Remember you expressed concern that under President Duterte, it would be criminals identifying criminals?

Well, turns out you were right! But it's all legit, they're turning themselves in by the thousands. See the power of a leader who cares and can be relied upon?

AM,

Have you read Weidner's book on the Cross of Hendaye? Looks like people stopped reading it after 2012.

As anybody decoded the alignments that Kubrick is referring to with more specificity?

Deacon Benjamin, Good

Deacon Benjamin,

Good answers!

I see nothing wrong with any individual working within the system that we all have created. I guarantee every person has had a role. Consciously or unconsciously. You want good people embedded in that system.

No GL. I haven't read it. But

No GL. I haven't read it. But I am interested in seeing more of Weidner's output.

That 2001 Kubrick review is so insightful I have to find out if it's typical of his other work. So I'll take some time and look into Weidner further and see what I find.

Did you read any of his books?

@ argentus maximus

I just read the entire review of 2001 A Space Odyssey, and like you, I kept stopping to recall the scenes from the movie. It's been quite a few years since I've watched it, and I think it deserves another viewing.

Deacon Benjamin,

Those are good answers. Although I would have personal issues working within the system myself, I suppose to varying degrees, we all have to deal with it one way or another.

There's just no job description currently within any government institution that I am aware of that would hire a

"Mr. Fix",

and my remedies and solutions are often unorthodox. I also would not be able to help but feel that I was stuck behind enemy lines.

After reading the Space Odyssey review, I can see that my own thinking tends to be somewhat black and white, or more accurately, good and bad. In a segment of the review, I actually understood how spiritual progress can't be made without both.

I suppose, put another way, "Great awakenings" can be a bit messy.

I'll have new things to think about as I watch 2001 a space Odyssey again, since I was only six years old when it was originally released. I don't remember when I watched it, but it was a long, long time ago.

An exploration of consciousness does have many twist and turns to it,

doesn't it? angel

No, but looked over all this offerings on his website, read all the reviews and all the free content that amazon allows. I'm deciding if it's worth the journey. It is interesting for sure. All of this leads back to the 26,000 year cycle and then they talk about the Iron age going back to the golden age. That's not going to happen for a few thousand years and I'll take my sources over him. But if he means that there will be a golden age within the Iron age, that's ok since those cycle of fours are constantly coming back.

Basically, it points to some cataclysm that wakes up humanity and then if you look at others, they are calling for a biblical sort of scenario. The latter ain't happening in my world.

I will probably dip my toes into something else he wrote because that article really seems to be pointing to alot that is unsaid including other alchemists who made predictions.

the end is nigh?

To make the crisis clear for my readers and for all peoples, Washington is surrounding Russia with nuclear missile sites that can be silently converted from ABMs to first strike nuclear missiles that can reach Russian targets in a mere few minutes. Washington attempted to disguise this first strike capability with the explanation that the missiles were there to protect against an Iranian ICBM attack on Europe. This explanation was given by the US government despite the fact that everyone knows that Iran has neither ICBMs nor nuclear weapons.

Do you believe the Russians will sit there awaiting a nuclear strike, or will they pre-empt it with a strike of their own?

As I have previously written, the government in Washington is the concentration of the entire evil of the universe. No greater danger to life has ever existed than the government of the United States.

After squandering many of Russia’s opportunities in hopes of diplomacy, Vladimir Putin now sees the West for what it is: An immoral, power-crazed entity that will destroy the planet before it gives up its goal of hegemony over the entirety of the Earth.

The crazed American government drowning in its own hubris has set us on a course to nuclear war. Can America produce a leader who can reverse course?https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2016/07/08/are-you-planning-your-retire...

Fix, They are working you. Sorry to say.

Watch it again. Carefully.

And then read the description of the video. Google translator is your friend but it states in English what this video is about.

The message is still not an enlightened one but at least nothing is manipulated and taken out of context to give you a different meaning that is already within you.,

GL, thank you for finding that.

I usually do read the comments better than that, I was trying to wade through all of the German, and then I got interrupted.

I knew it was edited, it was posted on Dave Hodges site.

That being said, I will admit, I find the first one more believable.

It is simply more consistent with all of his actions so far.

Thanks GL and Fix

GL I appreciate the correction, I was believing the edited version was real.

As with Fix, I find the edited version is a better match for Obama's actual behavior ..wrong and misleading as it is..

The transcript and the misleading parts bolded:

Leaders and dignitaries of the European Union, representatives of our NATO alliance, distinguished guests, we meet here at a moment of testing for Europe and the United States and for the international order that we have worked for generations to build. Throughout human history, societies have grappled with fundamental questions of how to organize themselves, the proper relationship between the individual and the state, the best means to resolve the inevitable conflicts between states.

And it was here in Europe, through centuries of struggle, through war and enlightenment, repression and revolution, that a particular set of ideals began to emerge, the belief that through conscience and free will, each of us has the right to live as we choose, the belief that power is derived from the consent of the governed and that laws and institutions should be established to protect that understanding.

And those ideas eventually inspired a band of colonialists across an ocean, and they wrote them into the founding documents that still guide America today, including the simple truth that all men, and women, are created equal.

But those ideals have also been tested, here in Europe and around the world. Those ideals have often been threatened by an older, more traditional view of power. This alternative vision argues that ordinary men and women are too small-minded to govern their own affairs, that order and progress can only come when individuals surrender their rights to an all-powerful sovereign. Often this alternative vision roots itself in the notion that by virtue of race or faith or ethnicity, some are inherently superior to others and that individual identity must be defined by us versus them, or that national greatness must flow not by what people stand for, but what they are against.

Nick, Not a fan of Obama.

Nick,

Not a fan of Obama. He has played his role very well in contributing to the decline of the American way of life that was already in progress, and no doubt would have continued to proceed in that direction if it had been some other establishment candidate. Cycles are like that. There were many qualified people to fill that role of destroying the constitutional powers of the executive branch and turning it into a King's thrown. And even has done a fabulous job at expanding NATO right into Russia's door step, and Putin countering his moves. But that was the plan for many years. Somebody here showed us the maps that were drawn a long time ago. Somebody else seems to be running the show. And even his string pullers might be on some cosmic strings.

BUT, it's worth noting there has also been quite alot of wrong speculation about his actions, from the Alex Jones meme about Obama declaring Sharia Law worldwide vs what he really told the troops in Saudi Arabia. I guess there is still time. There is a good possibility that some of the threats of what Obama will eventually do might never come to roost. He might end up being like George W. Bush, just another living President that falls into obscurity. Or he declares himself the President for perpetuity. I'm not in that camp. Maybe a highway or two named after him, a library, a statue .... But some of the misinformation, might be the fodder that was the setup for the rise of anti-establishment meme which I think the preponderance of the evidence shown here, especially by AM, shows that he isn't very much anti-establishment.

I think his actions were bad enough on their own merits that it's worth being impeccable what he hasn't done. But I'm still scratching my head about the piece that AM posted. Because in a way, Kubrik is both referencing the past, and the future all at the same time. An ancient tradition that might have seen all of this 1000's of years before it happened. Not sure if Kubrik read any of that stuff or just tuned into it. And a future that with some theme and variation is inevitable, all for the greater good. And the laws of nature/cosmos that has it's own plan in mind and we, our elected officials are following out a greater plan than Obama could ever conceive. My issue with the implications of the Kubrik piece is that there are non-specific references of things that might happen that I have context for outside any reference in that piece. I just struggle with the timing and exactly how that would manifest. But if it does, it might make Obama and some of our imagined fears, speculation about what the future really holds, irrelevant.

BTW, Obamacare hit my family hard more so then any law that was ever past by any other living President. Fortunately, I married a smart cookie that knew how to deal with it.

Stockman on a roll

As we have long insisted, there is absolutely no need for the essentially useless BLS employment report in the first place. That’s because the daily payroll tax withholding receipts of the US Treasury tell you all you need to know, and with one huge advantage to boot.

To my knowledge, there is no sentient employer in the US who sends payroll tax money to Washington based on phantom jobs owing to seasonal adjustments, birth-death imputations or trend-cycle adjusted models which recalibrate shop floor headcounts to fit a prior trend.

Accordingly, if you strip from the payroll tax data an allowance for any tax policy changes, and allow for the going rate of nominal wage increase, you essentially get a proxy for real units of labor input to the American economy.

That is to say, you get real time estimates of labor hours worked, not medicated and manipulated statistical model projections of what a handful of GS-16s think the census count in the nation’s workplaces should have been.

Cuckservatives play with fire

On the moves to procedurally undermine the man who won more primary votes than any candidate they've ever run:

"I don't think people should be scared of the notion that it's going to be chaos. It's not going to be chaos any more than the 1860 convention that nominated Lincoln," anti-Trump conservative Bill Kristol said on a conference call with Unruh's group last week. "It's unusual, but this is an unusual year with unusual circumstances." https://www.cnn.com/2016/07/10/politics/five-things-rnc-convention/index...

So, no more than 600,000 will die? Wait, we have to adjust for population...millions. It's almost as if (((Bill Kristol))) had a foreign country that he knew he would be welcomed in after starting a war here.
