But have you ever tried to explain anarchy to an ant colony and tell all the workes to tell the queen to fuck off?

Or the non-dominant wolves in a wolf pack to overthrow the dominant male so everybody gets a chance to eat the organs of their kill?

There was no mention of subservience in that conversation.

The billion year reference was to the idea that you feel better the higher up the hierarchy you feel you are. Not about pushing others down.

After 5.01 in the video he speaks of hierarchy.

Dominance and subservience are related parts of hierarchy. Cooperation may be or following orders may be, much depends upon mode of interpretation of the actions of a worker for the tribe/hive/group.

"If I don't pull my weight we may all die and that would be bad. " and "If I don't pull my weight I may be cast out and I don't want to die alone" are descriptions of the same circumstance, but with different attitudes to the same facts.

Also: being located near or at the top of a hierarchy pyramid is going to help seratonin production, reduce anxiety, and make you feel good. As GL said in a post some months back "It's cool to be the king. "

And I was being a bit facetious and humourous while at the same time drawing out a better explanation for some things that have been asserted as more absolute than might be appropriate.

False Missile Alert #2

Happened a couple of days ago.

Days After Hawaii’s False Missile Alarm, a New One in Japan

Japan’s public broadcaster on Tuesday accidentally sent news alerts that North Korea had launched a missile and that citizens should take shelter — just days after the government of Hawaii had sent a similar warning to its citizens.

The broadcaster, NHK, corrected itself five minutes later and apologized for the error on its evening news. The initial texts cited J-Alert, a system used by the government to issue warnings to its citizens about missiles, tsunamis and other natural disasters. But NHK later said that the system was not to blame for the false alarm.

But have you ever tried to explain anarchy......................

But have you ever tried to explain anarchy to an ant colony and tell all the workers to tell the queen to fuck off?

OK, I know I’m being baited here, but whatdahell, it’s all for fun, right?

Ants are clearly a Hive mentality, (a shared consciousness), which can not be used as a basis of comparison for either a herd mentality or a typical human mentality. Typically a hive has sets of members who are distinguished by their function, and occasionally by their physical structures. Ants primarily have workers, soldiers, nurses, queen attendants and a solitary “queen’ – which is an unfortunate misnomer. “She” is just an ignorant motionless blob egg making factory. More accurately, IT just pumps out eggs till It dies. The hive is not serving IT, any more than they serve one another. It is just individually more important for the hive survival than one of the other workers of which there are hundreds. So in fact we have an absolutely ‘flat organizational structure’ – to put this in modern corporate speak. It’s an organization where every member has a function; none is above or below any other. Everyone works equally, is fed equally, and dies equally. Sorta like the cells of your liver or kidneys. Each cell is aware of its function in the liver mentality so to speak. They all work together for a common goal.

Then we have the herd mentality, which describes a lot of the wild animal kingdom. There we have the typical alpha male, and/or dominant female structure. That seems to help the herd survival in a predator infested environment. But none of these structures can be used to justify or explain the need for a hierarchy in a human community. Only in a predator rich environment does this have any function – which is why the lizzies (psychopaths, for the un-initiated), keep us in a constant battle with ourselves. You know, race religion what ever divides. It keeps us looking for a savior, which role is always willingly filled by the nearest psychopath, who comes on the scene promising to slay all the old dragons and make it safe for the sheeple, in exchange for your life long enslavement, your first born and all yur money – whatta deal.

I think we could fairly pose the question: IF there were not the constant outside threat, would the sheeple still submit life and limb to a maniacal murdering despot tyrant. I say no.

As I recall David Icke did a few excellent videos specifically on this subject. And It’s an underlying theme of almost all his work. Ergo, until we cast off the psychopaths we will never comprehend our true nature as a Planet or a Species.

GL: Stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI)

"CIA DIRECTOR JOHN BRENNAN admits to spraying chemtrails in the air during a speech at the Council of Foreign Relations."

Well I don't hear any admission to spraying chemtrails but rather a hypothesis regarding SAI.

Recall the ceiling for commercial aircraft that everyone fingers for chemtrails is 41,000 feet or about 12.5 kilometers which is the lowest part of the stratosphere in temperate latitudes.

BTW: Thanks for a short video.

Jordan B Peterson

abguy4  “We devolved from lobsters in evolutionary history about 350 million years ago, from a common source.”

Jordan is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto which explains how he so clearly demolished the poor bimbo interviewer. It does not make him an authority on evolution or devolution.

Mr. Fix: "The so-called professor established his credentials as a "really smart guy" by demolishing the bimbo he was debating first, in a clear-cut win.

Then capitalizing on his "really smart" status, he uses a baseless argument to promote hierarchy, and evolution.

99% of the viewers will think that hierarchy and evolution  are established science, which is all that really matters."

BINGO

GL: "I'm not big on fins becoming wings, and fish crawling out of waters and going to the local bar to order a beer"

Birds almost certainly evolved from a group of dinosaurs that had feathers. I also don't like drinking with fish but poker is OK. Why should ants overthrow the Queen? She's their sister or half sister.

AM: Are the soldier termites whose mouthparts are so big and modified that they cannot feed themselves dominant or subservient? The defending soldier stragglers are left outside to die as the workers repair a breach in their mound. Social insects, so far as we are aware, operate on instinct and chemical signals.

While we're into humour, how about those fish species change sex. A school of clownfish has a hierarchy with a female at the top. When she dies the dominant male changes sex. Not sure if that's how they get the name.

Thanks @AM

I wasn't picking. I was genuinely confused. You don't get anything wrong, so I thought the issue was with me (as I usually do) Perhaps I need more Irish humour in my life.

Daughter #2 needs to come around more with the Irish man. In the meantime I have a snowglobe that has green glitter in it and a Leprechaun. Shakin' seems to make him glow.

Apologies - I refuse american spellcheck.

@Ruff - take a few days off. I am at liberty most of next week if you are in AK. Bathroom demo on the schedule. Can teach you how to shop LOL

I don't get what the deal is

With homeless people in California. All the tents look quite well set up. Rubbish bags on the road. Can't see where they get water from, but not degenerate that I can see.

We call that camping here & who is to say how long you should camp? If it is your only option, why not? Embarrassment of the people who sent you down that road? Should that figure at ALL?

Pretty civilised from short clips I have watched. yes

that's kinda not accurate. There are many reasons for that behavior. At the basest level I would call it a reproduction strategy. Thats why wolf packs only have a single mating pair. many large animals drive out maturing males to prevent inbreeding.  Horse it's the same. Males have to compete for the right to breed in the wild.

If nature didn't limit the number of offspring. The species will adapt their behavior to do it.  Cuz the results of not doing so are ghastly and endanger the species as a whole.

Anyone who made the mistake of getting a breeding pair of rodent will find out in just a few months what inbreeding does combined with a steady food source.

No excrement

Don't know what the builders are going to do - presume a portable toilet or extended lunch breaks...unless they can aim down the pipe while the toilet is missing..

I am going to relocate for a week, bur still need to deal with the elderly cats am & pm. They didn't do well on my 2 week holiday in October. Still trying to get them back into good condition.

Fussy is a good bargaining tactic.

I don't like crowded. You get better attention if there is only you there.

"Ignorance is evil"

I think he may have meant 'arrogance'. Probably a simple spelling mistake.

"Ignorance is bliss" would perhaps be more correct.

May I suggest, Mr. Fix that your assertion that I am pretty much on my own in support of the phenomenon of evolution as opposed to intelligent design, is a good example of ignorance.

I am in fact a big fan of intelligent design. Has it ever occurred to you that evolution may just be an integral component of intelligent design.

You profess to be anti religion just like I am.

What is your explanation for the reality of creation?

Are you still in N.Z.?

Have you left home and are thinking about becoming an illegal immigrant. Well don't worry I won't spill the beans to Donald or report you to Jacinda.

And don't forget to contact me if you are in Christchurch. I will do a meal and piss up (drinks) for you and your team.
