Here comes Chief Goon Powell, in all his glory. Between now and Wednesday there will be some ups and some downs but the real action won't get going until we see those mid-week Fedlines.

In the meantime, I guess it's nice to see green prices on a Monday morning. That's better than the alternative but it doesn't mean much. You can be certain that there will be some downdrafts and pullbacks over the next 52 hours, as well.

And why are the Comex metals higher this morning? Bonds, the POSX and the CNY are mostly flat so I guess we should be happy to be up a few bucks. As you...
