A2A with Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog

We took this week's webinar in a different direction and brought in our pal, Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog. I hope you can carve out some time to listen to this informative and wide-ranging discussion that focuses on the "mainstream media" and their efforts to control and manipulate the masses.

Again, I think you'll find this to be very informative and entertaining. Greg spent years behind the curtain at some of the largest "news" organizations on the planet so his wisdom and insights are second-to-none.

Gold open interest actually

Gold open interest actually rose yesterday +1,398 - I think the momo specs must be adding quite a few shorts right now.

Also the Nov contract saw + 1,016 !

Doug Caseys Historic Bull Market

he is probably correct but the timing is off just like everybody in this sector

he made that your tube in September so any day now here in November sound crazy

that said again, look at how fast US debt is growing; without debt this country cannot stay "open for business".

look at demand for physical. the real issue is who is on the buying side futures contracts? If they stop buying unless they would stand for delivery, the sellers could not be "naked". So its greed on the part of the longs that are the set up for the games.

Sorry for no post this morning

The issue with the site is that the servers reset themselves and Fd up the internal date and time. This has caused a very time-consuming issue for me to et everyone back online.

In the meantime, EVERYTHING you see in the gold and silver paper price is 100% directly related to HFTs taking cues from the moves in the POSX, USDJPY and bonds. Hopefully you can finally see once and for all that the daily price changes of gold ARE NOT related to physical supply/demand fundamentals.

Turd is it possible

To interview Stanley Drunkenmiller and get his perspective on why he sold all of his gold position a week ago. We often have people on here who agree with our perspective and we may be victims of group thought at times. I know their are a lot of people who don't see the value in gold and many of them are hacks. But Stanley is a reasoned investor who goes both ways in the market and I think it would be a great interview for you to probe his logic and perspective and to see if he pushhes back on any of your points.

Craig Hemke for Commodity Futures Trading Commission

From Wikipedia:

“The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is an independent agency of the US government created in 1974, that regulates futures and option markets.

The Commodities Exchange Act ("CEA"), 7 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., prohibits fraudulent conduct in the trading of futures contracts. The stated mission of the CFTC is to foster open, transparent, competitive, and financially sound markets, to avoid systemic risk, and to protect the market users and their funds, consumers, and the public from fraud, manipulation, and abusive practices related to derivatives and other products that are subject to the Commodity Exchange Act.[3] After the Financial crisis of 2007–08 and since 2010 with the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, CFTC has been transitioning to bring more transparency and stricter regulation to the multitrillion dollar swaps market.[4”]

There are five Commission seats authorized, one of which serves as Chairman. Presently, two of the five seats are vacant. If Trump is serious about “draining the swamp”, one place he can look is at the CFTC, which IMO has rarely if ever taken any constructive action to fulfill its mission.

Craig Hemke would be an excellent nominee to fill one of the vacant positions. His educational credentials, industry experience, broad knowledge of futures trading and personal insights would far surpass those of any political hack that might be appointed. Plus, as can be seen, he “cleans up good” and would be an improvement over the mullet and death skull that previously served.

Working in conjunction with new AG Shelton, we would see genuine fear struck into the hearts of those who have screwed over commodities investors for years. Imagine Liesman asking in a Friday morning interview on CNBS, “So, Commissioner Hemke. Whose ass is the CFTC recommending for prosecution this week?”

This is no joke. I’m deadly serious. Unless Craig says he wouldn’t accept such an appointment, we have enough articulate people on this board to join in a letter writing and telephone campaign to get him visibility as a potential candidate. My guess is that we could direct our efforts to certain luminaries, members of Congress and members of Trump’s transition team. Just not sure who would be the best individual(s) to begin with. Maybe Eric Sprott for starters?

Any ideas?

Chart Of The Day: Bondmageddon-----Foreign Central Banks Have...

.....Dumped $400 Billion USTs

Isn't this what Martin Armstrong said would happen ? The Bond market would ultimately collapse. Driving money into the stock market. Thus driving the stock markets higher.

Wouldn't it make sense in this scenario that the highly leveraged markets are liquidating. PM's appear to be behaving that way. Eventually the money will head towards PM's. Smart money will buy physical.

Isn't this what happened in 2008 before the crash ?

Great interview with Greg Hunter

Q: Might it be that Greg's high energy comes not from Red Bull as one member suggested but from his deep and abiding faith? The root of enthusiasm is en + theos -- God within. Thinking that's why his user-friendly business model works so well; low key and content-focused, not ad-focused.

The Buddhists have an interesting business model for prospective monks. You want to get into the monk business? Fine, here's your begging bowl. If you're good at the monk trade you eat each night.

Greg's doing what he's doing not for the revenue stream or as another job but because he believes it's the right thing to do; because he's such a good person intrinsically he's living comfortably.

Was sitting on the wrong thread all morning and left a message:

There aren't very many posters on here now, seems like the site is changing. Turd weren't you going to do a new web site? what happened to that idea?

Not being critical or anything just wondering what's going on. You seem to be a lot busier now Turd than you have ever been with all these new podcast and such but hey the best are always in demand, what do you expect. Keep Stacking All

Jeff Sessions AG Appointment

So much for prosecuting Wall Street. Best we can hope for is that Sessions will have the whole Justice Department chasing illegal aliens through construction sites or holding their elementary school age children ransom until they leave the country...if they haven't left already. Can't send money home if no jobs. Why be here. No politician from Alabama does anything about Wall Street thefts. Shouldn't expect a change. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Come on Sessions...Prove me wrong.

Site issues.

The last twenty or so last comments did not make it to the "recent comments" column on the right which has weird timing for some comments too.

Nov 18, 2016 - 1:50pm

Server clock out and reset

The recent comments issue was effected as well.

Charlie, the site has never been busier and has never had more members, I can assure you of that.

The site is being rebuilt and updated as part of a process that my Tech team is building for all of their sites. Thus, it is taking longer than you might expect. The goal is still to roll out the new and improved TFMR sometime in Q1 of next year. With all of the updates, we should hopefully avoid issues like we've had today.

Kanye: "If I had voted, I would have voted for Trump".

So, is it too soon to switch alleigences, and suck up to the winner? Apparently not, if you are a politician or celeb. Goes to show how deep integrity is in those "popular" people.

"... is Shinzo wearing a purple tie?"

No. Absolutely not !

It's called "Dulcolax brown".

Purple Tie is the New Rope

I love it, Rxman.  laugh (even though it could tank my interest in a rope factory)

(Lord knows, I will hate to see my Ralph Lauren 'purple label' purple tie go. sad Maybe I'll keep it for 'under-cover' work as a garrote. wink )

As for Soros and Hildabeast, I had thought until now it was a visual metaphor for, "Purple Haze All In My Brain" .
