon. Scripture is pretty clear on that.

If one believes otherwise, I would suggest you move out of the USA, and soon.

Until then, we all best not waste time.

Yes Jer. Jr.

God's wrath will not fall upon the Church, however, that may not mean the Church has departed, only just a view. Some may want to leave Babylon and many have moved. There may be a Bozrah (sp) time as Gavin Finley teaches and the Church is protected from the wrath for a season. We will see.

It is wonderful to have you here as always. Jim

Many are called, few chosen!

Matthew 22King James Version (KJV)

22 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,

2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We have had 2000 years to become properly dressed for the marriage feast, as the Bride of Christ. However, many have been bidden and found not worthy. Mankind has been busy with everything except the seeking of His Kingdom and His Righteousness and somehow, the majority are looking for His return and being caught up with Him, whenever that event happens. Will we also be "speechless" on that day? Those who are not properly dressed in that day will fully understand the outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth. Yes it is written that the sons of the Kingdom will be cast out.

We can become overwhelmed with false flags, false events, false Christ's, false steeple house systems, false views of the tribulation era, etc. and completely miss sitting at the Feet of Jesus. What benefit is there for correct doctrine if we miss that entrance into the Gate of the Kingdom and if we miss being seated at table with the Saints? jmo Jim

Great, great truth and statement.....

Everlasting Freedom delivered through Christ Alone!

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. (Luke 4)

.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Mankind has been looking for freedom, throughout history, and little freedom has been found. Jesus said that He came to preach deliverance to the captives and as He said that old prophetic scripture, He also said :

This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

The people within the synagogue were in bondage as were the ones on the outside. Those within did not see their bondage's nor their need for any freedom. Jesus did not come to reform the old blood covenant for the Jews nor to join them in setting up a new government in Jerusalem. He did not come to start a divided new system of believers, not a RCC, not a JW's, not latter day saints with a new book, not a assembly of God structure, not a Southern Baptist nor a four square. He came to set us FREE IN HIM AND HIM ALONE!

Yes he told them, in the assemble before Him, that He came to set them free from bondage. Many of the other forums have commented about being a "free man" and what it is. There is no freedom unless it is within Christ. The Christians world today is in as much bondage as the many who sat before Christ in the above scriptures. We went from one form of bondage and just replaced it with another and who will listen? As we read the N.T. scriptures, we see the outright fight the religious leaders of His day had in hearing the messages from the Lord Himself. We may see their folly and think we are more wise and not within the web of needing deliverance as captives.

Where two or three are gathered in His Name, He will be in the midst of them and that understanding will be a pathway to understanding Freedom. Recognizing our manmade bondage's, that the systems have placed upon all of us from our youth, will add to our freedoms, even today. jmo Jim

It is Written: 1Cor.

7 I wish that all men were like I myself am [in this matter of self-control]. But each has his own special gift from God, one of this kind and one of another.

8 But to the unmarried people and to the widows, I declare that it is well (good, advantageous, expedient, and wholesome) for them to remain [single] even as I do.

9 But if they have not self-control (restraint of their passions), they should marry. For it is better to marry than to be aflame [with passion and tortured continually with ungratified desire].

10 But to the married people I give charge–not I but the Lord–that the wife is not to separate from her husband.

11 But if she does [separate from and divorce him], let her remain single or else be reconciled to her husband. And [I charge] the husband [also] that he should not put away or divorce his wife.

12 To the rest I declare–I, not the Lord [for Jesus did not discuss this]–that if any brother has a wife who does not believe [in Christ] and she consents to live with him, he should not leave or divorce her.

13 And if any woman has an unbelieving husband and he consents to live with her, she should not leave or divorce him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is set apart (separated, withdrawn from heathen contamination, and affiliated with the Christian people) by union with his consecrated (set-apart) wife, and the unbelieving wife is set apart and separated through union with her consecrated husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean (unblessed heathen, outside the Christian covenant), but as it is they are prepared for God [pure and clean].

15 But if the unbelieving partner [actually] leaves, let him do so; in such [cases the remaining] brother or sister is not morally bound. But God has called us to peace.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This chapter in the amp. bible is one of the most discussed and altered by the modern clergy. If we were allowed into most steeple houses this morning and could just read what it actually says and make the comment "I believe every word of these scriptures as originally given to the Church", we would be booted out. There will be bucket loads of tears in that Great Day as the assemblies finally see that they had be taught to sin instead of standing in Faith. jmo jim

Concerning Divorce( Matthew)

19 Now when Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the part of Judea that is beyond the Jordan; 2 and large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.

3 And Pharisees came to Jesus, testing Him and asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?” 4 He replied, “Have you never read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined inseparably to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.” 7 The Pharisees said to Him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 8 He said to them, “Because your hearts were hard and stubborn Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way. 9 I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery[a].”

10 The disciples said to Jesus, “If the relationship of a man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry.” 11 But He said to them, “Not all men can accept this statement, but only those to whom [the capacity to receive] it has been given. 12 For there are eunuchs who have been born that way from their mother’s womb [making them incapable of consummating a marriage]; and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men [for royal service]; and there are eunuchs who have [b]made themselves so for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this, let him accept it.”

That I may know Him!

Philippians 3:10King James Version (KJV)

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

This modern era is just amazing. Remember when we had to open those old encyclopedia's to find the knowledge of the events of history? Now we have the net, social media, cable t.v. and even forums to enlighten the masses. The game shows can ask a thousand different questions and we realize that there are some very bright individuals out there who must spend loads of time in their studies. However, few want to discuss their testimony of Knowing Him. Yes that "I may know Him" will be worth more than the entire world in that day. Jim

Melchisedec, more than a time/dimentional traveler!

Hebrews 7King James Version (KJV)

7 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Days of Tribulation from Enoch!

BOOK OF ENOCH

I-XXXVI

I-V. Parable of Enoch on the Future Lot of the Wicked and the Righteous

CHAPTER I.

1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect ⌈⌈and⌉⌉ righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked ⌈⌈and godless⌉⌉ are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said--Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, ⌈which⌉ the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. 3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:

The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,
⌈And appear from His camp⌉
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5. And all shall be smitten with fear
And the Watchers shall quake,
And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

6. And the high mountains shall be shaken,
And the high hills shall be made low,
And shall melt like wax before the flame p. 32

7. And the earth shall be ⌈wholly⌉ rent in sunder,
And all that is upon the earth shall perish,
And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).

8. But with the righteous He will make peace.

And will protect the elect,
And mercy shall be upon them.

And they shall all belong to God,
And they shall be prospered,
And they shall ⌈all⌉ be blessed.

⌈And He will help them all⌉,
And light shall appear unto them,
⌈And He will make peace with them⌉.

9. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of ⌈His⌉ holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy ⌈all⌉ the ungodly:

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works ⌈of their ungodliness⌉ which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners ⌈have spoken⌉ against Him.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thank You Lord Jesus, for you have provided those at Table with an Avenue of Escape from the coming tribulation. Yes, the wicked will be removed, just as in the days of Noah and You will protect and provide for the Elect.

Book of Enoch found with dead sea scrolls!

DEAD SEA SCROLLS TEXTS

The Book of Giants

4Q203, 1Q23, 2Q26, 4Q530-532, 6Q8

Introduction and Commentary

It is fair to say that the patriarch Enoch was as well known to the ancients as he is obscure to modern Bible readers. Besides giving his age (365 years), the book of Genesis says of him only that he "walked with God," and afterward "he was not, because God had taken him" (Gen. 5:24). This exalted way of life and mysterious demise made Enoch into a figure of considerable fascination, and a cycle of legends grew up around him.

Many of the legends about Enoch were collected already in ancient times in several long anthologies. The most important such anthology, and the oldest, is known simply as The Book of Enoch, comprising over one hundred chapters. It still survives in its entirety (although only in the Ethiopic language) and forms an important source for the thought of Judaism in the last few centuries B.C.E. Significantly, the remnants of several almost complete copies of The Book of Enoch in Aramaic were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls, and it is clear that whoever collected the scrolls considered it a vitally important text. All but one of the five major components of the Ethiopic anthology have turned up among the scrolls. But even more intriguing is the fact that additional, previously unknown or little-known texts about Enoch were discovered at Qumran. The most important of these is The Book of Giants.

Enoch lived before the Flood, during a time when the world, in ancient imagination, was very different. Human beings lived much longer, for one thing; Enoch's son Methuselah, for instance, attained the age of 969 years. Another difference was that angels and humans interacted freely -- so freely, in fact, that some of the angels begot children with human females. This fact is neutrally reported in Genesis (6:1-4), but other stories view this episode as the source of the corruption that made the punishing flood necessary. According to The Book of Enoch, the mingling of angel and human was actually the idea of Shernihaza, the leader of the evil angels, who lured 200 others to cohabit with women. The offspring of these unnatural unions were giants 450 feet high. The wicked angels and the giants began to oppress the human population and to teach them to do evil. For this reason God determined to imprison the angels until the final judgment and to destroy the earth with a flood. Enoch's efforts to intercede with heaven for the fallen angels were unsuccessful (1 Enoch 6-16).

The Book of Giants retells part of this story and elaborates on the exploits of the giants, especially the two children of Shemihaza, Ohya and Hahya. Since no complete manuscript exists of Giants, its exact contents and their order remain a matter of guesswork. Most of the content of the present fragments concerns the giants' ominous dreams and Enoch's efforts to interpret them and to intercede with God on the giants' behalf. Unfortunately, little remains of the independent adventures of the giants, but it is likely that these tales were at least partially derived from ancient Near Eastern mythology. Thus the name of one of the giants is Gilgamesh, the Babylonian hero and subject of a great epic written in the third millennium B.C.E.

Oh what Joy!

One of our granddaughter, N., brings great joy into our lives these days as do the rest of them. N. responded to the gospel message when she was only three and now is a senior in high school. Yes she prays, and is a witness because of her life. Long ago, I talked to her about the loneliness within the old people and how most of us just look past them as if they were not even in the room. Lots of old boomers today just love N.. When she comes into the room, she heads for the gray haired ones first and they get hugs and conversation. Oh that I could have learned that lesson when I was young. Love just cuts through the problems of life. jim
