New All-Time Highs For Gold

Sun, Jul 26, 2020 - 11:05pm

Sabbatical or no, this historic event deserves its own thread.

It has been a long eight years...but here we are...with new ATHs in both front-month futures and spot XAU.

Congratulations to all of you...for your persistence and for your willingness to remain on this journey, through thick and thin over the past eight years.

p.s. Comex Digital Silver is having a nice evening, too, and just flew through $24. More in the morning.

@choke on paper

You could go for the laggards, I have three in my portfolio:

PVG, GORO and AAU - there are many more, of course. They did well, of course over the last few weeks, but are still quite down from their ATHs.

Just an idea...

Health and well-being in the community

Amidst all the excitement, there is an over-riding need to maintain your health and well-being. In the lockdown, I have made some 10 minute videos that BIG medicine and BIG pharma have yet to catch up with ! They are correct, tho "new" explanations.

Our leader might wish to reflect on the causes of high blood pressure which include stress, sugar, salt, smoking and straining on the toilet. The best all round treatment for your narrowed arterioles is ..... daily swimming - IMHO. Everyone should look at video 1 (15 minutes). Best wishes and please distribute freely to friends and family !

‪2) The "Shanghai system" of classification of adenomyosis

‪3) The "cause" of chronic pelvic pain with, or without, "endometriosis"

4) The cause of Adult hypertension

5) The cause of Pregnancy hypertension

Stock Market crash

Is a high probability event in the Sep-Oct time frame, I would think. So it would be prudent to make sure one can handle it. I.e. not too much leverage, so as not to be forced out at a temporary bottom. Even if we get a simultaneous drop in the metals space, it should be short-term.

Fortunately, a stock market crash would not come out of the blue - there would be indicators giving us time to hedge/deleverage our metals positions if we wish. Michael Olivers primary trigger for down-side in SPX/NDX is if AAPL, AMZN, MSFT losses their respective 50-days moving avg. One could let that be the point where one adds hedges to the metals/miners.

I'm still waiting for those $5 and $10 days (increases). Hell, I need $34 silver just to move my first Monster Box purchase into the green!

As for celebrating, at $50 I open "the good stuff", at $100 I open that $350 Tequila I've been saving, and at $200 silver, we'll all be partying with AGXIIK in Reno . . .

You have been missed!

biggest risk currently imo... another mid-march like market meltdown.

Imagine how easy it would be to hit the "sell"-button on CDG, CDS or any PM miner now. If anyone needs liquidity fast, our favourites are definitely first in line !

So, no "crash", please...
