The NYSE is still open as I begin typing this new post, though the Comex is closed, with the daily and weekly charts being painted off of that close. Trading continues on the Globex, of course, by necessity demands that I begin this post now and then we'll see where things stand by the time I'm able to hit the send button.
First and foremost, it has been another wild and volatile day in "the markets". The S&P has been down about 50 points and up about 80 points over the course of the day. As I type with about 90 minutes to go in the NYSE session, it's up about 75. Let's see...
