Tight Range Tuesday

A new day begins with prices in the green, though not as much into the green as I had hoped they would be. But beggars can't be choosers and, when looking back to where we were a week ago today, a little bit in the green is A-OK with me.

And, so far, there's not a lot going on today. Just two minor datapoints in the US with the import price index and the latest Empire State Fed manufacturing index. Let's start with import prices, which followed the lead of last week's CPI and PPI...both of which were soft and cool....
