Another Katusa Video

The past two of these that I've posted have been well received. So, here's another.

This comes from https://www.futuremoneytrends.com. It's another interview of Marin Katusa of Casey Research. Once again, they discuss the miners and a few of the same specific ones that they like. But they also go into gold as "insurance" and whether or not it's wise to have a significant portion of your assets on physical metal.

I hope you find it helpful.

@ Monedas

I always, although sometimes wincingly, read your posts, and sincerely will be waiting with baited breath for the cascade of wonderment that will be the manofesto flatulencio du mundo du mondeasimo.

A rare voyage into the cavernous intelligencio du Monedas, the man o fest o, the mystery tour, the to and fro, the ebb and flow, the ascension into the spiraling torrent of magnificence, toward the pinnacle, the substantiation of brilliance that is.

The plunge, the tummy tickling flailing plummet, toward the gaping maw, the yawning gates of the valley, that vast arid lake bed, encrusted with purist white salt, that is, 'the mind of the Mondeas'.

And no, this is not reverse psychology:0)

I LIKE KATUSA... BUT LETS LOOK AT THE STOCK CHART

I like Katusa, but lets look at Brazil Resources:

Now, maybe this stock has great potential. But if you bought in the beginning in OCT 2011, you have broken even.

Now, Rio Alto Mining actually has done WELL:

If you got in the beginning of this stock also in OCT of 2011, you would be sitting on nearly 100% gains...okay maybe 80% gains.

Anyhow, I need to look at Brazil Resources. However, I caution investors getting into EXPLORERS when Peak Oil is around the corner.

Drats, I knew there was a new post, but when I tried to get....

At least from my perspective, it appears that the site crashed again.

And yet, now I see other people had no trouble posting.

Anyway, it's not that important, just an observation.

I really hope it keeps working.

I'll buy miners

I'm waiting for Turd or Trader Dan or Santa to say, go!

Why? Because I have taken all I can out of my 401k (barring termination or medical emergency, neither of which I desire). What remains in there is a balanced portfolio: 50% gold and 50% silver in Sprott funds. Each payday I put about $30 back in to repay a loan. I'm letting that build up and will gamble it on miners for fun. I don't expect to ever see that money due to the government "helping" me invest it in treasuries after the bond bubble bursts, so I may as well have fun with it.

Funny how Cyprus is fixed,

Funny how Cyprus is fixed, and the most popular post on my blog is "Maui Fun" which is a good one, by the way, if thinking of going to Maui, this is the real deal shite to do.

@ Loud Noises

I completely agree with you. I to would like to make some paper trades but at the same time I am scared to do so due to the "event" that I have been hearing about for the past 5 years as well....

I have switched from throwing every dollar I have towards PM's to buying a scheduled amount every week and stacking the remaining FRN's on the side. I am in the same (PM-less) boat you are, don't want to have to sell the PM's till it is no longer an option to keep them (whatever that may be).

While I am all for PM's 100% and will continue to tuck them away, I also need to start thinking towards a (paid off in full) house. Gonna need a lot of FRN's in order to get a house without taking out a mortgage (aka an ass raping), but it can be done so long as we have a few more years on this ride...what to do what to do....

@gold slut

I should have been more clear; I didn't mean that stacking won't be a "successful strategy," just that it won't be the "most successful."

Again, this is just based on my recent thoughts. I agree 100% with your point; its why I currently have the stack maxed and the brokerage pretty much zeroed.

wise to stack long term?

@Loud Noises.

100 years ago, you could get a very nice suit made for £2 or an ounce of gold.

Today, you can still get a very nice suit made for an ounce of gold, but £2 gets you a very average sandwich.

I plan to stack until I can't.
