Some nights before I crash, when it appears certain that the metals will be lower by the time I awake, I play a little game where I guess where prices will be when I wake up. Occasionally I'm wrong but most times I'm right and I nailed it today.
If you watch every evening as I do, then you could see last night that today was going to be a drag. Plus, after two consecutive stellar days to start the new year, you had to figure they'd be coming today. So, as I hit the hay last evening, I figured two things:
- that the price of CDG would get shoved back toward $1840
