A little bit of a late start this morning as I spent some time watching the SpaceX launch. This rocket is designed to one day travel into deep space and was the first ever of its kind to launch. That it ultimately spun out of control and had to be "rapidly disassembled" is unfortunate but it was very cool to watch!
Here's video of the entire event. The first visible sign of trouble came when it appeared that three of the engines weren't burning. Shortly thereafter, the rocket began to spin. But, whatever. That's a first step toward history and I was glad to have seen it....
