Next week brings the "quiet period" for Fed Goons ahead of the July FOMC....and, boy oh boy, are we all ever looking forward to that! Today brings our own quiet period with a day of no scheduled news or data ahead of tomorrow's CPI report.
So far, things are playing out as advertised. Low volume and low volatility in a typical summer doldrum fashion. Prices rallied a bit in Asia before being worked lower by The London Monkeys. Once the Comex opened, there was a little more movement but all of it has left us here......
