Just a short update this morning as The Turd has a big weekend planned and it all gets underway in a couple of hours.

First of all, your charts. We seem to have survived the quick, 48-hour selloff/correction/setback...whatever you want to call it. Though I had hoped gold would hold 1750, it did find support between 1740 and 1750 and, with the benefit of hindsight, you can clearly see that support should have come in there. As to where we go from here, we finished last week at 1756 so anything above there would be terrific. From the looks of the charts this morning, I imagine we'll finish the day somewhere around 1775 or 1780.

Silver held in quite well this week and simply needs a close above $34.08 to close the books with another UP week. Always remember, "what had been resistance becomes support and vice versa". $33 is a magic level for silver. After the September correction, it took silver 5 weeks to crawl back above that level. It has now used 33 as support for the two weeks since. Look for this to continue. In fact, support for silver is from 33 down to 32 so only a dip and close below 32 would signal a trend change and cause me to rethink my $39-41 target.

You might enjoy this next item. Back on Tuesday, I had the honor of being a guest for one of Chris Martenson's podcasts. I was a little worried about how it would turn out as I has strained my back on Sunday and I was into the muscle relaxers pretty good. I'm happy to report that it seems to have come off OK. I hope you agree.

Any disaster

that happens today is a false flag. Though I think they'll skip doing anything today. Entirely too many people are onto the 11/11/11 thing

Thanks Turd

Well Said Turd!

Lastly, 93 years ago today, "the war to end all wars" finally came to an end. In America, we take time on 11/11 each year to pause and reflect on the selfless bravery and heroism displayed by those who fought and died in our country's wars. This day is NOT about politics and it is NOT about the uselessness and waste of war. It IS about remembering those who gave their lives, either voluntarily or by conscript. As you go through this day, please be mindful of their sacrifice and be thankful that you have not been asked to do the same.

Employee Notice

Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early, mandatory retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment.

This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early).

Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).

Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).

A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as Congress deems appropriate.

Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependents & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).

Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED any further by Congress.

Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always prided themselves on the amount of SHIT they give our citizens.

Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your Congressman, who has been trained to give you all the SHIT you can handle.

Thanks Big T / TFMR Anniversary?

As usual, I appreciate your efforts and sincere intensity about whatever it is you feel is important enough to share with us everyday.

I thought today was the 1 year anniversary of the TFMR Empire?

Maybe I'm wrong and look silly for posting this, but I don't care.

CNBC Stocks to Watch....and the Illuminati??

I don't know if anyone else caught this on CNBC about 1/2 hour ago but the "Stocks to Watch" logo had a pyramid with the all seeing eye of horus in it. Spooky.

I have never noticed this before....but some have seen it on "special" days. Is it a sign, maybe a signal?

Anyone noticed this or have any comments on what it could mean??

Yep...I thought so....

...but I didn't.

Thanks dude, for everything!

And hey...what about those metals and crude right now?

If the marketplace makes it mostly intact after this debt/liquidity chaos abates, then it's off to the $2000/$50 races in the PM's and $100 in crude happens way before then. Today?

Jesse's Cafe Reports

With regard to MFG, segregated funds, etc., Jesse's Cafe Americain reports yesterday

as follows:

"It's Official: Wall Street Firms May Legally Steal From Their Customers - Rationalizations to Follow"

It's actually a commentary on a report by Robert Lenzner at Forbes and there are other items to boot.

jessescrossroadscafe.blogspot.com for this and more.

Today's item begins:

"MF Global Update - Why the Puzzling Delay and Lack of Disclosure?"

and you can scroll down for "It's Official" and more, including Bart Chilton's comment as

of yesterday.

Go have fun.

it makes me cringe when I realise that that beach scene that opened Saving Private Ryan not only happened, but was far worse then portrayed

I mean besides being printed out the electronic sphincter, what is going on with the dollar? These fluctuations are such a joke. Dollar bad/good/bad/good...repeat many times everyday, day after day. Same with the Euro, and then there's the SDR. Can we just please quit all the shenanigans and get back to gold. For the love of god, this is just tiresome.

Happy Anniversary, Turd

Have been following your site since February. I believe I stumbled across a Wynter Benton post somewhere when I first got interested in gold/silver. There was a link to your site which I clicked on and the rest is history. BTW, haven't followed WB since that day except to click on links provided here occasionally.

I can truly say that finding your site and the many citizens of Turd Town has been one of the single biggest life changing events of my life. I've learned immensely from reading your posts and the comments provided by other posters. The links to the many articles found here each day provide hours of thought-provoking opinions and observations if one takes the time to read them.

Not only has the site changed my life, but, through me, will influence those of my family and friends with whom I often share the wisdom found here either through email or direct discussion.

You deserve all the accolades found here this morning.

Hope we are all here to enjoy your post on 11/11/2021.

moving toward independence...

Posted towards the end of the last post and really wanted this to be heard. I hope you get something from it.

I spite of my wife thinking I am a "fear monger", "paranoid" "end of the world" "tin-foil hat club member", I still love her very deeply and do not want to traverse this world without her at my side. Having said all that, I have been gathering prep items, food, water, water filter, weapons, ammo and the like. Next week I meet with a contractor to discuss solar for the house along with securing the house. We have already been in conversation with a couple of our neighbors and I have spoken with my parents regarding the continuing degradation of our society. I do not think the world is going to end---no profit for the criminals. Plenty of profit from long-term theft, manipulation and dumbing-down of society. Once the cliff is reached and the free-fall begins in earnest, the goal is to be as prepared as possible, in spite of my wife thinking I am somehow "crazy". The article at Theburningplatform is truly a great piece. Turd, when I was reading this article I was thinking, not only of my wife, but the fine community that has been developed here in Turdville. This article shows, IMO, the depth and breadth in which our society has degraded, thus far. PM's stacked, check; ammo, check; weapons, check; food, water, water filter, check; becoming more self sufficient, on the table and coming to fruition. Becoming less dependent upon outside income is also part of the overall plans that are coming to fruition as well. We should all be looking inward and thinking outward as to how to get out of this nightmare that our society has become. As Chris Duane, at Don't-Tread-on-Me [dot] com has stated--move away from trying to convert people and begin on working on the next phase; the aftermath. Where do you want to be when the music stops? How will you and your family be able to live comfortably and with the least amount of intrusion? What kind of community do you wish to live in? Who will be your neighbor? How will you generate an income? These are much greater issues, at this time, than trying to awaken a Kardashin loving, Dancing with the American Idiols or Desperately Seeking attention Facebook fans. I no longer have time or energy to waste, time is very precious, at this point, and should be utilized to maximize our abilities and put in place our next steps. Having the "stuff" is important, however, as Chris points out, what about the rest? What do we do in order to rebuild, recreate our society? These are much larger, IMO, than weather I have 500 or 5000 ounces of silver. That is why the remainder of my fiat will pointed away from stacking and pointed towards the next level.
