You Want Fries With That?

Look, not to get all morbid or anything, but life comes at you, good and bad, and it is not always about Fibonacci retracements, options expiration, open interest and the FED. On the good side, we have our excellent proprietor, Mr. TF, celebrating a lifelong accomplishment, his 20th wedding anniversary! Hooray!

But on the other end of the spectrum, we see another loss of life, which from any viewpoint, is a tragedy.

But, there is a point of reference here, that puts events into a different perspective, one that is critical to understand in this perilous time we find ourselves in.

MOPE Lesson

Read these news accounts, listen to the audio and watch the video:

Now, ask whether you were emotionally moved, even slightly, by what you read or saw or heard.

Now, ask why certain facts were put in the story, and other facts were not.

Why was the picture of the 20 year old baby momma holding the bastard child of the decedent shown?

Why was there any mention of “Black Lives Matter?”

Why was there no immediate juxtaposition of the family members’ statements:

“He wouldn’t have done something like what they said he did,” said Justice Ramirez, Sigala’s girlfriend and mother of his daughter. “He knew he had to take care of his daughter,” and ““The police are making false statements,” said Nicole Hernandez, Ramirez’s stepmother. “He was murdered.”

with the video proof of the decedent entering the Walmart, handling the firearm (bbgun replica), stealing it, and the audio of a concerned citizen calling into authorities to report the same Darwin-Award nominee apparently loading the gun while riding towards the Carl’s Jr., multiple eyewitness accounts of the attempted robbery and the justifiable protection of life by the heroic off-duty LAPD officer who removed an undesireable from further polluting the gene pool?

Why was there no factual discussion of why the decedent was not working at 3:15 p.m., even though is family members’ claim “he knew he had to take care of his daughter?”

Why was there no mention that this particular use of firearms for defensive purposes, totally in line with the leftist progressives’ perverted reading of the Second Amendment that firearms are only for defensive purposes and not for purposes of resisting governmental tyranny, was justified and saved lives?

Where was any mention of thanks for the bravery and heroism for the officer, who, off duty, had no obligation to protect anyone in that Carl’s Jr., let alone end what was certainly a life-threatening moment for all inside that store?

Did I write this with a judgmental point of view? You God Damn Right I Did! [said in my best Jack Nicholson voice, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDfRd0IZ-Vo ].

Am I being too harsh on the snowflake Hispanic youth, only trying to “take care of his daughter” by engaging in criminal conduct?

Am I being xenophobic by pointing out the ethnicity of the decedent?

Am I jumping to conclusions to support a point of view?

Am I asking pertinent questions?

Well, decide for yourself.

Prepare accordingly.
