Whatever

I'm just generally tired, so I'm taking the day off. Here's an "open" thread.

If you haven't seen it yet, below is the CBC documentary, graciously supplied by "forwhomthetollbuilds". Very kind of him to take the time to record and upload. All three parts are below. Part III is the only one of real interest.

Obviously, the producers chose to exclude the information which I was hoping would finally begin to see the light of day. Thus the title of this post. I'll try to pick up my armor and rejoin the fight next week but, for now, I can't help but feel a bit dispirited.

Have a good day and try to remember to play nice, keeping in mind, of course, The Golden Rule.

That does it!

@ Groaner - Goldmart

Yes I also sent them a check but they were telling their customers and showing on their website "in stock for immediate delivery up till April 17th!!! Plenty of time per their advertised personal check hold and stated shipping policy to have filled both yours and my orders!

I know Apmex, Provident, and Tulving all know how much they have in stock and will advise accurately and not get into a situation like we're in with Goldmart!

Makes me wonder how long they can just hold my money and not ship the item that was represented as "In Stock for Immediate Delivery"???????

@Turd Ferguson re: Please stop with the straw man...

So if you stop posting here and everything is back to normal by this time next month, would everyone be right to consider you a troll?

I'm not being funny - I genuinely don't understand the question. So, maybe?

As far as it being a 'straw man argument', it wasn't an argument at all. It was a hypothetical, but in service to a question that I thought would yield valuable insight. You are free to answer yes, no, or that the question was not well-posed. Any elaboration past that would be honestly appreciated.

Or you can just double down on the ad hominem, it seems to be working for you :(

Silver66

Two things pop out at me from that Russia G20 release:

1. Who is the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee?

2. "In addition it is expected that new instruments and incentives for making the global financial system safer will be suggested during the forum."

p.s. thanks for the compliment.

Don't worry, he can't do it,

Don't worry, he can't do it, either.

Whenever we communicate, it's always "Mr Ferguson" or "Mr T" or just plain "T".

Pretty funny.

Please stop with the straw man arguments and hypotheticals

But if you insist:

So if you stop posting here and everything is back to normal by this time next month, would everyone be right to consider you a troll?

CLASSIC!

I alerted him to it myself :)

I thought it was a good idea to promote awareness of turdville and it's many fine amenities :).

He had a post up earlier complaining that people outside Canada could not view the doc so I mentioned there were links on "Mr Ferguson's site" and got a response, "Great where is the link to Mr Ferguson?" I just don't like saying "Turd" to Mr Sinclair (told him that too).
