A plant?

Hey Turd, why publish a posed propaganda shot? Who knows who this guy is or what role he's playing. He's got the threatening primate look for sure, but he's not a representative of the OWS's concerns. He's probably a plant who very effectively gets an angry instinctive response from folks and gets that anger to carry over and demonize any movement he's supposedly part of - a very effective form of negative propaganda.

Really? I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you also think that 9/11 was an "inside job". Am I right?

Turd posts a comedian's "rant" and a parody ad and the left-wingers here go crazy. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Left-wingers have no sense of humor...UNLESS the barbs are being thrown by Jon Stewart or Bill Maher and the targets are bankers, Wall Streeters, the rich or politicians (make that Republican politicians). I've heard too many times that "conservatives are too uptight"when Stewart and/or Maher spew their garbage because "after all, they're comedians". Now that the shoe is on the other foot the liberals/left-wingers once again expose their hypocrisy and hold "conservative" comedians to a different standard. It's so predictable.

Lest anyone thinks that I'm defending the crooked bankers, Wall Streeters, rich or politicians (of BOTH parties) please realize that I'm not going to paint with a broad brush on either side. I'm sure there are some intelligent and well-spoken members of OWS, but so far all I've seen are the Socialists, Anarchists and general dead-beats. And please don't tell me it's because the media has mis-represented them. The media has been their biggest cheerleaders.

One last point: Have any of you who so vehemently support the OWS movement offered any of them a share of your "stack"?

Sometimes I wonder how you keep your cool so well Turd!

@alien eyes

"new hippies same as the old hippies" you mean the "old hippies" that placed flowers in the barrels of rifles pointed at them? or do you mean the ones gunned down at Kent State by the National Guard? These "old hippies" were the ones that brought Vietnam to the dinner table and forced the issue. Vietnam could no longer be ignored due to these "hippies" marching, protesting and EXERCISING their RESPONSIBILITIES as CITIZENS of the United States of America. Ever heard of the Constitution or Bill of Rights? There are RESPONSIBILITIES built into these documents. We are not suppose to sit idly by while the government and the banksters steal everything that is not nailed down. I believe it was Jefferson or Jackson that said we, as citizens, were RESPONSIBLE for over-throwing the current government--current is a relative term--if they get out of line. Well, if they are not currently out-of-line I am not sure what it would look like. Criminals given the keys to the castle; criminals being placed in Prime Minister positions in two different countries by other criminals; banksters being allowed to go underground (Jon Corzine) never to be heard from again. What am I missing? We should thank God everyday that OWS is in place as they represent actual citizens exercising their responsibilities that are guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If they are swept away, God is the only One that will be able to help us, as it will be all too clear the Founding Fathers and all they fought for will surely perish.

My dad always told me

The cream will rise to the top.

He was right.

His point was, you work HARD then you work hard some more, then you work even harder. THEN you prosper.

I don't see a lot of hard working people with the occupy people. I do see a lot of righteous indignation.

Hows about they go work for a living for 20+ years then the government comes along and degrades everything they've worked for their entire lives.

You want to see hard working people who are getting shafted by the government, go to a Tea Party rally.

Let me put it to you like this.

Go to a occupy rally, then go to a Tea Party rally and tell me who you would rather have as your relatives. For life, not just the next 3 months.

Tell me who you would rather ask for help when nobody has food, or a warm place to lay your head.

Occupiers sit around and bitch because they want someone else to solve their problems. Then they get up and leave all their trash behind for someone else to clean up. Right. From one of the folks paying for the clean up I think that says everything you need to know.

When the crapola hits the fan, I'll hang with the people that organize food gathering and house building.

I am not stupid enough to rely on people who think bitching about what they haven't been given is the answer. They can't even correctly identify the problem! I don't expect they'll fix a D**n thing.
