A Public Service Post

Tue, Sep 30, 2014 - 1:28pm

We've been following the Ebola story pretty closely these past few months then a headline today made my hair stand on end. Thus this new post.

Look, I know I don't have to start from scratch and tell you how bad this is with a bunch of links. If you're a regular visitor to Turdville, you already know and you've already begun to take precautions. The latest update on the potential spread of the Ebola virus can be found here, from ZH 10 days ago: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-09-19/exponential-ebola-cases-now-do...

At about the same time, a story surfaced that the U.S. State Department had put in an order for 160,000 HazMat suits. Here's the story from InfoWars: https://www.infowars.com/u-s-state-department-orders-160000-ebola-hazmat... And here's a story from The Daily Mail: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2756832/State-Department-orders...

An important caveat to this story should be read next. This "order" might be just a "bid" and the State Department could be purchasing them strictly for their USAID arm: https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2014/sep/19/blog-postin... & https://www.marketwatch.com/story/lakeland-industries-announces-global-a...

The latest, US-based Ebola scare is still unfolding in Dallas and needs monitoring: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2014/09/30/a-dalla...

And there is some potential "good news" from the US Center for Disease Control (CDC): https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/30/ebola-over-in-nige...

HOWEVER, when I saw the headline below earlier today, ole Turd's head started spinning:

From the article:

"CBS46 News has confirmed the Centers for Disease Control has issued guidelines to U.S. funeral homes on how to handle the remains of Ebola patients. If the outbreak of the potentially deadly virus is in West Africa, why are funeral homes in America being given guidelines?

The three-page list of recommendations include instructing funeral workers to wear protective equipment when dealing with the remains since Ebola can be transmitted in postmortem care. It also instructs to avoid autopsies and embalming."

Look, I have absolutely no idea if Ebola will spread globally. It probably won't and all will be well. But when the US State Department is considering 160,000 new HazMat suits and 5,000 bodybags....and when the US CDC is warning about 500,000 casualties and issuing guidelines to funeral homes...you might want to start taking this stuff seriously.

This does not mean that The End Is Near and it does not mean that you immediately need to hole up in a bunker somewhere. But if you're not thinking about the possibility that you may need to stay inside and home for 30-60 days at some point soon, you are simply being irresponsible. Now is the time to pay attention and remain alert. Now is the time to give full consideration to whatever action plan you and your family may need in the event of an emergency. Now is the time to stock up and/or resupply whatever emergency items you regularly keep on hand anyway.

Be mindful. Be cautious but not frightened. Always remain situationally aware and continue to prepare accordingly.

A second Dallas patient

A second Dallas patient:

from the article:

All who have been in close contact with the man diagnosed are being monitored as a precaution, Zachary Thompson, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services, said in a morning interview with WFAA-TV.

"Let me be real frank to the Dallas County residents: The fact that we have one confirmed case, there may be another case that is a close associate with this particular patient," he said. "So this is real. There should be a concern, but it's contained to the specific family members and close friends at this moment."

Death by doctors, and the drugs they push:

Prescription Drugs Kill Over 100,000 People Each Year, Are You Being Medicated Incorrectly?

May 7, 2013 by . 79 Comments.

“Death by medicine is a twenty-first century epidemic, and America’s war on drugs is clearly directed at the wrong enemy.” –Dr. Joseph Mercola [2]

I have briefly focused on mushrooms and cannabis as medicine sources. Now, it is only fair to shine the spotlight on the other side of the medicinal spectrum: prescription drugs. One could go through and list the pros and cons of each individual prescription drug or, to save some time, one could first approach prescription drugs as a whole. Doing so exposes an alarming truth, ringing louder than the individual benefits of each drug. Prescription drugs are currently responsible for more deaths annually than illegal drugs. According to Tom Frieden, the CDC director himself, “it’s a big problem, and it’s getting worse [3].”

Out of the 783,936 annual deaths from conventional medicine mistakes, approximately 106,000 of those are the result of prescription drug use[1]. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, two-hundred and ninety people in the United States are killed by prescription drugs every day [4].

Even if prescription drugs do not literally kill a patient though, they slowly kill their mind and body. This alters their ability to innately feel deeply and compassionately, the patient can be stripped piece by piece of his inner awareness and inner consciousness, the very essence of their being.

Death by Rx can be sentenced in the form of many, often times subtle masks. Since it happens slowly, the clouding of the patient’s once clear brain goes unnoticed as the fog sets in so densely that he is no longer able to decipher if this new state of consciousness is “normal” or if it is better or less than it should be; rather, it just is. The body system is inevitably forced to adjust to the foreign chemicals the patient pops in his mouth every morning, activating the conditioning of acceptance of his new found state of awareness as if it is as it has always been. As if this shift in consciousness ceased to ever occur. Little by little he fades, until the place where his mind now resides is one far away.

How Bad Could It Get? US Government Order Of 160,000 HazMat Suits Gives A Clue

Now that Ebola is officially in the US on an uncontrolled basis, the two questions on everyone’s lips are i) who will get sick next and ii) how bad could it get?

We don’t know the answer to question #1 just yet, but when it comes to the second one, a press release three weeks ago from Lakeland Industries, a manufacturer and seller of a “comprehensive line of safety garments and accessories for the industrial protective clothing market” may provide some insight into just how bad the US State Department thinks it may get. Because when the US government buys 160,000 hazmat suits specifically designed against Ebola, just ahead of the worst Ebola epidemic in history making US landfall, one wonders: what do they know the we don’t?

From Lakeland Industries:

Lakeland Industries, Inc. (LAKE), a leading global manufacturer of industrial protective clothing for industry, municipalities, healthcare and to first responders on the federal, state and local levels, today announced the global availability of its protective apparel for use in handling the Ebola virus. In response to the increasing demand for specialty protective suits to be worm by healthcare workers and others being exposed to Ebola, Lakeland is increasing its manufacturing capacity for these garments and includes proprietary processes for specialized seam sealing, a far superior technology for protecting against viral hazards than non-sealed products.

Lakeland stands ready to join the fight against the spread of Ebola,” said Christopher J. Ryan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lakeland Industries. “We understand the difficulty of getting appropriate products through a procurement system that in times of crisis favors availability over specification, and we hope our added capacity will help alleviate that problem. With the U.S. State Department alone putting out a bid for 160,000 suits, we encourage all protective apparel companies to increase their manufacturing capacity for sealed seam garments so that our industry can do its part in addressing this threat to global health.

Of course, purchases by the US government are bought and paid for by taxpayers. For everyone else there’s $1200 mail-order delivery:

That said… 160,000 HazMats for a disease that is supposedly not airborne? Mmmk.

Rhode Island Child Dies From Complications Of Enterovirus That Has Been Affecting Kids Nationwide

by CBS NEWS | OCTOBER 1, 2014

The Rhode Island Health Department says a child has died from complications of an unusual respiratory virus that has been affecting children across the U.S.

Health officials said Wednesday that the 10-year-old girl died last week of a staph infection associated with the enterovirus 68 infection, which it called “a very rare combination.”

“We are all heartbroken to hear about the death of one of Rhode Island’s children,” Dr. Michael Fine, director of the Rhode Island Department of Health, said in a statement. “Many of us will have EV-D68. Most of us will have very mild symptoms and all but very few will recover quickly and completely. The vast majority of children exposed to EV-D68 recover completely.”

The Valley Breeze identified the girl as 10-year-old Emily Ortrando.

Department spokeswoman Christina Batastini says there have been no deaths in Rhode Island directly attributed to enterovirus 68. She said she could not say where the child lived or was treated.

What do we really know?

I mean REALLY know?

The MSM has reported Ebola. And Enterovirus. I am sure that both are in play.

What if this whole virus thing is a coverup, so the government can get geared up for what is more likely happen--an EMP attack.

We know (we think) that the government created and owns Ebola. We have one or two (known/reported) cases out of 350,000,000 people in the U.S.

How many will it take for the government to have the full acquiescence of the people to "protect" them with quarantines, martial law, etc.? 10 cases? 100?

What perfect cover to get all your ducks in a row, all your militia placed strategically right before the "main event."

They would have no excuse beforehand; people might question and even demonstrate ala Hong Kong if the govy declared it out of the blue . . .

If the govy knows what is coming, they will do whatever it takes to get their people, equipment, plans, etc. in the right place well ahead of the planned event.

Yes, I think like they do--I guess that makes me a wild-eyed conspiracy theorist. But, look at all the preps made before 9/11.

Funeral Homes

"Why are they doing this if there is “no chance” that the disease will spread widely?"

Because if they didn't "do this" the question would be "why didn't they do this?" It is a no win with some folks. When you deal with humans, you deal with unpredictable, unreliable, faulty creatures who always think they are smarter than everyone else around them.

If they didn't think they were smarter...our suicide rates would be astronomical...sad

FWIW.......When doctors go on strike

Whenever medical doctors go on strike, a most interesting phenomenon occurs - death rates go down! In 1976 in Bogota, Columbia medical doctors went on strike for 52 days, with only emergency care available. The death rate dropped by 35%. In 1976 in Los Angeles County a similar doctors' strike resulted in an 18% drop in mortality. As soon as the strike was over, the death rate went back to normal. A 50% decrease in mortality occurred in Israel in 1973 when there was a one month doctor's strike!

CDC Director: Obama Has "Leaned Forward" to Deal With Ebola

Well! We can all relax now! The CDC Director, clearly a non-partisan (cough) scientist simply interested containing the outbreak, has reassured us that Obama has "leaned forward" to take care of the Ebola crisis. I feel sooo much better - we're in such good hands, obviously!

I mean, I know when someone has been "leaning forward" it means they are hunched over their desk and brainstorming with a vengeance as Einstein once did, working out complex formulas to find the miracle solution! "Leaning forward" is, by and far, the only posture a thinking man ever takes to "get things done." And we know how difficult it is, to lean forward for hours upon hours at a time. Thank you, Obama, for taking care of things! I'm so relieved! I'm going to go throw out my hand sanitizer now!

"In West Africa, we are surging the response not only of CDC where we already have more than 130 people in the field, but also throughout the U.S. government. The president has leaned forward to make sure we're acting very proactively there, and the Defense Department is on the ground already strengthening the response," Centers for Disease Control Director Dr. Tom Frieden told reporters in a Tuesday evening briefing.

"Lean Forward" is the slogan of MSNBC and was displayed in the upper third of the screen during the network's coverage of the CDC press conference.

Oh my, that is excellent news!

I leaned forward a couple of weeks ago, and my goldfish did the same a few days after that. Spinach looks great when leaning forward, but broccoli less-so. My grandmother once lent me £500, and I noticed she lent forward as she handed it to me, but I don't think that's quite the same. It was a nice try though.

Where could this all lead? "Leaning Forward" parties perhaps? Up till 3am, leaning-forward.

Multiple nations stopped flights over a month ago

Obama Still Refuses to Halt Flights From Ebola Hot Zone

by kit[at]infowars[dot]com (KIT DANIELS) | INFOWARS.COM | OCTOBER 1, 2014

After U.S. officials disclosed another potential case of Ebola in Dallas, Texas, this morning, the question remains whether the Obama administration will finally stop flights from Ebola-stricken countries as multiple nations did over a month ago.

In mid-August, Korean Air and Kenya Airways announced they were halting flights to the West African countries ravaged by Ebola, and British Airways and Air France also decided to suspend service to the Ebola hot zone a few weeks later.

“France is recommending that its citizens leave Sierra Leone and Liberia, two of the countries hardest hit by the worst ever outbreak of the disease,” Jessica Plautz reported for Mashable. “The government said the increasing spread of the disease prompted its request that the airline to suspend flights.”

Yet the Obama administration made no such request to U.S. airlines and government flights, despite the Center of Disease Control advising Americans to avoid “non-essential travel” to Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea several weeks ago.

“CDC urges all US residents to avoid non-essential travel to Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone because of unprecedented outbreaks of Ebola in those countries,” the CDC travel health advisory states. “CDC recommends that travelers to these countries protect themselves by avoiding contact with the blood and body fluids of people who are sick with Ebola.”

The patient in Dallas, Texas, who the CDC confirmed as the first case of Ebola virus diagnosed in the United States, flew into the U.S. on Sept. 20 after contracting the disease in Liberia.

This morning, Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Zachary Thompson said officials are currently monitoring another person who they fear may have Ebola after coming into contact with the patient currently being treated in Dallas.

“Let me be real frank to the Dallas County residents: the fact that we have one confirmed case, there may be another case that is a close associate with this particular patient,” Dallas County Health and Human Services Director Zachary Thompson said Wednesday in an interview with local ABC affiliate WFAA. “So this is real.”

So far, the White House has done little to prevent the spread of Ebola in the U.S. and may have in factencouraged an outbreak by sending thousands of U.S. troops into West Africa earlier this month who could potentially contract the disease.

I always like his take on things. He seems to "get it" as far a psy-opps go. I never really know what the true agenda is, but there are many possibilities and multiple goals that can be achieved. Maybe they just want everyone to be prepped to take the flu-vaccine.

Five Dallas ISD students at four schools may have had contact with the Ebola patient in Dallas and stayed home from school as a precaution, according to a district email (see below) sent to employees today.

The kids are not showing symptoms of having the virus.

The students, who were not named, attend Tasby Middle School, Hotchkiss Elementary School, Dan D. Rogers Elementary and Conrad High School. The schools are in the Vickery Meadow area in northeast Dallas where many refugee families and other immigrants have settled in apartments.

DISD is also monitoring Lowe Elementary since it is connected to Tasby.

Mikey Terrell, a Conrad volunteer who lives in downtown Dallas, said news was spreading around the school that the man with Ebola lived or was visiting family nearby.

“It’s just getting around, just a few minutes ago,” he said today. He said he’d read about symptoms and prevention tips.

“I’ll just keep my hands to myself,” he said.

"All Is Well"

The combination of US#1 went to a funeral in Liberia (hugging, kissing, hand shakes and tears), kids exposed to #1, kids went to four different schools, adults exposed at home, #1 sent home from emergency room (while contagious) and who knows what the authorities have not told us or lied to us about. I would bet my stack that this will NOT be contained.

If additional people from the plane get sick, and it is highly likely, they could be anywhere in the US.

Besides the above case, there could well be others, already here or on the way.

Ebola is obviously highly contagious and 3,000 to more than 6,000 people have died to prove it during this outbreak.

Officialdom will not quarantine people who came in contact with Ebola patient

CDC and Texas Officials Allow Ebola to Spread in Dallas

Five students within the family circle of the Dallas Ebola patient will not be quarantined despite the fact they may be in the incubation cycle of the deadly disease.

From the Dallas Observer:

They are being kept at home for the 21-day incubation cycle of the virus, but are not being quarantined. While CDC and local health officials are in close interaction with the families, they will be allowed to leave their homes until or if they exhibit symptoms.

The Ebola infection is contagious during the incubation period. This, however, is disputed by the World Health Organization.

Recent studies indicate that in the earlier stages of the Ebola infection, the virus can be present on the surface of the skin of the person who is infected with the virus.

Instead of taking effective measures to prevent the spread of the disease, officialdom in Texas is currently engaged in a public relations campaign:

City and state health officials are also beginning a door-to-door campaign to reassure residents near the schools that, unless Patient Zero puked (sic) on them recently, they should be fine.

On Wednesday Texas Governor Rick Perry said Texas officials are confident the virus is under control in Dallas despite the lack of quarantine.

From TWC News:

The governor said none of the family members have shown symptoms, meaning even if they did have contact with Duncan, they are not contagious themselves.

A clear and present danger:

So far, the United States government is doing everything within its power to spread this disease, not contain it.

They will not release the name of “patient one”, they will not discuss his travel history, in fact, no names have been released, so it is entirely plausible that there are in fact many, many people already in the incubation period, and they could not possibly know it.

What you are witnessing is an engineered pandemic, nothing short of premeditated genocide.

As always, our African illegal alien who resides in the White House, will decide the proper course of action to inflict as much damage on the United States as possible, as he has always done since day one.

Nobody is stopping him, and nobody is doing anything about “containing” the pandemic.

I wonder if the “Plunge Protection Team” called in sick today…

DALLAS (AP) — The first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States told a nurse on his initial hospital visit that he had recently been in an area affected by the deadly disease, but that information was not widely shared, a hospital official said Wednesday.

Thomas Eric Duncan went to a Dallas emergency room Friday and explained that he was visiting the U.S. from Liberia. He was sent home with antibiotics, according to his sister, Mai Wureh.
