The lumph brush works, my whole family does it.  Do a little research so you buy the right brush.  Here is my favorite of the ones I have, but is says unavailable now.

So I am sitting at a bar and

So I am sitting at a bar and these two women walk in and sit beside me.  They introduce themselves to me "Hi I am Mika and this Lula.  What are you drinking?"

Oops, just realized wrong forum for that story.

So I'm sitting in the coffee shop this morning having morning beverages with this guy who has been up from Puerto Rico since the Hurricane.  He grows all sorts of fruits and vegetables on his property.

So he tells me about a friend that has only 30% kidney function.

So he tells me he goes out and takes some advocado leaves off his tree.

And then some leaves off his breadfruit tree.

The only time I've eaten breadfruit was on my trips to Puerto Rico.  Man that is tasty shit.

Anyway, I told him never heard of using these leaves as herbs.

“Most people don’t know that avocado leaves have great health benefits.”

Avocado leaves make a great tea that works wonders for treating colds, flues, stomachaches, arthritis, kidney cleansing, antibiotic, detoxing, diuretic, good for gout, anti-inflammatory, lower back pain, high blood pressure, toothache, works well for diarrhea, and even helps to regulate menstrual periods and for treating the symptoms of menopause.

https://drhealthbenefits.com/food-bevarages/beverages/tea/health-benefits-of-breadfruit-leaf-tea

Breadfruit leaves contain kalium, which has big role of destroying kidney stones by dilluting the stones so it can be eliminated through urine. There are many other compounds which give benefits to our body, such as essensial amino acids, riboflavin, hydrocyanate, acetylcholine, tannin and polyphenols. In a research in China, it is proven that breadfruit leaves is very useful to heal cardiovascular diseases.

1. Kidney Failure Treatment

Kidney failure is very frightening. People with kidney failure must do hemodialysis regularly, can be every 2 week or even everyday, according to the severity of the disease. The hemodialysis have some undesirable effects such as hypotension, fatigue, infection, and sepsis; those effects make people really do not want to undergo hemodialysis. Drinking breadfruit leaf tea can help optimize kidney’s work by acting as diuretics. People with kidney failure can consume breadfruit leaf tea for months until the kidney functions turn normal again.

So the guy goes back to his doctor after sometime drinking this stuff.  And doctor says, your kidneys have returned to normal.

Coincidentally, the Mika and Lula story worked out well too.

Did you know there are many

Did you know there are many varieties of bananas?  There are pineapple tasting bananas, apple bananas and even ice cream flavored bananas?

Blue Java Banana

Here in the US, we’re accustomed to one, two, or maybe three types of bananas. There’s the “regular banana,” which is technically of the Cavendish variety. There are baby bananas, too, which show up in markets sometimes, and I suppose you could toss plantains into the mix, too. Few Americans are familiar with the Blue Java banana, a variety that is, yes, a pale and lovely blue, which is weird enough already. But it gets weirder: The Blue Java is also sometimes known as an “ice cream banana,” because it tastes bizarrely similar to vanilla ice cream.

Why is it that I can buy two varieties at most in NYC?

Answer.Monsanto?

Yeah, seems to be out of

Yeah, seems to be out of stock.  I was prepared to buy it too as I will try anything!  I went to the company website, but it appears that they only sell through Amazon.  Will have to search more I guess or look for an equivalent alternative.

Thank you, AG,

LW

Your invited for dinner!

Since the forum is cleaning up their eating habits, I wanted to invite any of you over for dinner tonight, a salad for sure and may be a bit more.  We always have an organic smoothie for breakfast, then a long walk after coffee with our son and plan an evening meal.  This is where my problem began today.

I picked up  six cans of skinless/boneless sardines in olive oil from Costco.  I asked the wife to cut up a few and throw them on our organic salad for dinner.  She gave me one of those wife looks and said "not me".   Therefore, I now have six big cans of sardines and will enjoy my sardine topping upon my salad tonight, full of omega 3.  Are ya hungry?    Jim

Diverticulitis question

Glad to hear that AG1969

I took a friend up to a small town hospital last week for a colonoscopy. He is 65 and never had one and DR wanted him to, so he went. He is divorced and kids live out of town so he asked me if I would be his driver.

As side story to this, the reason he went to woodstock ontario for the procedure is his Dr would not send him to the hospitals in london as there has been an super bug outbreak in the hospitals that is not reported in the media. Since this was elective procedure the Dr did not want to chance his exposure to a super bug if he could go someplace else.

The nurse came out after the procedure and said he had diverticulitis. However the Dr came out later and said " I have to write something down" which made me wonder why he has to write anything down, but that is another post I guess. Dr said so I wrote down mild diverticulitis

64 thousand dollar question is does he have diverticulitis or did the Dr need to write something down.

Could you post your grapefruit seed extract protocol so I can pass on to my friend to have if required

Thanks

Silver66

Where was the pain?

Was it along the left hip bone?  Can he shit?  I have no idea what the doctor wrote down, but I took 125 mg every three hours for the first 48 hrs.  Now I am taking 250 mg in the am and 250 in the pm.

I think this is the original link.  Scroll down to Grapefruit seed extract:

https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/diverticulosis-diverticulitis-treatment3.html

I have experimented with many things.  MMS worked once to stave off an attack, but then did not work the next time I tried it and I ended up in the ER.

I assume by mild they mean what in the states is called "non-complicated."  "Complicated is when there is a rupture of the colon in which case you can die quickly.

I have had several doctors tell me that usually non complicated will stay non-complicated.  Most people with complicated have the rupture their first time around.

I also took 750 mg of curcumin in the am and 750 in the pm for pain and inflammation.

By the way Ag66

Don't let him take the Cipro/Flagyl combination if that is how they treat it up there.  I have been there and it is far worse than the diverticulitis itself.  If he opts for antibiotics, tell him to request Augmentin.  I am not a doctor but you knew that.  I also assume you know why I am telling you this so I won't bother with the explanation.

Oops, almost forgot.  Also take Life Extension Magnesium.  500 mg in the morning and 500 before bed to keep the stools soft!!!

Wow!  Sorry to hear this, AG!  I have long suffered from diverticulitis, but have not had an attack since doing a cleanse about 6 years ago (knocks on wood).  These are so terrible... course I do not need to tell you that.

LW

Guys, I will add my 2 cents

Guys, I will add my 2 cents here because I do have direct experience with this one.  I will start by saying that I am a bit surprised that AG suffers from this because he seems to eat so healthy.  Not that I doubt him, just surprised and concerned because in my experience, the suggestions he has posted previously regarding "leaky gut" was key for me as it reduced or eradicated the inflammation.

One of the most common symptoms for me, is having bouts of diarrhea seemingly interlaced with bouts of constipation.  The pain is typically just as AG described, lower-left quadrant which is known as the sigmoid colon.  For the most part, I started with a thorough cleanse followed by avoidance of gluten, milk products, and I have reduced the amount of meat that I eat.  I also try to eat a lot more slowly as I used to inhale my food.

I avoid strawberries and corn.  The strawberry particularly seemed to bother me due to the tiny seeds.  This can vary by individual though.  I eat nuts again and have not had issues but I try to chew them well and I eat them sparingly.

I do recall having what appeared to be the beginnings of a flare-up about 3 years ago, but I dosed pretty heavily on colloidal silver which seemed to work.

You guys probably already know this but just in case, take this condition seriously!  I know of cases where the inflammation was so bad that a fistula developed which means the colon is connected to some other organ or cavity... this is deadly as sepsis may develop and one can lose the organs/tissue including a sigmoidectomy.

I tend to have what seems to be IBS/D (irritable bowel syndrome/disease) as well.  So stress can agitate my GI and cause episodes of diarrhea.  In these cases, I often have little time to get to the bathroom.

I need to read more on this grapefruit seed approach.  The more tools at our disposal, the better!

Curious, are you guys type-O blood types?

Regards,
LW

My issue lately is lower back

My issue lately is lower back pain.  Man I need to do something to fix this... I feel like I am going to be disabled.  Any other suggestions besides Yoga (As I already intend to try and get back into this).  I am still reading the article posted by ABguy.  It has some good information.  From that source, it does seem likely that my ligaments and tendons have weakened in my back.  I feel like this is the root cause of my problem.  Yoga will help stabilize the joints by strengthening the muscles, but the best solution is to strengthen both tendons and muscle.  Just seems like tendons and ligaments are notoriously difficult to heal or regrow.

I thought about taking bone/cartilage supplements...

Thanks,

LW

I hear you, but I did not always eat healthy.  Before my awakening I was addicted to Diet Coke, ate frozen pizza all the time, and was a mess.  It was not until my youngest ended up on the spectrum after the MMR vaccine that we got our shit together.

It pisses me off that I keep getting these attacks, I am gluten free, I eat all organic and grassfed, yet they keep popping up on me with no explanation. GL has an explanation on an energetic level, but I have not figured it out yet.  I think if the grapefruit seed extract continues to work, I may be able to phase them out because I am convinced the conventional treatment lays the groundwork for the next attack.

The attack I cleared with MMS was a great learning experience because the period after that was the longest I have gone without an attack, almost two years.  Whenever I get conventional treatment I always have another in less than six months.

I know it probably floors you to think anything could be wrong with someone as angelic as myself, but in the end, we are all learning together here.  The grapefruit seed extract tip is awesome, and I would never have tried it if I had not been tipped off and did the diligence.  Great Stuff.

In finishing, another strange thing to consider.  I had a colonoscopy way back when I lived in CT, long before I cleaned up my diet.  It never turned into diverticulitis until long after I did the gaps diet, lost 40 lbs, and solved a lot of other pesky problems that "had no cure."

Every aspect of my life and health improved dramatically, except for this.  Oh well LW, I am human just like you bro.  It's a journey.

On the lower back, chiropractor that can do acupuncture and read your energy meridians.  Again I defer to GL on this one, he knows more in this area.

By the way LW, what cleanse did you do that bought you 6 years?

And another edit, I refuse to give my blood type up here.  These three letter gov't agencies might email me a heart attack.
