The Latest from Batchelor and Cohen

Wed, Jun 8, 2016 - 1:29pm

Another must listen from John and Steve regarding the latest worsening of The New Cold War.

Here are the show notes from Mr. Batchelor's website:

Anakonda 16 on the Russian Frontier. Stephen F. Cohen. NYU, Princeton,

"...The general said Russia was needed in the international community; however, this was impossible at the moment due to the country's "sole respect for power."

"He emphasised that about 7,000 Russian troops were stationed in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, two territories viewed by the international community as Georgian regions occupied by Russia.

"In Hodges' words, about 20,000 Russian troops are currently present in the Crimea peninsula occupied by Russia, and about 20 Ukrainian soldiers were last week killed during clashes with Moscow-supported separatists in Eastern Ukraine regardless of ceasefire agreements.

"This is a serious challenge; this is not an academic exercise and the only way we keep it from becoming a real crisis is if we stick together, the Alliance stick together and demonstrate that we are committed," the US general noted.

"He added that Lithuania had been precisely meeting the commitments assumed during the last NATO Summit in Wales by not only boosting defense spending but also by organising exercises and developing its Armed Forces.

"Ahead of the NATO Summit in Warsaw, the three Baltic States seek deployment of an international Allied battalion of about 1,000 soldiers in each of their territories. NATO's Military Committee has given a green light to stationing of the units in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland...."

The Saker

I've been following the Vineyard of The Saker for sometime now. I recommend his book " The Essential Saker ". You can buy it here.

But since I hate Amazon you can also purchase it here.

Victoria Nuland and Hitlery

Both are even more like the Vietnamese "black clap".

Also, both are lying thieves and bad news for anybody worth more than $1,000....which is not to say they wouldn't pick your pocket for $10 on a slow day.

A few months ago a couple of relatives mentioned a t.v. program they watched that 'showed the horrible things those Russians did invading over there'. They didn't recall where "over there" was till I mentioned Ukraine. -- I gently explained to them what is most likely to have actually happened in Ukraine - Nuland, that Ukraine has been associated with Russia for a thousand years, the US moves to encircle Russia after the fall of the USSR, the US withdrawl from the anti ballistic missile treaty & breaking of promises not to expand NATO toward the Russian border, the Russian defense of their only close warm water naval port with rights granted under treaty, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, the American media and 'education' system, have made people particularly ignorant and stupid. It was in classrooms and millions of living rooms filled with the drone of the boob tube that the ground was prepared for these horrible things to be done without a whimper of protest from the American citzenry - or even much curiosity to dig deeper into these subjects. The various 'voices of authority' tell them what to think & say, and that is perfectly fine with them.

Lord help us.

Point out the MSM Bastards!

Why aren't the American people being told that Russia is threatening nuclear war on NATO forces in eastern europe? Just report it damn it, regardless of how they play the who's right or wrong game.
At least the American public would become aware of the threat and learn of the consequences. For the first time in years, the whole family would start asking questions and demanding answers.... answers that our scum sucking administration is not prepared nor willing to otherwise answer.

Hitlary is in the clutches of a enormous death force (who and what it is ain't exactly clear) but it involves enormous money and power that has absolutely nothing to do with democracy, the republic or the constitution. We've already seen her handiwork in Libya, Iraq and the Ukraine. We've heard it in her speeches. I am convinced that her presidency would result in the greatest disaster in our history and it is the only reason that I would support a Trump presidency. Not my first choice but it appears I may have no other. Strange when an old atheist like me wants to whisper "God Help Us - all of us!"

You Will be in Ruins

I have in the last week or so been reading up on early Christianity in Roman times and found this comment which refers to our times....
"We know from independent records that Christians sought their own martyrdom. We know that rulers begged them to have mercy on themselves. We know that Christians destroyed temples and statues. We know that Christians were frequently accused of arson. In fact, apart from the miracles, both sources tell the same story: how some Christians sought and finally achieved their own deaths.

Christian crimes such as arson seem to have been motivated by apocalyptic literature like the Book of Revelations. The idea was that they could trigger not just the destruction of Rome but the end of the world, and hence the promised day of Judgement which would ensure their place in heaven. (If this sounds improbable then it is worth bearing in mind that there are many Christians today in the USA, including influential politicians, who hold almost identical views. So called “End-Timers” will freely admit that they seek to trigger a Third World War, since this will, they believe, herald the End of the World, and the consequent Day of Judgement.)"
[My highlighting]

IMO the great hope for humanity to avoid a major nuclear conflagration is for the word to get across to the sensible American people, to know and understand the risks of today, to talk about them and 'spread the word'.
Unfortunately, I am coming to believe that in America there are far too many 'religious maniacs' who are talking the narrative and even today seek "The End Times", and that there is a need for the voice of sensible, moderate people to make themselves heard in discussions at home, in the community and on online forums.

That's an interesting point JS

My time in Europe gave me a fresh perspective that the world was a much more evil, secular and faithless place centuries ago. All those claiming that "God's judgment" is coming along any day now are just selling something. If He were truly pissed off, He'd have shut it all down back in the 1300s. That He didn't do it then leads me to believe that He won't do it now, either.

It was really bad during Roman times, Dark Ages, Inquisition...

Now is not so bad, unless you live Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan!

Matthew 24:42 T herefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come.

Matthew 24:3 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Mark 13:32 But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
