The Data Picks Up

The first two days of the week were mostly quiet. No Fed Goons and very little economic data. But the action begins to pick up today with the flash PMIs for January and it continues tomorrow with Q4 GDP and then concludes on Friday with the latest PCE inflation data.

All of this will impact and adjust the rate cut expectations chart that we've been following so closely. And why are we following it so closely? Because, at least for now, it's the only thing that is driving CDG. Not the POSX and not the bond market. It's that shifting rate cut expectation curve that's driving Comex...
