Sabbatical or no, this historic event deserves its own thread.

It has been a long eight years...but here we are...with new ATHs in both front-month futures and spot XAU.

Congratulations to all of you...for your persistence and for your willingness to remain on this journey, through thick and thin over the past eight years.

p.s. Comex Digital Silver is having a nice evening, too, and just flew through $24. More in the morning.

check the forums

I would start by perusing out mining share forums. In particular, there's one that shows a Bloomberg page of Eric Sprott's holdings.

Remember the old investment

Remember the old investment addage? When they're yellin you should be sellin, when they're cryin you should be buyin! The hard part is to figure out who 'they' are.

Almost depressed...

Finally up on my Silver after almost a decade...

Up considerably on my gold purchases.

Happy I got to load up on Silver in the teens in February.

BUT now that it's finally happened i'm almost depressed i'll never get to buy at those prices again...

NOT FAIR!!

How the hell am I supposed to get a "First", if Turd posts at 11:00pm, and my bed time is 10 pm?!

Blindsided!

This is an outrage!

I remember when I had tons of

I remember when I had tons of shares of these companies over a decade ago. I dumped them all to retain my investment. If you believe the brokerage firms will remain solvent, then the junior mining shares should float your boat.

What to do today

Wife asked what I was doing today. I said I think I will go count my silver. Not that I don't know how much I have but it just makes me happy to look at it.

Looks like the attacks have started

just before 8 am Eastern and continuing after in both gold and silver. This time around they will meet fierce opposition as the dip is bought.
