Guest Post: This Can't End Well!

In this first of a series, I have a guest post for you. Written by a friend of mine, it touches upon several of the issues we often cover here. Feel free to provide "feedback" in the comments section.

11/11/11

Just a short update this morning as The Turd has a big weekend planned and it all gets underway in a couple of hours.

Moral Bankruptcy

As you know, I was out all day today. It was nothing earth-shattering. Just a long list of mundane tasks that needed to get done. Accordingly, I had a lot of time to think. Think about trust. Honesty. Responsibility. The present. The future. All of this stuff swirling around in my mind for hours. I had an idea of what I wanted to write tonight but I didn't know if I could pull it off.

The Criminal Element, Part Deux

Look, I know that the stock market was down 400 points today. Maybe this can be written off as simple coincidence. As you know, though, I don't believe in coincidences when it comes to the PMs.

Bancarotta

Oooh, boy. Today is shaping up to be a real doozy. The rest of this week, too. It will be important to remain calm.

The Criminal Element

Another day, another Globex raid by the EE.

Doubling Down

I've got some good stuff for you tonight. Let's get started.

Ready To Walk On The Wild Side?

As we get set to begin what is certain to be a wild week, perhaps we should let Lou Reed set the tone.

TFMR Podcast #6 - John Soltez

This week, I had the opportunity to visit with author, John Soltez. Not only is John a great writer, he's also an independent trader who understands the PMs and their manipulation. Basically, he's our kind of guy.

The BS Thickens

It's the first Friday of the month so we were once again treated to another edition of The Shill, The Coug and LIESman this morning. Truth be told, I couldn't stand to watch. I flipped on CNBS at 8:29 and turned it off at 8:31.
