Summer in Turdistan

The Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer here in the U.S. This also means that another 3-day weekend is upon us and you know what that means. It's Jackass season!

Because we didn't have quite as much time as usual to record, I decided to ask The Jackass to pontificate on three primary points:

  1. The idea that China and the other creditor nations will one day use gold as the basis of international trade through the issuance of gold-backed trading notes.
  2. The concept of a spilt U.S. dollar where an "international" dollar co-exists with a domestic "scheiss" dollar.
  3. The growing regulator crackdown on Banks, specifically Bafin and other European regulators tightening the screws on banks such as DeutscheBank.

I think you'll enjoy listening to this podcast and I hope that you have a safe and relaxing holiday weekend.

Jim Willie FYI!

Jim, your interview was great! as always...

I've noticed in the past (not this interview) that you occasionally have throat clearing/coughing condition and just wanted to throw this out to you for your consideration.

I like you am over 60 I have a condition called acid reflux it caused me a lot of problems as I got older at night it would aggravate my esophagus and trachea causing me to cough and clear my throat very often during the day.

My daughter is a RN and her husband is a respatory specialist for the VA, while visiting she told me to take Pepcid (Trade Name) for a few days and was sure it would help my condition, I did and wow what a difference! so now when the condition flares up I just follow her suggestion, she also said long term daily use of Pepcid wouldn't be good for my kidneys.

SYSTEM - reset or die?

Is the system going to reset?? ...some internal system pieces take over the role of other pieces and the system continues on in full control?

Or is the system going to die? ...with the 'going away' of those system pieces that are completely unnecessary yet fully in control and dictate the prices of all things used in the world economy.  And while Silver and Gold return to their global monetary role and become the benchmark for all valuation as determined on the free market.

reset or die ?

To those who find this scary to consider, please note that just because the system charts control the price of corn doesn't mean that they create and provide corn.

If the fiat "markets" along wth their price charts that control Main St. markets were to suddenly vaporize... the only thing you would probably notice would be cheaper corn.

You see, to maintain control of people's lives the system constantly tries to tax and inflate away people's wealth.

So that no security apart from the system can be maintained by saving, the chart prices for energy, food, commodities etc are maintained at the highest possible levels.  (while Silver and Gold chart prices are maintained at or near the lowest possible levels).

Don't be afraid to open eyes and consider how the events ahead will play out.

reset or die?  it's all happening in plain sight and in real time.  it's a natural process that has repeated hundreds if not thousands of times, always with the same result.

Only Silver and Gold are Money

Bullish Divergence

Gold stocks not confirming a new low for the week in gold (i.e. gold made a new low for the week, GDX/GDXJ did not), short term bullish if it holds into the close

Andrew Maguire – Ignore The Pullback, Gold To Surge Above $1,400

Andrew Maguire – Ignore The Pullback, Gold To Surge Above $1,400 On The Next Leg Higher

Today whistleblower and London metals trader Andrew Maguire told King World News that KWN readers around the world should ignore the pullback in the gold market because the price of gold will surge above $1,400 on the next leg higher.

Andrew Maguire:  “Whenever we see such a synthetic divergence develop between the wholesale physical markets and the paper-centric non-delivery markets, it allows the commercials (and central planners), who have exposure to the physical markets, to not only take the short side of these naked longs, but to do so with impunity…

Andrew Maguire continues:  “Bear in mind that the bulk of these naked short commercial positions were only able to be added above rising aggregated physical interest levels, but exponentially larger in defense of the Rubicon line at $1,308, a breach of which would threaten what is known as a ‘commercial signal failure.’ We came close to triggering this commercial signal failure but without the close proximity of an underpinning physical market, a short term price gap had been opened which was easy for commercials to fill on the downside

King World News - Andrew Maguire - Ignore The Pullback, Gold Will Hit $1,400 On The Next Leg Higher

Ignore Pullback, Gold To Hit $1,400 On The Next Leg Higher
That is exactly what we have just witnessed — a price gap that closed on the downside, and as is par for the course, we now have the same hot money rinsed and wrong-footed, which is the polar inverse situation of what was occurring near $1,300. The hot money is now overshooting to the downside while the commercials are profitably covering all the naked shorts they added. Commercials are also going long to hedge physical exposure at these levels. This action is no more than healthy backfilling with a fresh, higher stair step being cemented for a sustainable move into and eventually through the $1,300’s.

Looks pretty similar to me.  What a day!  And this is how we end the week.

amarula4's picture

update on my silver price predictions - down to about $15.90

then up by current MACD indicator analysis - a gentle drift down for a few days, then holding, then up again by about three weeks from now. Worst case - down to around $15.

We are at The Edge of Meltdown – Martin Armstrong

We will have the BREXIT report out next week. This is incredibly important for the fate of Europe hangs in the balance. Politicians are only interested in saving their own jobs. They do not care about the people and the markets reflect this arrogance.

Slightly off topic.....

but it's the weekend, right?

This is my first attempted post, as I'm a relatively new "Turdite".  I am in awe of the community and the collective knowledge that is contained within!!  Thank you to all who contribute regularly!!  Usually I don't feel that I have anything to add, but I thought this was very appropriate.

Norman Dodd was tasked by Congress in 1953 to investigate tax-exempt foundations (such as Carnegie, Rockefeller, Ford, etc).  The interview was given by G. Edward Griffin (author of "Creature from Jekyll Island") in 1983.  Dodd's findings shocked him at the time, and will come as no surprise to most here.

I am relatively new in the "awakening" process (approx 2.5 yrs) and to stacking.  As the father of 2 young children, I think this video should be required watching for any parents who have ANY doubt of what the public education system is trying to do to your kids! It is absolutely NO WONDER why such a huge percentage of the population has no idea what is going on right before our eyes! So this is for all of you who are in a similar situation.... my apologies if this has been posted here previously.

Looking at today's COT, noticed that commercials added 23K longs and covered 41K shorts, just curious if you have an opinion as to why they chose to buy 23K  longs vs. cover 23K more shorts? Maybe they are expecting a bounce?

GDXJ action

Great GDXJ action and volume at the $32.80 area today from about 2:40-4:00.  I was watching to see if it would hold and it did.  Very briefly touched $32.74 but maybe we've got a floor now.

All in JNUG!  (just kidding)

My nomination for the dumb bunnies of the week" The large and small speculators.

The large specs sold 49,482 longs and bought 10,174 shorts.

The small specs sold 1 long but bought 5,373 shorts.

This is hard to believe. Can any one be this dumb?

Naturally the Banks improved their short position by 65,030 contrac

The SDR weekend critical 'thinking' challenge

SDR Valuation

The currency value of the SDR is determined by summing the values in U.S. dollars, based on market exchange rates, of a basket of major currencies (the U.S. dollarEuro, Japanese yen, and pound sterling).

- - - - -

Challenge Question:  Why is the ongoing "China"/SDR  system narrative  completely irrelevant, and a completely meaningless non-issue IF the IMF's SDR value is determined they way THEY say it is (above).

Hint:  K.D.
