TF Metals Report Blogs

Oooh, boy. Today is shaping up to be a real doozy. The rest of this week, too. It will be important to remain calm.

The Criminal Element

Another day, another Globex raid by the EE.

Doubling Down

I've got some good stuff for you tonight. Let's get started.

Ready To Walk On The Wild Side?

As we get set to begin what is certain to be a wild week, perhaps we should let Lou Reed set the tone.

The BS Thickens

It's the first Friday of the month so we were once again treated to another edition of The Shill, The Coug and LIESman this morning. Truth be told, I couldn't stand to watch. I flipped on CNBS at 8:29 and turned it off at 8:31.

Through The Wormhole

Wow, what a nice day this turned out to be. When I hit the rack last night, it appeared today was going to be a real doozy. Instead, the metals reversed at around 4:00 a.m. and then rallied like crazy on the Comex. Did I wake up in some kind of alternate, parallel universe?

OK, it appears that the coast is clearing. The entire MFing Global fiasco had the potential to seriously pressure the commodity markets this looks like we're going to survive.

OK, after the madness of yesterday, isn't it nice to have some relative peace and quiet this morning? It's guaranteed NOT to last as we have another fun and exciting FOMC statement and Bernank news conference this afternoon. Oh well, for now, enjoy the quiet.

Turd on Time Monk Radio

For some unknown reason, the nice people at the WebbotForum wanted to interview me again. Recorded last Friday evening, the links are presented below.

MFing Global

Man, this last 36 hours has been no fun at all. But, at least I don't work for MFing Global. Most of all, I feel terribly for the good employees from the former Lind-Waldock. Sucks. It just plain sucks.
