Comex Silver Hits $26

Mon, Jul 27, 2020 - 11:03pm

Another significant milestone has been reached.

First, it was Comex gold that filled the gap back to April 2013. Then it was GDX. We knew that GDXJ would come next and then the only hurdle would be Comex silver. As of tonight, it has finally happened....Comex Digital Silver got back above $26.

More tomorrow,

Yes I got stopped out of all

Yes I got stopped out of all but one CFD. I had my buys and stops arranged so it was basically a net zero position. I'll see what the week bring before I jump back in. (Don't seem to be able to do calls and puts in the UK)

There goes London

Right on time for the London smash. Will be interesting to see if they can keep it down until the US comes into play.

A stock like TSLA with a 4

A stock like TSLA with a 4 digit PE went up 8 percent today and nobody thinks twice about it.

Smash

I think you're right that this is the last smash in the immediate future. Both trains are leaving the station and slowing down to pick up those running after them. Preliminary has 142,403 contracts of Aug gold.

Will be interesting to see how much they can accomplish overnight in London.

When's the last time we saw a $2 smash in silver overnight?

If I had the money

I'd take the contract for delivery. I wonder how many funds are looking at just that. This action against Perth Mint may come back to bite the other banks in the ass. This slows down the flow of gold and silver to the markets. Especially when markets are tight. All it really does is make for third parties to make money from standing as middle men. Maybe that was the whole point. I suspect that this smash just before delivery may be the last or second last time we see this for some time. Who would like to bet the numbers of contracts standing for delivery on a non delivery month. I'll bet it's higher than normal.
