As we head into the weekend, I've got a few things on my mind. However, it would take too much time to type it all out so I figured it would be best to speak to you directly.

The only thing that I forgot was that YouTube only allows 15 minute videos. Well, let's just say I rambled on a bit and ended up somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 minutes. Oops. Therefore, note that there are two clips attached. Please humor me by taking the time to watch both.

Have a great weekend! TF

Hi TF & ty for this site. Imo

Hi TF & ty for this site. Imo spare yourself the incessant nonsense brother & delete the trolls as you see fit. This is your site. Craft it the way you want & if the others here concur, they will ride with you. If they don't concur, they can hit the quit key. The destroyers have always been about. My job is to keep them out of my perimeter.

Imo where we are heading is not the place that my ancestors came here for, yet I am here & I in my miniscule way strive to be good & to take care of the things that God puts in front of me. Even if we never meet, please know that there are people here who are in spirit with your gist & should you be found in need in my area, a good hand would be offered your way.

Keep the Faith brother & remember that others support you even if they don't post a lot.

God bless you & those you love.

Out.

What I consider common ground.

1) PMs are the greatest defense against the collapse of the existing monetary/financial/political madness.

2) The Fed (fiat/fractional reserve/central banking) must be abolished.

3) Less government is better than more.

Now we might have some disagreements about the exact details, means and methods, but anyone who gives general assent to the above is a first class Turdite in my book. I doubt I speak only for myself that if you disagree with one of the above you will hear about it from several folks here.

If others can articulate what they feel we have in common we might be have fewer tripwires in each other's paths.

BTW here's to whole lot of you.

Peace.

Amen Turd!

Thanks for the videos TF! They are a great reminder that you are doing your best as a mere mortal in this topsy turvy world and adding value to a world that mostly just takes. (I can only hope that I add value in some small way.)

As a member of your new site since day one, and a follower of your previous site, I have seen the change in attitude amongst fellow Turdites. As such, I haven't been hanging out here on Main Street as much as I use to. Instead I peruse the forums were the discourse is more civil. That is too bad since I know I miss out on valuable comments here on the main board. Maybe the site is becoming a victim of it's own success. Who knows?

I find all the bickering odd since in the end, we are all (99% of us?) in this together. This tells me that TPTB (the 1%) have done a great job in dividing the American people into bickering factions while they rob us in front of our eyes. And as Turd said, no man is an island. We all depend on each other in some form or fashion.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks Turd for the great

Thanks Turd for the great staff meeting and sharing the strategy moving forward. I'm all aboard. Finally I understand why I've been seeing all the canned bacon ads. I'm still puzzelled by some of the others. But hey, as long as it is bringing in revenue.

Another BTW

Don't know if other people are aware of this or not, but if you follow this link

https://www.tfmetalsreport.com/comments/recent

You get an RSS-like feed that allows you to follow comments in all the forums. Then you can dive into one that strikes your interest.

You can also get to it by clicking on "more" in the "Recent Comments" box on the right side of the page.

We will always to some extent, be surround with the uneducated, ill informed & ignorant. Take any group and do a simple IQ test & at least 1/2 of them will make you wonder how they manage to get food into their mouths. Another example might be children, they don't understand the intricacies or convoluted issues in this crazy world but they know enough to read/sense when those they look to for guidance & protection (mom & dad) are disturbed... in fact they are often aware of parental distress before the parental units are. May be they aren't numbed or fooled by the smoke & mirrors adults often look through? What ever the case, to ignore the "herd's signals" is a good way to get caught in the stampede. Agree with it or not we have one of 3 choices, get out there and direct the herd to safety, get out of the way or get run over.

Have a Good Weekend Turd!

Have a Good Weekend Turd!

That's right , Grab right by the horns on these bickering issues, I'm serious. I hate seeing smart people getting in verbal pissing contests. Waste of everyone's time.

I try to find something helpful to bring every visit to Turdtown.

Blogs allow for Real Time info to be shared by many people from many locations. W/o MSM bias!!!

The site has a great flow of info. The civil discussions allow for a strong learning opportunity. Well done TF, Mods, and Members!

Good vid Turd.

Was that the Turd bunker? Nice. Hey, didn't even notice the nose picking , uh, after that first one. :)

As you kinda sorta said about presentations: Tell'em what yer gonna tell'em. Tell'em. Then tell'em what ya told'em.

Then they'll remember what you told'em. Around here on Main Street it's not wise to separate the "Repubs" from the "ocrats" when talking politics. Referring to Republocrat works just fine and most people find common ground and break out into widespread agreement there.

Using generalizations like Treacherous, Underhanded, Lying, Idiot Politicians (TULIP) works too, without much disagreement or controversy. Who could possibly disagree? When politico's two lips are moving... well, you know.

Grousing - just a bit - repost from previous thread.

Normally I wouldn't repost but thought it was a waste to have this at the end of the previous thread so here goes.

Okay, so I know the "First" thing is stupid & pointless, however.

Today, by some quirk, I happened on the (then) current thread (Collusion & Corruption) before any comments had been posted so took advantage of the common 'first' thread by posting something along the lines of:

'I can't believe nobody has commented yet, that must mean I'm "First".'

Something like that.

This is the only time I have posted a "First" comment and was sort of pleased that I got that seeming prerequisite out of the way.

So my post was removed.

Okay, the mods must be getting tired of "First" posts, but what remained as the first post (the then 2nd post) was equally vapid:

Thanks Thanks Thanks TF

Thanks TF!

Which is obviously a much more astute in-depth comment than my silliness.

If the mods are going to start removing posts because they're pointless, there are a lot of pretty pointless posts here. I'm not sure I can discern much difference between "First" and "Thanks TF". We all thank TF or we wouldn't be here.

I've been seeing all sorts of "were moving xxx subject to the forums" and "there are lady's present so we're removing your image" and "be polite" and yadda yadda comments by mods here lately. I used to be a teacher. Whenever we would see another teacher that liked to overly enforce rules, we would say they are "power tripping". My experience as a teacher was if you made the class fun and didn't come down on them every time there was an infraction, the students had more fun and were more willing to listen and learn when it was time to get serious.

I don't know if that's what's going on here or not, but I do know there is a certain charm to online forums that are allowed to keep some of their edge, just like there is a certain sterility to those that are overly moderated.

I would hate to see this place lose it's edge. I thought "First" posts were a tradition fercryin' out loud!

Hey, thanks!

I'm a long time reader who has hitherto chosen to remain in the deep background. I just wanted to let you know, though, that I admire your work here...and that I'm in total agreement with you on most issues, especially the core beliefs with regards to the monetary system and the value of metals as a hedge. I truly hope that you can continue to maintain an open discussion forum without the trolls and cyber hit men ruining your excellent site. Keep up the great work.

Yellow Stickie!

I call permanent yellow sticky post on this one Turdville. I think that before anybody is allowed to post here they must first have to watch the video. If they won't do that, then they're prolly trolls anyway.

Thank you again Turd.

@Maryann

Your friend tasted fresh home roasted coffee is why he/she won't drink it any other way. I'm frankly amazed more people don't do this - it's better, cheaper, and fun!

Once you start roasting your own you won't drink it any other way either.

I always get a chuckle when I see you right at the front of the line to say "Thanks TF!"

It's one of those funny things that grows on a person as it is executed consistently time again.
