You Want Fries With That?

Look, not to get all morbid or anything, but life comes at you, good and bad, and it is not always about Fibonacci retracements, options expiration, open interest and the FED. On the good side, we have our excellent proprietor, Mr. TF, celebrating a lifelong accomplishment, his 20th wedding anniversary! Hooray!

But on the other end of the spectrum, we see another loss of life, which from any viewpoint, is a tragedy.

But, there is a point of reference here, that puts events into a different perspective, one that is critical to understand in this perilous time we find ourselves in.

MOPE Lesson

Read these news accounts, listen to the audio and watch the video:

Now, ask whether you were emotionally moved, even slightly, by what you read or saw or heard.

Now, ask why certain facts were put in the story, and other facts were not.

Why was the picture of the 20 year old baby momma holding the bastard child of the decedent shown?

Why was there any mention of “Black Lives Matter?”

Why was there no immediate juxtaposition of the family members’ statements:

“He wouldn’t have done something like what they said he did,” said Justice Ramirez, Sigala’s girlfriend and mother of his daughter. “He knew he had to take care of his daughter,” and ““The police are making false statements,” said Nicole Hernandez, Ramirez’s stepmother. “He was murdered.”

with the video proof of the decedent entering the Walmart, handling the firearm (bbgun replica), stealing it, and the audio of a concerned citizen calling into authorities to report the same Darwin-Award nominee apparently loading the gun while riding towards the Carl’s Jr., multiple eyewitness accounts of the attempted robbery and the justifiable protection of life by the heroic off-duty LAPD officer who removed an undesireable from further polluting the gene pool?

Why was there no factual discussion of why the decedent was not working at 3:15 p.m., even though is family members’ claim “he knew he had to take care of his daughter?”

Why was there no mention that this particular use of firearms for defensive purposes, totally in line with the leftist progressives’ perverted reading of the Second Amendment that firearms are only for defensive purposes and not for purposes of resisting governmental tyranny, was justified and saved lives?

Where was any mention of thanks for the bravery and heroism for the officer, who, off duty, had no obligation to protect anyone in that Carl’s Jr., let alone end what was certainly a life-threatening moment for all inside that store?

Did I write this with a judgmental point of view? You God Damn Right I Did! [said in my best Jack Nicholson voice, ].

Am I being too harsh on the snowflake Hispanic youth, only trying to “take care of his daughter” by engaging in criminal conduct?

Am I being xenophobic by pointing out the ethnicity of the decedent?

Am I jumping to conclusions to support a point of view?

Am I asking pertinent questions?

Well, decide for yourself.

Prepare accordingly.

Zombies gotta eat too!

Great thought provoking article as always Cal!

As a white male, I'm told I don't have a right to have an opinion on these types of issues. When I try to have an opinion, unless I puck out liberal rhetoric I'm called/labeled a racist...

Whatever is being planned, I feel comfortable in knowing WHO the scapegoat will be...

For the record: I like my balls and I plan on keeping them! My way of life, my children's way of life is being threatened and I will act accordingly!

Pokémon GO–LD by Egon Von

Pokémon GO–LD

by Egon Von Greyerz, Gold Switzerland:

Real GOLD versus Pokémon GO? That’s a simple choice for most people because shortly after launch there are already more than 30 million users of the game Pokémon GO (PG). Gold has not for a long time attracted the same interest but that is likely to change in the next few months and years. Not that gold and PG in any way are competing in the same market place.

In today’s virtual world, a new ground-breaking virtual game will always attract more interest from the average individual than gold. Whilst gold is a barbarous relic as John Maynard Keynes called it, PG is what the world is all about today, fantasy and dreams. Also PG is so real that the players don’t know if it is fiction or factual. What makes PG different is that it is played in the real world, walking around using your mobile phone’s GPS and trying to find virtual monsters like Pikachu and Jigglypuff who are in a street near you. Players are chasing down the street running into real cars and fences.

Independent Media Heads to

Independent Media Heads to New York to Confront NBC Over MSM Lies

by James Corbett, The International Forecaster:

During the chaos of breaking news events like the failed coup in Turkey last month, reliable, factual accounts of what is happening on the ground are especially important. If the MSM had reported that President Erdogan had been killed or captured by the coup faction, for instance, or that he had fled the country, that information could demoralize the public and deter them from the types of protests that ultimately stopped the coup in its tracks.

Well, as it turns out, that’s exactly what the MSM was reporting during the key hours when the coup was unfolding and the 24/7 news channels were scrambling to cover the story. Specifically, MSNBC reported that “a senior US military source tells NBC News that US officials are hearing that Turkish President Erdogan, refused landing rights in Istanbul, is reported to be seeking asylum in Germany.” The on-air anchor then editorialized that this “can’t be good for Erdogan.”

Thanks Ca. Lawyer...............................................

I got so sick of our local news here in So.Cal I canceled my cable service a couple years ago and have not missed a thing. The blatant attempts to mislead and provoke an irrational emotional response are amazing. I see he supported his local community as a LA Dodgers fan. I can't quite make out his hand gesture probably just some form of community pride. The part of the story that bothers me most as a resident of So Cal. it is almost impossible to get a ccw and protect oneself while in the community. I guess the officer should have been a good victim and handed his wallet over to this genius and the family and media would be ignoring this story. Thanks again CaL!!

DANGER: Many Americans Cannot Think

The spin on the 'news' is blatant. The puppet masters don't seem to care. Apparently, they see that their decades long (actually over more than a century) efforts to dumb down the American people have been successful. Their tools for accomplishing this were & are the 'schools'/universities and owned media.

Even have a conversation with an 'educated' person with a college degree. They may know their narrow specialty or business - but you'll likely hear all kinds of nonsense from them regarding economics, politics, and social issues. Its common that libs talk 'social justice', and so-called conservatives worship all things military. Neither group can have an informed and rational discussion on anything. They are ruled by emotion filled propaganda (as illustrated in the links on this robbery story).

Investigative journalist Jon Rappoport did a series of interviews with a man he called 'Medavoy' who was a retired high level propagandist for the globalists. In his later years Medavoy was having regrets. He had participated in fabricating the narratives that were dumbing people down. He wondered if they had gone too far. There must be a minimal level of rationality, he said. If the population is too stupid, you produce an unpredictable mob that cannot be controlled. Mad Max time. There is total chaos and the whole civilization is burned to the ground with no one escaping.

Well stated. And, another thing to throw into the mix is the CCW issue.

In San Bernardino County, the local sheriff is an avid Second Amendment adherent, that is, he actually believes it means what it says. His personal philosophy is that CCW holders actually ASSIST law enforcement by their very nature that the criminal does not know who is armed or not. And, since San Bernardino County is huge geographically, it is often the case that law enforcement may not immediately respond due to the long response distances. In that scenario, this particular sheriff embraces the CCW concept, and appreciates all of us that have taken the time, money, and training, and have suffered through and successfully completed the background process to obtain our CCW's. This sheriff looks upon the CCW holders as extensions of law enforcement.

In Los Angeles County, the opposite is true. Unless one is law enforcement, it is practically impossible to obtain a CCW.

If that off duty cop was, say, an off duty Home Depot worker, there would have been an armed robbery. The family of the decedent ignores that point, what a surprise.

Another point I should have made better is that the slant of the story could have been so different, sending a reader's emotions in a different direction, if only the perspective of the writer was altered. For example, say the headline was "Off Duty Officer Heroically Saves Women and Children from Armed Robber." What would the emotional response have been then? But, see how the slant of the story was all biased to evoke an emotional response designed to inflame the already simmering race/class tensions against the police, and "authority." See how the article references recent protest messages from the Hispanic and black communities? Who is stirring up the pot? And why?

The fake narrative that so many trot out is that the newspapers and broadcast media are only sensationalizing the story to sell it and get advertisers. That is bullshit. The headline I wrote is even more likely to do that.

So, who is pushing the agenda to incite and foment active race hostilities? And why now?

Why not use the article to help counter those pressures, by showing the police officer acted heroically, like we have all grown up to believe, and thus mute a little of the criticism being heaped by race-baiters upon the LE community?

Is it all just a big divide and conquer show, designed to permanently keep people divided, to control them?

Anyhow, thanks for the post.
