That chart definitely looks

That chart definitely looks ominous! What annoys me is that the insiders who know when the sells are coming are probably already stinking rich and STILL making bucketloads of cash while the rest of us have to try to navigate the turbulent waters of gold/silver to make a buck. It's the same old story of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

I made some money today, could have made more if I'd heeded Turds advice about the beatdown above $40.40 and Hi Ho's warning about there being resistance at $40.30. But I'm just glad to be making some money instead of loosing it!

Must be HFT robots

"repeating time patterns in gold are common:"

Must be because of HFT robots discovering micro patterns to exploit.

Harry Dent

Reading his name just makes me think of Twoface / "Harvey Dent"

Someone could probably do a pretty good photoshop job on him I'm sure!

Still blows my mind that gold

Still blows my mind that gold has support in the $1775 region. Two weeks ago we were capped out at $1650. 3 weeks before that we couldn't get past $1550 for the life of us. Multiple attempts.

Soon (I'm placing it before the US holidays) we will see solid support in the $2000 region. Wrap your brains around that one!

Very interesting development

Very interesting development in VENEZUELA! Does England still have the GOLD? If not, GOLD to...???? moonshot...

Any bets they will just print some cash and give it to VENEZUELA? I hope the gov't refuses cash and insists on the GOLD.

The Bank of England recently received a request from the Venezuelan government about transferring the 99 tons of gold Venezuela holds in the bank back to Venezuela, said a person familiar with the matter. A spokesman from the Bank of England declined to comment whether Venezuela had any gold on deposit at the bank.

A spokesman for the Bank for International Settlements where Venezuela keeps $3.7 billion of its cash reserves, and 11.2 tons of gold, Venezuela values at $544 million, according to the document, also declined to comment.
