How Fake Feminism Has Turned Women Into Sheeple

Fri, Aug 8, 2014 - 1:59pm

Note: We do not normally delve into issues like abortion on Main Street. Turd has made an exception for this article. I'm doing this article by request of Stackaloha. It's going to be controversial. Deal with it.

Women are becoming violent. Did you ever ask yourself why?

Never mind about the apparent increase in creepy cases of young women going on murder sprees. Never mind about female teachers abusing their students sexually (male and female). Never mind about young women trolling Craigslist with their boyfriends to find men to rape and murder.

Even on a basic level, when it comes to political discourse, women are foaming at the mouth:

Abortion Activist Attacks Pro-Lifers

Assaulting other women:

UC Santa Barbara Professor Assaults Young Pro-Life Activist

Or acting like proverbial harpies:

Video unavailable

Or how about the woman from the Russian art group "Voina" whose idea of performance art was to walk into a grocery store and steal a whole chicken by shoving it up her vagina? (Warning: As you scroll down the page at this link you will see a photo of said chicken. It is probably about as modest of a photo for such a thing as you can get, but it's still not for the faint of heart.)

Why aren't these women up in arms over NSA spying? Or paying attention to the loss of freedom around the world? Why aren't they outraged over all the sex trafficking (i.e., sex slavery) across our borders? What are they doing about Boko Harem except posting an occasional tweet?

What has happened to the hearts and souls of women? How have so many young women gotten so dark and ugly?

I have a theory, and I'm sorry this is not politically correct. Let me state for the record that I was a very active feminist and a member of NOW and WAC (Women's Action Coalition) in my youth. WAC thought it was "in your face" at the time, but compared to modern feminists, it was pretty tame. (Our idea of a "radical" action was to hire a boat for the Christmas light parade and put feminist slogans up in lights and yell at people through a bullhorn. Stupid and rude, but no nudity was involved.)

I went to two pro-choice marches on Washington - one with college friends and one with my boyfriend straight out of college. I kept my round, purple "KEEP ABORTION LEGAL" sign from the march and hung it up in our bedroom. (Boy, was that some bad karma. It was basically a big sign saying "no babies here!" and now that I'm in my 40s and childless, I can't say I'm happy with what I've reaped.)

I've evolved, and I'm now what I'd call politically pro-choice and spiritually pro-life. And I'm only politically pro-choice because I think abortion will happen regardless as to whether it's legal or not, and it might as well be "safe" (or rather, "safer" - it can actually be dangerous).

I've thankfully never had an abortion. But I've been a victim of the abortion mindset, which places sex above commitment and gives men a reason to treat all women like prostitutes.

Part of what changed my mind about abortion was reading testimonials of women who have had abortions, and had their lives ripped apart, only to realize they made the biggest mistake of their lives. Some women who have had abortions cannot stand the noise of a vacuum cleaner, or go to the dentist, because the suction sound brings them back to the horror of the abortion table.

One in three American women have had an abortion.

I think abortion makes women angry. And I think we're in tremendous denial about it.

We're also in a culture where a fake, pornographic view of women's sexuality is being pushed. Women are no longer honored for being nurturers. We have no good role models. Miley Cyrus, who doesn't even have the body of a woman because she's starved herself into skin and bones, is lauded for acting like a horny man.

I believe women are angry about this as well, though we don't admit it. And guys, I'm not letting you off the hook here. You are at fault too. When you treat us like chattel - when you abuse a woman or, God forbid, a little girl - you are destroying a woman's soul. You are making it hard for that woman to love. And women are designed to love. Not be sex objects, but to love and nurture.

I used to rail against the idea that women should be nurturing. But as I got older, I realized there was a hole in my soul where a child should be. Blame it on biology, or get spiritual if you wish, but women are wired to nurture. Once I realized that and started letting out my "inner nurturer," I felt more whole.

I'm not saying that all women need to have children to be fulfilled. What I am saying is that women are wired to nurture - and that can manifest in many different ways. Nuns never have children but they nurture people all the time.

And we should not be ashamed of that. There is no higher spiritual calling than to give love to the needy and soothe the helpless.

When we women go against our basic natures, we become warped and diseased in our souls. We become filled with rage and act out that rage in ways that even a crazy man can't quite touch. A violent crazy man is just that - violent and scary. A violent crazy woman becomes a nuclear bomb.

I believe this is because our hearts cannot handle the direct assault upon our vulnerable inner self that enables us to nurture. When that is wounded (and yes, I believe abortion wounds that part of us as well as abuse), women can go absolutely bonkers.

Yet, look at what the "women's movement" has become: It's entire focus in the West is on so-called "reproductive rights," or more euphemistically "women's health." The sole purpose of feminism today is to allow promiscuous sex without consequence.

And if you actually demand that a female high school student wear modest clothing, you are told you are "disempowering" her and "slut-shaming" her.

It's insane. Absolutely insane.

What's next? Stripper poles in the high school gym, because it's a "great workout"?

Young women have been duped into thinking that their main focus in life should be "sexual empowerment."

What a crock.

It's a distraction. It plays on the fears of young women that they won't be loved. Many young women are desperate for male attention. We're missing a dad at home and trying to fill that hole in our hearts, and confuse a guy leering at us with love.

When I started dating after breaking up with my college boyfriend in Los Angeles in the 90s, there was the "3 Date Rule." In other words, if the guy took you out three times, and you didn't have sex by the end of the third date, he'd dump you because he figured at that point you were just using him for dinner.

By the time I left Los Angeles in 2010, most young guys expected sex immediately and you were lucky if they offered you a drink. You were also lucky if they called. They'd likely try to text you at 1 am for a booty call.

This culture of sexual "freedom" is actually a prison for women (and men). It sets high pressure and expectations for sexual intimacy. And it leads to the need for abortions, because who wants to raise a kid with a guy you just picked up at the bar?

I will now put on my conspiracy hat here. I have come to believe this is what the elites want. It's "Brave New World" they are shooting for. They want the masses to be distracted by sex and drugs and dumbed down. I also think Big Pharma must have their tentacles in the big feminist organizations - pushing synthetic hormones and birth control. It's big business to them. (It's apparently also big business to the abortion industry.)

Look at what these evil forces have accomplished - women used to hold the moral high ground in America. After all, it was the original feminist movement of the late 1800s/early 1900s that promoted "Temperance." They got Prohibition passed. While I'm not really gung-ho over the idea of women advocating for a Nanny State, it is really sad to me that it is now women who are advocating for the severe moral and cultural decline of America - all because they've been brainwashed into thinking that being sexually attractive is "empowering."

It is not. You get maybe a decade or two of men slobbering over you, which frankly isn't all that it's cracked up to be, and then you're put out to pasture. Been there, done that. Don't care about guys hitting on me - it's meaningless. It doesn't mean jack when you are alone at night and they've left because they don't actually care about you.

But for a little while, when you are young and don't know better, you get a little ego boost from the attention. And when you come from a broken family, you don't realize what hole you are trying to fill.

It is no wonder, then, that so many young women are much more focused on make-up and clothes than on what's happening in the world. We've been sold a Big Lie - that we can act like men and sleep around and somehow that will make us "empowered" and "happy." But in order to do that, we must look our best. That means hair, make-up, and shoes, and later on, Botox, plastic surgery, liposuction, and desperate attempts to look twenty years younger.

But who, in the end, gets their feet put into stirrups and has a harried doctor suck the literal life out of them?

It's the woman. She goes home, empty, and the guy who used her for sex moves on to the next girl.

This is why women are angry. And we don't even know it.

And it's why we have failed miserably and are enablers of the destruction of freedom.

Best article, (directly relevant to about 51% of the population RIGHT NOW, today, and indirectly to about 49%), I've seen here in a while.

You have come close to the mark when you said that women have been turned into sheeple by what's termed "feminism" today in our culture. I really consider women who believe in "feminism" to be victims to various degrees, as they are spiritually, mentally and physically damaged by these lies. I see it every day as an RN, and it is beyond sad. It is criminal.

IF the individual makes the daily choice to fill her mind with the "feminism" message, or if caring for children, to let the little ones be exposed to the messages, then women will be exploited commercially for fiat. Our pop culture does a great job reinforcing the "feminism" message to so many every day. It's an effective machine and it's destroying the fabric of our country - our familes.

Where are the Dads? Where are the REAL MEN? They are supposed to be protectors from those who pray on the vulnerable, the self-sacrificers that show with every action how much they love their wife and children?

Many men in our society today are just boys in grown bodies. They were never taught, or shown what a real man is, so they are confused, and like women, they are lulled into a false message that all they have to do is feed & shelter their kids. If they want to "go the extra mile" they might contribute to a college fund. Then, they have done their job in "raising kids." And these are the ones who stick around instead of chucking the family "scene" in favor of the obviously self-centered lifestyle.

Also when a parent daily abandons children to the guberment school every day, the machine gets it's raw material and slowly, over 18 years, turns it into a non-thinking, consuming slave. And the system is perpetuated. Anything that interferes with this manufacturing process is a threat to the system....

......I better stop here. I have started ranting again, and I have to get ready for work.

Well, to sum up, we all get what we "paid for."

Thanks again for an appropriate post.

The problem with Verdi tuning

The problem with Verdi tuning is that all the guys who play instruments A=432 can't play with the guys with instruments with A=440. And if mom is dancing to 440 and dad is dancing to 432, makes for a real discordant dance.

For those that don't know there is a conspiracy theory that all the music you listen to was purposely tuned to a higher pitch to drive all of you out of your minds and that 432 is more mellifluous. Some say it was the Nazi's, the Zionist, and the Rockefellars etc...

And in the esoteric theory of music women aren't mad because of abortions and men aren't fighting wars because their momma's didn't breast feed them but the music being pumped into the eithers is discordant.

The research is divided but some 440 A music sounds like Angels playing on violins to me.

Abortion is murder

Abortion is murder, I have an adopted daughter. I can tell you that it cost me over $50,000 to adopt her from Guatemala.

There's about a three year waiting list to adopt a baby in the United States. There are plenty of parents would love to have a baby.

Anyone who doesn't think it's nurder I ask this question. Could you suck the baby out your self Sir?

Could you hold the suction tube and stick it in the woman's vagina and suck out perfectly good baby with a beating heart?

Abortion is not being human. It's as sick as war.

That being said I don't want government involved in my life either. We can win this argument my changing the hearts and minds of people. not by government fiat/

The tide is changing. More and more view abortion as murder.

Those of us who are pro-life. Are winning this argument

Abortion is not and I repeat not being human. It's a sick disgusting practice and quite frankly it's mind control by the Machine which has led people to think that it's not.

Take the RED PILL.....

How is that Kool aid?

I don't dismiss any of the negative consequences you raise regarding legalized abortion, including rising female anger. But there have been positive consequences as well that go beyond just giving women the right to decide for themselves what to do with their body. For example, studies have shown that legalized abortion has been a contributing factor in reducing violent crime rates. "" First basic Statistics 101 Fact: Correlation is not causation. This is pure propaganda by the Machine to justify killing your own baby. I ask you this,,,,,. Could you suck the baby out yourself ? Knowing that it's your child inside? Well Freddy? By the way I don't go to church, I don't read the Bible, and I'm not religious. I'm just caring, loving human being who recognizs the propaganda about abortion. I'm very thankful that the mother of my adopted daughter chose life. let's choose life. Peace not war and not abortion....... adoption. That is truly being human.......

I had a friend in college that had an abortion (I believe she was in high school at the time). This was about 30 years ago. She had to travel to the states to have it done (We're Canadian). During the abortion they put head phones with music on her to drown out the suction sound.

Guess what was playing?

"Could you suck the baby out yourself ? Knowing that it's your child inside?"

I don't know... I've never given it much thought. Obviously you (and many others) believe abortion is murder. I don't.

Although widespread legalized abortion is fairly recent, abortion is not new. It, and infanticide, have always been around and are not a product of today's god-less society. Can we reverse ourselves and make abortion illegal once again? Sure. Then, as abortions continue (albeit illegally), we'll get the government's new War on Abortion program. And that will work out just like the War on Drugs and the War on Terror programs.

As far as "correlation is not causation," I agree. There have been several studies on this topic and also several counterclaims that the studies are bogus. However, it does strike me as reasonable that, if the women getting abortions come from groups that experience higher-than-average violent crime rates, then their abortions will ultimately reduce the number of future violent offenders.

Child abuse

We have mothers out there who are willing to kill their children. Why then are we surprised that there are women who abuse their offspring who were not aborted? As to legalizing the practice of abortion, why not, the mothers are going to kill their babies whether or not it's legal. But, when our government involves itself in the process by promoting and funding this practice, that should be a clear indication that we have lost our moral compass; and along with it, God's blessings which he bestowed so freely upon us for so long. That's how we wind up with a President like the one we have now to lead us down the road to destruction, and amazingly enough, with multitudes cheering him every step of the way.

Interesting Discussion

I would like to start by saying that GL is an absolute treasure. Don't pussyfoot around the issue GL; strike the root!

My position on abortion is that the government should have no position on abortion. It should not be legal or illegal. It simply is not within their purview. I can tell you right now that the last people we want deciding this "issue" for us is a bunch of criminal, treasonous, scumbag politicians.

Income tax and Inflation are the reasons it became cool to break up the family unit. Kind of like keeping up with the Joneses only in reverse. The average American family now has both parents working sun up to sun down so they can afford to feed their kids toxic food and still have enough leftover for the Ridalyn.

Issues divide and principles unite. Creation is the greatest thing in the universe. I don't know much, but I know that. Who gets to decide whether or not stop that? I can't tell you. But I am certain that it isn't me, and I am fairly certain that it should not be the traitors in Washington.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Sex ed and abortion training while girls are malleable

A new report from Georgetown University suggests that public school children should be exposed to sexually explicit sex education at age 10 – while their views are still “malleable” – and that schools could lower STD and abortion rates by providing all girls capable of reproduction with “contraceptives and safe abortion” without “parental approval.” The report promotes the sex ed and abortion-on-demand regimen for “Very Young Adolescents (VYAs),” defined as children between the ages of 10 and 14.

They also say parental authority violates “VYA rights,” such as denying children in the 10-14 age-range birth control and abortion.

Has no one read Freakenomics?

I think it makes a pretty clear case on this subject. Especially for this peaceful community we share.

I've had a few cocktails as it is Friday night, but basically it states: after Roe v Wade was establisted....about (18?) years later no one could figure out why crime rates were dropping as economic conditions had worsened considerably and police forces had been slashed extensively The Freaconomics author shows through statistics how as a direct result of this Roe v Wade, people who could not afford children were then given the option of not adding a child to a life in which they were raised within poor child reading conditions and this changed everything.

Where is the love?

Where is the love in the feminist movement? or is it driven by anger and confusion?

Where is the love in an abortion? or is it driven by what... fear? probably.

And the males who passively promote such things... who aren't man enough to even honestly "think" about something that devastates the lives of so many women. what are they afraid of? Are the hate-filled promoters of killing babies all the way inside their heads?

If the most beloved woman in their life came to them, ...nervous, pregnant, afraid, and asking for advice. What do these heroes do? Wax pseudo-intellectual and puke out some well crafted noncommittal line from a political t.v. commercial? ...completely institutionalized by the education, media, political AND religious systems. Fear, of they know not what.

"people have always done it, and probably will continue to" hey that sounds that what you're gonna tell her? Or do the fearful have different answers for different settings?

I agree with Pattaya, the good side is winning. Not in the Pro-Life vs Pro-Vacuum political/media arena, but on the ultimate battlefield where Love, Compassion, and all things Natural square off against Fear, Confusion, and all things "system".

Thank you Stephanie

Wow, bullseye! You are right on the cutting edge of the libertarian new age. What age and experience does for wisdom. Graduating college in the 70s and watching this baby killing mindset run from a social sin to an institutional guarantee has harvested so much pain and silent suffering for millions of women. Like any surgery its medically sound with the only objective of killing the person who's only request is to thrive and survive with a natural mother or an unnatural mother. With a natural father or no father. It wants to live and watch a sunrise and occasionally laugh with another person. If the choice is to be hungry or sick in this born world, its the unborn person's choice. They can choose to kill themselves later after they've had enough of this world. But let him/her decide for themselves. "But they put a burden on me!" you say. No, the system that you live in and accept puts the burden on you. That living person has ZERO to do with you livelihood. Change the system but don't snuff the innocent.

If you decide to kick ass taking a tough stand on making sure this practice remains a social norm, please understand a few things:

1) Woman know thyself. Nature has made you a NATURAL nurturer. It is the NUMBER ONE INSTINCT for keeping this train going. As so beautifully described in the article, the earlier you understand this the happier you'll be. And the guy that knocked you up should be made aware of your instincts before and after the act. Working in my catholic church group its what we teach the girls and the boys first starting in eighth grade. It works, big time. Males, by nature are basically pigs and can be slapped around with little effect on the social structure. Letting them know these INGRAINED instincts at least lets them know what their consequences will be. You can judge a society by how it treats its women. So we are not equal in the natural sense. If you doubt this, get in touch with the prolife organization and ask the experienced. You need truth within yourself for these decisions.

2) If you do decide to snuff the baby, try to forget the day of the snuffing, all you end up doing is adding the seven or eight months in your mind and make it a horrible birthday ( along with the vacuum cleaner reminders). Also if you later decide to have a baby, you'll look in the new born's eyes and it makes the damn thing worse.

3) If you never have a baby, then its silent sadness along with the silent loneliness and you can generally plan on dying alone. Hopefully someone you truly love will be there.

3) if you were raped and the intruder forced entry, from a libertarian perspective you can justify the killing using the analogous example of a burglary (heard this somewhere and it makes sense).. If someone breaks into your house, you have a right to kill them, if you let them in (willing) then you don't.

You don't have to buy into the idea that women and men are going to have sex.

That had to happen a few times for us to have this conversation.

Pro-choice to me means a woman is pro-irresponsible. That's all.

She wants to have an out when she gets knocked up because she is irresponsible.

Like I said, abortion isn't going to go away.

Aug 9, 2014 - 8:27am

A fundamental inconsistency

So I know I will get flamed for this one but here goes:

if a woman can get an abortion, even when the father wants the child, why doesn't the father have the right to a "financial abortion", that is to say, to disavow the child and state legally that he will not take responsibility.

after all, we should be consistent right?

it takes two to tango, as it were. I am all for a woman having a right to choose, but shouldn't the father have the same right? In my opinion, this decision is entirely too one-sided in favor of the mother.

The mother unilaterally can terminate the pregnancy, is not required to supply any reason, does not need to confer with the father. The father is legally bound by whatever decision the woman makes.

Even if a father is devoutly Christian, and believes abortion is a mortal sin, he still has NO right to prevent the mother from getting an abortion. It is ENTIRELY her decision. That strikes me as fundamentally unfair.

it seems to me the same is true in custody hearings. Unless the mother is an escaped felon and a crack addict, regardless of the fathers ability to provide a nurturing environment, he will lose custody many more times than he will win.

this also applies to divorce proceedings. I have always bristled at the fact that merely by being married to a man for a period of time, a woman is entitled to what that man has achieved, even if she has not contributed to that achievement at all.

for all the discussion about how women are at a disadvantage in society, I think a reasonable argument can be made that the converse is true in many regards.

another telling point: take a look at any commercial. If there is a character that is portrayed as being bumbling or incompetent, 95% of the time the character is male. And the opposite is also true: if a character is portrayed as being able to multitask and "do it all", or even more telling, "rescue" the bumbling character - 95% of the time that character is female.

i guess all I am saying is let's be consistent.

Flame away....

Aug 9, 2014 - 8:28am

One thing I don't understand

In many states, including the one I live in, if you murder a pregnant woman causing the death of her fetus you can be charged with 2 murders. Yet that same woman could have gone to Planned Parenthood and had an abortion and neither the woman or the person performing the abortion can be charged with murder. Can anyone explain how this makes sense?

Days of Broken Arrows

She's Half Right...

She's half right. What she doesn't see is that this is a one-way street.

Feminists do promote promiscuity for women. But they promote sex as being "criminal" for men. They're expanding the definitions of rape and harassment to criminalize men's sexuality. These days, everything from songs ("Blurred Lines") to sex dolls to prostitution to catcalling is being redefined as "violence against women."

Then there's the imaginary sex trafficking numbers and the removal of due process on some college campuses for allegations of sex crimes. Hell, even sitting "wrong" on the subway is now a form of sexism.

The elites, which she mentions, also control the for-profit prison system and legal system. They indirectly control the media and colleges this is why those institutions promote the "men's sexuality must be criminalized!" mentality of feminism: jailing men over petty bullshit or getting them caught up in legal quicksand means more money for them.

For every "you go, girl!" article about Slut Walks or how high school girls should be empowered by dressing or acting like tramps, there are articles laying out "rules" for how men need to reign in their behavior so as no to offend these delicate creatures. Talk about cognitive dissonance.

"The goal of feminism is to remove all constraints on female sexuality while maximally restricting male sexuality." -- Roissy/Heartiste

that post about the man who is now 65 was very powerful for me. We all need to look with great anticipation to that Hope and hope deferred makes the heart sick. Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ. Those are inseparable if you are a divider of the word. We live in a sick and dying world and have since the beginning of time. It is why we need that hope.

Stephanie I raised three girls who are now all happily married and have give me 5 lovely grandkids. My girls are 24 to 34 years old and grew up smack dab in the middle of all this feminism BS. It is a trick and a lie,, most all of what radical feminism teaches.

A woman is not only a nurterer by design, she feels most fulfilled cradled by a man's side. She came from Adams rib. It is her place of fulfillment. I may get ripped for this view but it is ok. Truth needs no defense. I had four sisters and two are avid hunters, fishermen and target shooters. Two are very accomplished horsewomen. One a radiological physicist.

My parents,, now 89 and 84 taught us seven two things growing up.. Work hard. Respect everyone until they give you a reason not too.

I give you kudos for writing this. A one night stand for both the men and women involved isnt a whole lot different than blowing your nose. A physical function. And the woman being the tissue. Sad. So Sad. Where are the dads? The 60s did away with that requirement with the Great Society and the black family was ruined in a decade.

Good weekend to all.
