In last night's podcast, we discussed the open interest levels for today's expiring options on GLD, SLV and GDX. Unfortunately, at least at this point as I type, it appears that that was a well-timed discussion.
The shenanigans to contain gold began last evening in Asia. After a strong China open that took price above the $2960 level, it was immediately reversed and driven sharply backward.
