Boy, just when you think you've seen it all, even a grizzled old veteran such as myself still has the capacity to be stunned into laughter. I'm not talking about the actual BLSBS data, instead it's the so-called "market" reaction that followed.

Let's start with the BLSBS. In a few interviews I've done of late, I've mentioned the idea that maybe the BLS would start printing lower job totals and in doing so, I was only half-joking. Why would they do this:

  • They've been quite obviously goosing the numbers for Biden's benefit
  • But now Biden needs a few rate
  • ...
