It's going to be another busy week and you're going to hear a lot about the supposed "transitory" price inflation in the US. Why? Amongst the data, the surging commodities and the occasional Fed Goon appearance, we have the April CPI and PPI pending for Wednesday and Thursday.

Once again, we should expect both the CPI and PPI to print big numbers with CPI close to 3.0% and PPI over 4.0%. The key... again ...will be the bond market reaction. Recall that last month the bond market actually rallied on the surging "transitory" inflation data. Will it do so again this...
